Well, the Pokémon do like getting stronger. It's not like it's going to be the "Adventures" universe or anything where the Pokémon have no Defense stat to speak of and actually die in a single hit while everyone else in the world act like a bunch of psychopaths. Personally I think the Anime is the most accurate version of the Pokémon world. In second place is the Electric Tale of Pikachu manga verse.
Knight41b in a pokemon battle , you have to focus not just the weaknes, and the stat, but including the aye sigh, the tempureter, the field, condition, weather, pokemon have to be helty, the serounding, training,a new strategy, the sence, and you have to act fast.

Yeah but you're missing a key bit of info, the vast majority of Pokemon enjoy battling, it's inherent within them, it helps them get stronger and form bonds with the humans and Pokemon around them, all it would take is a Pokemon that's capable of speech like lucario or meowth to tell the world that Pokemon enjoy battling and it would likely be allowed, I would even take it a step further and say that Pokemon may even rebel against humans who refuse to battle with them

On top of that, Pokemon's battling aspect was based on Japanese beetle wrestling, where two large male Japanese Rhinoceros Beetles would be placed on a log with a female placed inside the log. It's not a fight to the death so much as a fight to see which beetle can knock the other one off the log. Captive beetle fights are actually safer for the insects than fighting in the wild, as the log would generally be suspended about a foot above a padded surface while in the wild the beetles would be fighting on tree branches.

In the first episode of the anime Ash tries to get Pikachu inside a Pokéball but is unable to, and the Pokédex explains that some Pokémon refuse being put inside them

