I love that most of your game videos you describe "as too long, too ambitious" in them. I feel like I do that a lot as being new to programming, new game design and new to pixel art that my goals far exceed my abilities by a wide margin.
Fun game!! I played it and I liked how snappy the movement and how colorful the maze was, kind of reminds me of sonic battle for the GBA it had a similar tile/sprite thing and that was one of my favorite games of all time. Good work, I would've loved if there was some hidden dialog or something, like some secret storyline where you spread gossip or deliver messages or unite the creatures against the badgis or something, that wouldve been cool
Hey goodgis I don't think you remember me but that's okay. I recently discovered my drive to make games and I am in love with making game art and creating my own metrovania. I recently struggled for a long time to get motivation to make games and to be honest thanks to your video and the inspiration I got from them, I have been able to get to a whole new level of game making that I have never even dreamed of so I just wanted to say thank you for all that you do.
The game is really cool! I bet you could expand the concept into an even larger project. Also, what game do you show off at 4:28 in the video? It looks neat.
