1897 Vintage Steinway B Grand Piano | Fully Rebuilt!

This piano is super cool! This is an 1897 Steinway B grand piano, it measures six foot 11 inches from the front to the back, and as you can see we fully rebuilt this grand piano. So when we got it we got it from a broker of ours, it needed everything, so we stripped and refinished piano's cabinet itself, did the same thing, as we pulled the plate & refinished that. We stripped and sealed the sound board, same thing with the bridges, did a whole new pin block, restrung the piano, refinished the damper heads, all new damper felts, and we've also re-nickel plated all the hardware on the piano itself, but what the big expense was and everything was all on the inside.
When you take a look at the inside of this Steinway & Sons B piano, the first thing you're going to notice is everything looks brand new, and that's because we replaced all the hammers, shanks and flanges; these are all brand new runner parts. These are runner blue points, we also did all new runner weapons as well we polished the let off rail, did all new let off buttons, we even stripped and repainted these action brackets as well.
One thing we do that goes a little further is we also soda blast these key sticks, so they do look new they are not new, they are soda blasted, and then also we put a veneer right here on the side of the key, so it looks like when you're playing it; looks like you have new keys these are really just the original key sticks, but we put a brand new veneer right here just to kind of make it look nicer.
So you don't see all that kind of grime and dirt you see on older pianos there, we even re-bush the bounce rail and the front rail as well. So literally guys we did everything to this piano, and it sounds amazing!