If they don't fight, they're stuck as they are and will never grow up. It's doubtful most multiform Pokemon would tolerate being partnered with a human that refused to fight and a lot of Pokemon are extremely violent by nature. A lot of Pokemon will become furious or even outright abandon trainers that won't fight or lose the will to battle. It's part of their nature and that nature would shape our perceptions of Pokemon combat. Also if we didn't have powerful Pokemon on our side we couldn't defend ourselves from the nastier wild ones, which WOULD attack towns and travelers, so having trainers (and thus battles) would be absolutely necessary, morals be damned. You couldn't even really ban owning Pokemon, since a lot of Pokemon also naturally seek out human partners to lead them in battle. They KNOW they are more effective fighters with a skilled trainer to lead them. I fear that pokemon that are being in a pokeball are just in a white mist and can do nothing but sit around until they're hated trainers send them forcefully to come out and battle in a rough area.
@@nesian13 actually Pokémon are able to leave pokeballs without their trainer sending them out, this happened several times in the anime, but Pokémon prefer not to because inside the pokeballs is like a restorative, meditative environment that helps refresh Pokémon and give them rest. Anyway, Pokémon don’t hate their trainers, they fight for and respect them, especially ones that are hard on them ironically, which is shown in the first season with the trainer A.J. who pushes his Pokémon to the limit and they fight harder for him because of it, they naturally seek out a tough trainer who will help them evolve faster
You compared pokemon battling to killing a deer, but there's a large difference... Pokemon enjoy battling, and being partners, some of, if not most, of Ash's pokemon were obtained because the pokemon WANTED to go with him! Froakie, Oshawott, Charmander, you name it! I think it's more likely you'd need a license to own pokeballs, just like a lot of people need a license to own a gun, while others can own a skitty just like you'd have a pet cat. One things for certain: the age restriction to be a trainer will be higher than the show.
Coral Maynard Depends. They can kind of communicate... But their "words" are still up to interpretation. Unless a kind of pokemon translator exists, you can never know for sure if they want to fight or if it's because of blind loyalty to their trainer... Would be the argument many pokemon rights people will use... And honestly, it isn't a wrong argument :/
Actually your kinda wrong about the Pokémon cruelty. You see Pokémon actually get a choice to weather or not they want to fight. The reason wild Pokémon do not want to be caught is because they do want to be caught. But they want to be caught by a worthy enough trainer. Some Pokémon are also kept as business partners or just normal house pets. Plus Pokémon get free instant revive resurrecting healthcare after battles that is what the potions are for. They instantly heal after being given to the Pokémon. Also do you really think the USA would want to teach kids animal cruelty? No & This is how Pokémon is not animal cruelty they get a choice. But TeamRocket actually forces Pokémon to fight & does not give them a choice. Watch, research & read the books before you make a theory about a kid friendly show being violent. Thank you.
You can't ignore the fact that you still have to beat up the wild pokemon first, and there is no way of knowing if that pokemon is a mother looking for food for its young that you beat up and captured, or it could be a baby pokemon that got seperated from its pack that you beat down and captured.
@@J0ey1424 regardless I u can tell or not I'm sure the mother would just retreat... Just like animals have ways of bowing out of fights with eachother so do Pokemon which gives the mother Pokemon a chance to run... But also when pokemon are born they don't really need their parents because Pokemon have their own natural instinct and set of abilities to help it along the way...
There would be people out there who would be really mean to their Pokémon if they lost in Battle they would possibly punish the Pokémon’s such as having other Pokémon beat other Pokémon up and possibly smacking or hitting the Pokémon like a kid
@@nestor8682 Literally LIKE MY POOEMON (in the video game DUH) survived A THUNDER FROM A RAICHU How the heck would they get EASILY hurt By Punch N Kicks It'd Make Sense If It's Weak.. It The Trainers Fault tough it's not the Pokemon fault they are weak that's the point of training..
I think Pokemon battles should be legal, because they need it to grow, and catching Pokemon is literally helping scientists to learn more about them, and if they’re afraid about the scary Pokemon, remember there are some Pokemon that will protect you too
I feel pokemon battles would still be a thing as it could help a pokemons strength which could protect you if your threatened plus they could enjoy it, which would possibly also mean that pokemon are allowed in real sports, like say a machamp were to play football with other Pokémon it could go easy on other players while only being allowed to use weak moves on other pokemon, etc etc, so it could only be fair they get their own sport if you think
Why...the pokémons like to have a trainer that can help them survive. And they LIKE to battle and get stronger. Pokémon is about friendship, GOD! Oh, and Peta can stop being such drama-queens!
Imagine having to keep an eye out for *THAT ONE ZUBAT* , or to always look over your shoulder during the darkest nighttimes so no gengars try to curse you. Not to mention what would happen if someone made Arceus or Mewtwo angry.
Pokemon battling wouldn't be illegal. It would be a sport. The elites would really exist. Gym leaders would be really powerful, The Pokemon would evolve after a very long time. And the most important thing, I would be the champion😉😎.
Minus the champion thing, I believe what you said would be accurate. I said something earlier of how a "real life" version would go. This is what I said... In a real world scenario, (the world wouldn't become the "adventures" universe) the world government would be forced to adapted after finding out which countries even still exist (China, N. Korea and other lesser countries would probably fall or be extremely hurt while other bigger countries that probably wouldn't make the same mistake would thrive. Countries might even be renamed to help the population adapt). Scientist would ignore the inaccurate Pokedex entries from the games and begin catalyzing which Pokémon are the least hostile and more than likely to adapt along side humans (while doing the same for the more hostile ones). The scientist would then begin posting these things online and where you could find them (later making updates for an official online or physical Pokedex). The non hostile type of Pokémon would more than likely become pets. It would take several years for humans to even