60 year old straight man here. I’ve been a fan since 2019. Hes the total package; great songwriting, great band, great performer, absolutely beautiful voice.
When I introduced my wife to his music that's how I described his voice as he is very Orbison-esque. I'd love to hear him do a cover of 'Crying' or 'Only the Lonely'. Oh and my wife she's a bigger fan than I!!
At first, I thought the title of that duet with Willie Nelson was "Cowboys Are Frequently Secretly Fondling Each Other." I definitely misread that one!
I'm platonically in love with this man. A unique talent. Always hated Country music, but this year has me questioning that. He's one of the artists to make me do so.
I was at Chicago show shown in the video, front row. Orville was charming, funny and handsome, and his voice was on point. He's the whole package. His band was tight, and dressed very classy. The two opening artists were also very good. Overall, the entire evening was fantastic, a great show.
I am a 72-year-old straight woman and I adore the voice, presence and honesty of Orville Peck. I am going to get to see him in concert In Denver in August, and I can't wait. I love his music; his lyrics have brought an Epiphany of events in my own life. He is the real deal. I only learned of Orville last year from an episode of RuPaul's Drag Race. I thought Orville to be the sweetest, funniest, kindest and intelligent. He is all that and true to himself. The Bible has charged to love our fellow men, I have done my part. When I became aware of Orville, I wrote in my diary "Dear God, Thank you. P.S. Now can you please make me 40 years younger and Orville bi."
Orville Peck is amazing and I never think of him as country as much as alt country noir. I also kind of wish he kept the fringe on , ha. Just so much more mysterious.
He has COMPLETELY revealed himself 😂 But if I'm not mistaken, he knows there are pics of him without the mask readily available on the internet and he wears the mask for himself, not to hide who he is.
His music is amazing and he seems like the sweetest guy! I love seeing him get more and more recognition! ❤️ Y’all saying his music is “just okay” need to get your ears checked! 😂
To be honest, I couldn't get past the mask, at first. I like his mask better without the fringe. But if you think about it, every artist has THEIR own style/gimmick, that sets them apart, and it triggers a memory. This guy has an amazing voice. When I listen to him, I find myself mesmerized.
I love Orville Peck. He has a great voice, good songs and he's a fantastic entertainer. On top of all that, he's bringing back real country music! Big fan!
I discovered Orville and his music the year he did both Cochella and Stagecoach and was VERY impressed. His voice is amazing. The songs are great. The mask is fun. And he has only continued to get even better. The duets are absolutely fantastic. But what I really would like, is a duet with Dolly Parton. I’m hoping there is one just waiting to be released.
Orville you have a good looking face. Dont hide it like The Lone Ranger or Robin from Batman. You don't need to hide behind anything. We love you just the way you are. Aussie Jim Down Under.
I mean, the fringeless mask is not anonymous. You can now tell what he looks like. I’m not into modern country, but love the classic country style . I’ve always loved Lucinda Williams whose message and voice is also beautiful. Oddly enough, my grandfather’s favorite artist was Willie Nelson
No, it’s not anonymous. People have easily uncovered who he is and he has been making music for a long time. It’s fun and a good shtick. His music is incredible. Just let him do what he wants. It’s not hurting anyone.
I'm continuously fascinated by how his shall we say risqué past never seems to surface in any type of reporting, written, live, or otherwise. Yet, if he were a woman without a doubt it'd be a topic of discussion (and likely shame). Anyway, even if I'm not a fan of his music, I'm a fan of Orville Peck.
When I was raised in the 80s I was taught to ignore our differences and accept all people. Now we are taught to only pay attention to people's differences and exploit them. I think we're going the wrong direction.
Hello, I don't think ignoring difference is the way to go either. Those differences exist and the affect people in different way. The right thing to do is to see those differences and to accept them and to be respectful of others. There is still so much homophobia in the country buisness, so I think there is needs to see and celebrate difference.
The true way is somewhere in between. Inherent, innate differences between people aren't bad. We should see and appreciate people for who they are, and accept and celebrate those natural differences while still understanding that we are all equal in dignity.

