The thing that everyone seems to forget about hospitals they have to pay their doctors and surgeons and Specialists and nurses a lot of money. A lot of these surgeons spend hundreds of thousands of dollars - Millions of dollars to go to these colleges where they spend eight to twelve years researching, learning, and practicing in order to be able to save lives. Hospitals know this, and know that they need to pay enough money in order to make that decade worth of studying and training worth it for the doctors, which is why they have to charge for healthcare. If they give away free healthcare, that they can't pay the surgeons, doctors, and specialists. If they aren't getting paid then nobody will want to go to school to become a doctor because it will no longer be worth all the time and money that they sacrificed in order to become the doctors. Free healthcare means no money to pay the doctors which means nobody gets Healthcare. Basic math.