fully adapt to this new world. The type of Pokémon that exist would be the organic ones (this also includes most rock types). Most legendary Pokémon would be in their natural habitats (Ice mountains, volcanoes, Power Plants, a crevice within the ocean, their own dimension away from ours, etc...). In fact, the only legendaries we could even see (potentially) daily would be the Birds and the roaming beasts. On occasion we might catch a glimpse of Rayquaza and the wandering Eon Sibs. After studying Pokémon for a few years, the first Pokéball would be created allowing safe transport for owners and different departments. Pokémon Centers would begin to rise to help take care of injured Pokémon (wild or owned). The wild Pokémon wouldn't be much of a problem because most Pokémon (even legendaries can be captured by electrical devices) can be taken out easily by a gun shot or a sharp weapon (though I doubt we would really need them considering most of the truly dangerous Pokémon live in forest/woods/mountains. The most common Pokémon would the Pidgey and Rattata type Pokémon (they aren't that dangerous and more than likely to run away from you). Pokémon are magical creatures with borderline human level intelligent thoughts, they are in tuned with nature at it's core (they aren't going to start reeking havoc everywhere they go. Some violent scenarios might happen if they hear animals being tortured for no reason though).
but the pokedex is factually accurate, at least in the pokemon world. Just because magcargo is hotter than the sun doesn't matter because it's a slug made of lava to begin with, it's not supposed to be scientific.
While battling would probably be frowned upon, maybe competition would be more like the Pokeathalon in Heartgold and Soulsilver, like olympics for your pets. Races, strength competitions, things like that. Then again, there's also a chance for the legendaries to ravage all life on the planet...
I would still want to go through a journey like Ash and Red and have a full party of 6 Pokémon. My dream team would be..... • Mega Blaziken • Mismagius • Milotic • Ampharos • Silvally • Breloom
My dream team: Mega Blaziken Mega Absol Dragapult Corviknight Chandelure Shiny Umbreon Porygon 2 Mismagius Trevenant Ceruledge Literally any ghost type i see
whoa whoa whoa wait what kind of super powers? Are we speaking of street level super powers? That is the only level of super powers any government or scientists could ever hope to capture, anything on a country wide scale and beyond I can't imagine any government could or would even try to capture due to the wasted resources to the point they would ever feel like they're in control
'Swimming in the ocean? Gyrados could nom you in one bite.' Don't have to worry about dangerous wild Pokemon if you got some of your own. OP is the kinda guy who went in the tall grass before stopping by the professor's lab. Misuse by foreign governments and such is understandable, but individuals' safety would only be a hazard if you're full tard enough to travel a Pokemon world without Pokemon.
However, in bulbapedia, it says that Gold and Red faced each other. No trainer dominated the other. Sure you might say, You beat Red in the end, Gold didn't win... You did. Since it depends on the player, it doesn't depend on the trainer.
I feel like mewtwo would probably be one of the biggest threats. It's among one of the smartest Pokemon, and one of the strongest. The fact that it can mega evolve without a trainer would make the situation even worse. I feel like his telekinesis and mind reading ability would it's biggest advantage though.
I think our best chance against Mewtwo will be some kind of bioweapons. Maybe, Ebola, if we can make it air-transmittable and only be able to develop inside the Mewtwo?
caav56 that would defiently be one of the government's choices. I feel as if missles would be innefective, because mewtwo would likely teleport out of the missles radius.
The perfect mix, of course, would be HIV (or, rather, M2IV, because "Mewtwo Immunodeficiency Virus") and Ebola, remade to be transmittable through air and only dangerous to Mewtwo. When he gets infected, it'll be the end for him. M2IV destroys his immune system, Ebola kills him.
Dude. Don't do this. This has not a single thing to do with the video. Go find some Christians in a reasonable place to find them. Y'know, not in a video about Pokemon.
suBBCriBBE FOuR reeSON 0F NOnNe I’m not against any religion in any way but this is stupid begging for likes based on what people believe is just downright evil and is why religion came about in the first place.
Not to mention we’d literally have a GIANT FLYING SPACE DRAGON, just up in our damn atmosphere like, “sup im your space neighbor, hey be sure watch out for this guy who is like a tony stark ripoff in an astroid”
If Rayquaza goes territorial, we'll have to switch from chemical rockets to nuclear pulse propulsion (riding shockwaves from specially-built drive bombs), because it's only way our ships will be able to be tanky enough to withstand it.
One minute in (out of four) and I have one major point against the "people probably wouldn't allow Pokémon battles/they would be uncommon" thing... And that's two factors: One, in the Pokémon universe, its made clear quite frequently that Pokémon love to fight. Heck, wild Pokémon will start their own underground fighting league out in the wild if left to their own devices (this is an actual episode in Sun and Moon). Second, assuming their intelligence was a reason to recognize Pokémon as "people", then boxing and MMA sets a precedent for WILLING Pokémon to fight for sport legally. … The main problem for Pokémon would be that if recognized as people, many Pokémon that aren't humanoid and cannot use Psychic (the move) would be wards of the state, and require human caretakes while in society; since they're not going to be manipulating human technology well enough to function in society. Which would have its own bunch of fascinating legal implications for "is letting them fight if they want to ethical?", and many authorities looking into it would quickly question if they're actually willing, or if the caretaker is putting them up to it.
This would only work well if the entire world were like the main setting town of Detective Pikachu. We couldn't battle with Pokemon, but have them more as pets and companions, as well as let them help us in everyday life.
I have this discussion with my friends every so often and we realize we have to be very specific when we set up this question: Would you live on an alternate earth where Pokémon is real? or Would you live in the World of Pokémon?
Say why do people over look the fact that some of the captured pokemon love both battling amd ask to be caught by themselves. Stop making it seem a lot more cruel than it actually is.
Let's not forget that Pokemon trainers randomly forcing others into battle and stopping them from running away would cause a lot of fights, arrests, and most like TONS of murder cases just out self-defense from harassment and other stranger-dangers.