Same same same (except the 60 up man). Love how he bri gs is together.
Orville Peck has "it". He's going to have more success. Thanks Joe for the interview.
He sounds like Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison mashed together. Perfect voice.
When I introduced my wife to his music that's how I described his voice as he is very Orbison-esque. I'd love to hear him do a cover of 'Crying' or 'Only the Lonely'. Oh and my wife she's a bigger fan than I!!
I’m so glad he is getting the recognition he deserves!!! Bravo!!!! ❤️🏳️🌈
This guy is true to himself and has an amazing voice and great talent. I wish him great success.
I absolutely love Orville, love his music, love his voice and he seems like a genuinely lovely guy.
I just saw Orville Peck in concert. He was fantastic. I would love to see him again!!!
A voice so singular as the artist himself.
I am so happy for him. He is so deserving of all his fame. It's only just the beginning. I'm privileged to watch him grow!!
My family and I saw Orville in concert last month. It was my 8 year old daughter's first concert. The crowd was wonderful and he put on a great show!
He's a great singer with good music. Love him
At first, I thought the title of that duet with Willie Nelson was "Cowboys Are Frequently Secretly Fondling Each Other." I definitely misread that one!
Kind of the same thing.
I'm platonically in love with this man. A unique talent. Always hated Country music, but this year has me questioning that. He's one of the artists to make me do so.
Saw him in concert. His voice is as good, if not better than his recordings. Please give him a listen!
I stumbled upon "Midnight Ride" by chance last week, and I'm obsessed. His music is so good, and Stampede Vol 2 can't come soon enough
Odd they don't talk about him being a drummer with Nü Sensae
I just luv Orville handsome talented genuine artist period 😊❤❤

I adore Orville! Thank you for having him on. I have my tickets to see him live this fall.
Orville Peck is amazing and I never think of him as country as much as alt country noir. I also kind of wish he kept the fringe on , ha. Just so much more mysterious.
How have i never heard of him?! I always listen to country.
Good to hear of his Canadian connection.
What a unique voice
Good for him. Never heard of him before
His mask keep getting more and more revealing. I predict that one day, he’ll completely reveal himself
The mask is stupid
He has COMPLETELY revealed himself 😂 But if I'm not mistaken, he knows there are pics of him without the mask readily available on the internet and he wears the mask for himself, not to hide who he is.
Amazing artist!!! I came across him when Willie collaborated with him.

Saw him live in Michigan. He was AMAZING ...his voice is so beautiful ❤❤
Orville has a great voice. Sounds like Elvis at times.
I love Orville Peck. He has a great voice, good songs and he's a fantastic entertainer. On top of all that, he's bringing back real country music! Big fan!

I wish I had a date for his next show
The real life green hornet. Country singer and vigilante at night.

My father is the same way.. though he did clock our bartender at Applebee's way before I did. 😂😂😂
Sound like Elvis but better lol

I love him. Music, not si much. Love the representation he brings in an industry that's not welcoming of lgbtq+ people. He's very important
Incredible talent.
Still didn't get an answer of why he's wearing a mask. ugh.
Seriously? No recognition of Sia?
I will forever despise the "Q" word....😡😡
He is so HOT!!!
y'all know his real name and saw his face right?

Slowly getting a face reveal 😀 I predict within six months. He will have it just around the eyes like Zorro.
No more Fringe Benifits?
He's hott.
Where did the idea come from? Sia.
Right 😳
😂😂
He’s white let’s say if he was brown it wouldn’t be that welcomed, but saying that his music is good
Now tell us about all the diversities in African, Latin and Asian music, TV, movies and populations..
Great music...BUT, you are hiding
2:35 Uh, hello K.D. Lang?!
Never heard of him.
Listen to the album pony. It’s fabulous
Man, get rid of the mask. Looks ridiculous.

Looks like a doggin mask
He's ok. The mask is a gimmick and the mask concept fades soon
He’s been wearing it for like nine years
Why’s he using a fake American accent as well if he’s from South Africa! He should be more like Keith Urban but South African ha
its a shame he' already ruined his face with lip injections
