Great lesson. As a guitar player, this was really quick to learn as a first song on piano. I'm trying to decide what to do next, to develop my learning. A) invent variations on this; B) learn to play this progression in different key(s); C) learn a different tune. Opinions?
Lovely Video clip! Sorry for chiming in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you thought about - Deyvelynar Celebrated Dominance (should be on google have a look)? It is a good one of a kind product for discovering how to learn the piano fast without the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my mate got amazing success with it.
Is this typical of Pianote's content? I'm looking for an online course, and I found this easy to follow and not boring or insulting to my existing music knowledge.
I’m loving trying to do this. I’m completely hopeless but I’m still loving trying to do it! I think there’s something wrong with my brain or my hands or both! 🤣 I can do either hand separately no problem but as soon as I try to make them both go at the same time I turn into a thunderbirds puppet! Any tips to get that left hand to just work all on its own?!
Hey I don't know if you'll see this, but it's impossible for your hands to do two completely different things at the same time. The trick is to play the left hand slowly and figure what notes to play on your right hand relative to what left hand note your on.
I like swinging the eighths. At the end he said for 50s style dont swing the eighths. So just curious, what style would that be more like if I swing the eighths?
At 3:25, you do a transition with the right hand just after playing the f chords on your way to playing the c’s. I can’t freeze the video and see what notes you hit. One is an e flat, but the rest is a blur. Please clarify.
@@PianoteOfficial Cheers for the reply. Seems I am not relaxing but it's so rewarding when you play a peace of Music and get it right. I expect to learn something over night and tend to rush things. Seems it takes years to perfect the Piano with lots of practice. Great video.
Hey Jordan, my name is Rocky.. I just found your video here and wanted to know if you might be in or around the NYC area? If so? i would like to talk more with you about possibly playing synth on 2 albums of music i will be recording soon. The music is all 80s sounds, Fun, upbeat, positive and rocking.. let me know.. Thank you
Pianote Hi.. Well, to be honest, maybe at another time if either of us moves. I know only when musicians are together, playing together, does the magic happen! You should find that out for yourself. its everything! But thank you anyway..
Honestly I am 12 now and i learnt this when i was 8 and since then i have added right hand riffs and made it my own version of this base rock and roll rythm. If you just practise until your hands are numb then i think you will be fine 👌
You're right, sorry about that. The notes at the top are Eb-C-Bb with a G at the bottom. You can see it at 3:24 and you can slowdown the playback speed if that helps. But sorry we should have demonstrated that.

Eb - C - Bb are the top notes, and he's playing a G with his thumb!
Boo Yah!
I might write something in this style
Ganesha on Jordan's t-shirt!! How cool is that 😊
you're most welcome! and thank you for the music and the knowledge, and for giving it to us all...
Can you please do a cover??? I want to hear you play.
When you first start playing is it normal to feel some discomfort, pain in you hands and fingers? Not a whole lotta pain just a little?

Can you guys not make an album? I would listen to this everyday especially if you do like 30 improvised tunes.

what is this from?
can i get the sheet music for this?
Hi Jordan, Is there a chance of getting a sheet music for this. Would really help with my learning
When you add the 6th what chord are you playing?
It's still the same chord, just with a 6th, So the C is still a C (just a C6). The F is F6 and G is a G6.
@@PianoteOfficial Ok thanks.
Isn'it boogie woogie?
No.
Check out Brendan Kavanagh's channel for boogie woogie. (He does rock and blues as well though).
👍
Even at 0.25x speed it's too fast :(
I'm sorry about that!
Nothing wrong with starting off slow.
Do you think i can learn This im 12 i already play alot of piano😁😁
@@PianoteOfficial thanks means alot. My brother really wanted me to learn this.

Okay I swear to god can any of you "teachers" just play it. Some of us learn by ear. I think I got 5 seconds of actually hearing it.
Mostly Jelly Roll Morton and Fats Waller....Jerry Lee Lewis not even close to what them two guys were doing!!!
You cannot play hard rock on piano
No? Look at "vkgoeswild" youtube channel...
This has little or nothing to do with Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard; epic fail.
Bad teacher
💪💪💪💪😍😍😍
Thank you!