now when you say illegal breeding of rares are you talking about leaving a ditto with one in the daycare center for a month and coming back to 80 eggs? also, would they still be rares with how many ppl wh*red their ditto to get the pokemon they wanted?
I would love if Pokémon where real. the battles are sanctioned so it's not bad in most cases. Sure there would issues but that's true for almost anything. Anyway awesome video.
If i could have any Pokemon, i would most likely go for a Lapras. Before anybody says anything, think about it for a moment, it's is a rare Pokemon that is a duel type Pokemon do to Lapras being both Ice and water type. If i were up against someone with a dragon type Pokemon, Lapras can use an Ice type move since it be super effective and if i were a gym leader, i might be the only one who might have one.
Having pokemon fight in battles isnt abuse because it's in pokemon DNA to want to fight and establish dominance over one another. They partner with humans because pokemon know humans have extreme levels of ingenuity and intelligence..... Its a survival mechanism
I would just love to have either a Flareon or Jolteon! They are both amazing, though optimal in either one you have. Need to start a campfire and have no matches? Flareon to use Ember, starting yourself a nice, toasty fire to tell ghost-type stories around. Need to charge your phone to make a life-saving call in the middle of nowhere? Call out Jolteon; a Spark from this eeveelution and you will have a full battery in no time!
Problems Pokémon would cause 1. Pokémon like Charizard and Dragonite cause problems for the world if bad people get their hands on them 2. Gyarados can apparently destroy cities 3. Evil Teams like Team Rocket, Magma, and Galactic influencing people to create their own evil teams 4. If you touch a Muk you die 5. Magcargo is hotter than the sun 6. Drifloon steals unsuspecting children 7. Just imagine Groudon and Kyogre fighting 8. Wailord can cause a whole tsunami 9. Sharpedo can tear through steel 10. Pokémon like Venusaur, Vileplume, and Bellossom can lure people in with their pretty flowers and poison (and potentially kill) with poison powder (Butterfree and Vivillion also apply as really cool Butterflies) Things Pokémon would benefit 1. Water types especially Blastoise with its hydro cannons can easily help out firefighters put out fires 2. Electric types can produce electricity 3. You can get around easily flying on the back of a Pidgeot or other flying types 4. Pokemon healthcare is free 5. If you happen to get robbed pull out the level 100 Mewtwo you found in some cave and completely destroy the attacker 6. Pokémon would help people lose weight by them walking to every city 7. Gym Leaders, Elite Four, and Champion can protect the country with their almighty pokemon 8. Pokémon like Machamp, Hariyama, and Conkeldurr can easily help out with construction work 9. Teleport anywhere with Abra or Cosmog 10. Grow a bond with your Pokémon and do things like Mega-Evolve and use Z-Moves You would probably just die because of Magcargo alone.
If Pokemon Were Real: Exploring the Possibilities and Challenges of a Pokemon World Pokemon is a beloved franchise that has captured the hearts and imaginations of millions of fans around the world. From the video games to the anime to the trading cards and beyond, Pokemon has become a cultural phenomenon that has endured for over two decades. But what if Pokemon were more than just a fictional world? What if Pokemon were real? What would a world with Pokemon look like, and what challenges and opportunities would, we will explore some of the possibilities and challenges of a Pokemon world, drawing upon our knowledge of the Pokemon franchise and real-world issues and trends. First, let us consider the potential benefits of a Pokemon world. One of the most obvious benefits would be the ability to interact with and train Pokemon in real life. Imagine being able to catch a Pikachu or an Eevee in the wild, and then train them to battle other trainers and participate in contests and exhibitions. This would offer a level of engagement and excitement that is hard to replicate in any other form of entertainment or activity. Another benefit of a Pokemon world would be the potential for new technologies and innovations. In the Pokemon games and anime, we see a range of technologies and tools that are used to capture, train, and communicate with Pokemon, such as Pokeballs, Pokedexes, and video phones. In a real-life Pokemon world, we could see similar technologies being developed and refined, which could have a range of applications beyond just Pokemon training and entertainment. For example, the ability to communicate with Pokemon telepathically could have implications for human communication and interaction as well. However, a Pokemon world would also present a number of challenges and risks. One of the most pressing concerns would be the potential impact of Pokemon on the environment and wildlife. In the Pokemon games and anime, we see examples of Pokemon species that have a significant impact on their habitats, such as Charizard's tendency to cause wildfires or Gyarados's ability to create tsunamis. If these and other powerful Pokemon were to exist in real life, they could have profound and potentially dangerous effects on the natural world. Governments and regulatory agencies would need to establish rules and regulations to govern the ownership and management of Pokemon, in order to mitigate these risks and ensure the safety of both humans and Pokemon. Another challenge of a Pokemon world would be the potential for conflict and exploitation. In the Pokemon games and anime, we see examples of trainers who mistreat or abuse their Pokemon, as well as criminal organizations like Team Rocket that seek to exploit Pokemon for their own gain. If Pokemon were real, there would likely be similar instances of mistreatment and exploitation, as well as conflicts between trainers, governments, and other stakeholders over issues such as ownership, regulation, and conservation. Despite these challenges, it is possible that a real-life Pokemon world could offer a range of benefits and opportunities for both humans and Pokemon. Governments, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders would need to work together to establish a framework of rules and regulations that balances the needs and interests of all parties involved. This could involve public consultations, scientific research, and ongoing dialogue and engagement with the broader community of Pokemon fans and enthusiasts. In conclusion, if Pokemon were real, it would represent a fascinating and complex world that would offer both opportunities and challenges for trainers, governments, and other stakeholders. Whether and how we could navigate these opportunities and challenges remains to be seen, but it is clear that the world of Pokemon offers a wealth of possibilities for imagination, engagement, and exploration.

