Two things. Walmart has three color pepper strips with onion strips in frozen food. Since brown rice takes the same time as the chicken I would put some on the bottom! Fajita Brown Rice...yum

I thought that it would be too mushy if I cook the peppers with the chicken but I see you've done that and it worked out fine. Thanks!

I don’t buy fajita seasonings anymore. Your seasonings in your Fajita steak kabobs is the perfect seasoning for fajitas. I keep bottle of it mixed up and use whenever I want fajita seasoning. I just scale up the amounts of each seasoning and make a bulk batch. This is a quick recipe for quick fajitas.
I saw that you added chicken broth, but don't see it in the written ingredient? Also, does the fajita mix replace all the separate seasonings? Thanks 😊 I am so new to the Instant Pot.
The best use of the broth, that's made from the fajitas, is to measure it out and then add an equal amount of minute rice to it. You will end up with chicken fajita rice, a great way to stretch your meal. 😁

Ok so I need help. I love fajitas and I want to make them but my man does not like the peppers or the onions. I usually just use minced onions to replace the actual onion. But what should I do about the peppers? Maybe half the amount of peppers used and I eat them? I feel like you can’t make fajitas without the peppers. That seems like a sin
You can easily cook up your onions and peppers on the side. Then just add them into your portion. You could leave them out of the Instant Pot cooking process.
I really wanted to like this recipe but it had too much liquid. I ended up taking the fajita mixture out of the instant pot and putting on a sheet pan with more seasoning and broiling for a few minutes. I may make it again with less liquid :)

Absolutely love stainless steel, and will not use a coated product again.This pot has many settings and many buttons, and i need to sit down with a manual to figure out which setting to use. I used the basic functions, and even though i am not technologically skilled, i turned it on and assembled it without any help.Very satisfied with this product overall.

Sorry. I don't know why people use chicken and fajitas in the same sentence. Fajitas are beef skirts found only on cows. It is not a part of a chicken's anatomy. That is as misleading as Grape Nuts. Hey, Cyn, just do a search for other recipes on their web site, it's fantastic. Before the shut down, I went to the library and checked out two recipe books of theirs, loads of different ideas. Chicken is the easiest thing to do in the IP, and those you have become tired of seeing, just ignore and see the next one. So much out there! Enjoy.
I give this recipe a thumbs down. I made it yesterday. Soooooooooo much liquid, looked like chicken soup. Even with me using 10 garlic cloves and 2 packets of the seasoning there was NO flavor. I make chicken fajitas in the oven every 2 weeks. And this recipe scorched the bottom of my liner. I will go back to making chicken fajitas in the oven.

How much time if chicken thighs are used instead of breasts?
Cook for the same amount of time if using frozen chicken thighs.

This looks like it would be a good soup if you add extra liquids.
You could eat this as a soup after the chicken is shredded. That would be very tasty!