That's what I thought, since you DON'T have to attack it. You can just chuck a ball, bam. Or like you said, they choose to.
Coral Maynard that actually makes a lot of sense
Coral Maynard Depends.
They can kind of communicate... But their "words" are still up to interpretation. Unless a kind of pokemon translator exists, you can never know for sure if they want to fight or if it's because of blind loyalty to their trainer...
Would be the argument many pokemon rights people will use...
And honestly, it isn't a wrong argument :/
Coral Maynard I own a gun no license😂😂😂
DJ RockXD All you need is a Lucario or Mewtwo to say they like fighting.
Done.
i would love to have a nightime cosmog to evolve to a lunala at full form my friend said he would want solgaleo too.
@@brandynnuique9460 catch it

Love this comment

Me: Pokémon! Cool
Mewtwo: Are you sure about that
Mewtwo:*rips earth in half
Me: 🤬
I feel pokemon battles would still be a thing as it could help a pokemons strength which could protect you if your threatened plus they could enjoy it, which would possibly also mean that pokemon are allowed in real sports, like say a machamp were to play football with other Pokémon it could go easy on other players while only being allowed to use weak moves on other pokemon, etc etc, so it could only be fair they get their own sport if you think
Why...the pokémons like to have a trainer that can help them survive. And they LIKE to battle and get stronger. Pokémon is about friendship, GOD! Oh, and Peta can stop being such drama-queens!
And it's even shown that wild Pokémon are jealous of Pokémon with trainers, resulting in them seeking out worthy trainers.
People who fu*k their pets, waiting to get a pikachu: Yeah boy...
No need for a PETP because there’s already a PETA for Pokémon, it’s called TEAM PLASMA and they’re about as sane too! 🤣
Oldschool Plasma (loyal to N) are pretty cool. It's Neo Plasma (loyal to Ghetsis), which are actual shitbags.
Imagine having to keep an eye out for *THAT ONE ZUBAT* , or to always look over your shoulder during the darkest nighttimes so no gengars try to curse you. Not to mention what would happen if someone made Arceus or Mewtwo angry.
If arceus or mewtwo got angry well arceus would like always be away from people and just stay away from mewtwo unless you have a master ball

Roggenrola: "This is fine. I'm okay with this."
Just a bit of info the title is grammatically incorrect
It should be
What if Pokémon were real?
You can reffer to the species
Plural
Or to the movie
Singular
that would actually depend on if you're referring to Pokemon (the tv show) or pokemon (the tortured slaves)
He may have meant Pokemon in general. Like gyms, pokeballs, boys that stay 10 when they should be 30.
Unbound Infinite I would beat u with rayquaza and greninja
Adam Hennessy oh yeah? I would have captured the arceus by that time. How would you beat me then?😂😎
Knight41b great imagination man. Whatever that world would be like , it would sure be fun
but the pokedex is factually accurate, at least in the pokemon world.
0:45 You're forgetting something here, Pokemon love to battle. In the anime, it even says that wild Pokemon are jealous of Pokemon with trainers

whoa whoa whoa wait what kind of super powers? Are we speaking of street level super powers? That is the only level of super powers any government or scientists could ever hope to capture, anything on a country wide scale and beyond I can't imagine any government could or would even try to capture due to the wasted resources to the point they would ever feel like they're in control

also if there was a war, trainer red would dominate all
Gaming With Miner514MC Gold:Did you forget me
What if red isin't in the universe that you would live on
What if red isin't in the universe that you would live on
However, in bulbapedia, it says that Gold and Red faced each other. No trainer dominated the other. Sure you might say, You beat Red in the end, Gold didn't win... You did. Since it depends on the player, it doesn't depend on the trainer.
Then the champion would be nicknamed Red

Did I just see a dolphin with a shotgun on it
It's a camera used to spy on military ships
One minute in (out of four) and I have one major point against the "people probably wouldn't allow Pokémon battles/they would be uncommon" thing... And that's two factors:
One, in the Pokémon universe, its made clear quite frequently that Pokémon love to fight.

Having pokemon fight in battles isnt abuse because it's in pokemon DNA to want to fight and establish dominance over one another. They partner with humans because pokemon know humans have extreme levels of ingenuity and intelligence..... Its a survival mechanism

Problems Pokémon would cause
1. Pokémon like Charizard and Dragonite cause problems for the world if bad people get their hands on them
2. Gyarados can apparently destroy cities
3. Evil Teams like Team Rocket, Magma, and Galactic influencing people to create their own evil teams
4. If you touch a Muk you die
5. Magcargo is hotter than the sun
6. Drifloon steals unsuspecting children
7. Just imagine Groudon and Kyogre fighting
8. Wailord can cause a whole tsunami
9. Sharpedo can tear through steel
10. Pokémon like Venusaur, Vileplume, and Bellossom can lure people in with their pretty flowers and poison (and potentially kill) with poison powder (Butterfree and Vivillion also apply as really cool Butterflies)
Things Pokémon would benefit
1. Water types especially Blastoise with its hydro cannons can easily help out firefighters put out fires
2. Electric types can produce electricity
3. You can get around easily flying on the back of a Pidgeot or other flying types
4. Pokemon healthcare is free
5. If you happen to get robbed pull out the level 100 Mewtwo you found in some cave and completely destroy the attacker
6. Pokémon would help people lose weight by them walking to every city
7. Gym Leaders, Elite Four, and Champion can protect the country with their almighty pokemon
8. Pokémon like Machamp, Hariyama, and Conkeldurr can easily help out with construction work
9. Teleport anywhere with Abra or Cosmog
10. Grow a bond with your Pokémon and do things like Mega-Evolve and use Z-Moves
You would probably just die because of Magcargo alone.
If Pokemon Were Real: Exploring the Possibilities and Challenges of a Pokemon World
Pokemon is a beloved franchise that has captured the hearts and imaginations of millions of fans around the world.
Imagine of having a beehive in your backyard in the Pokémon world....
