Thank you! You get it! You deliver precise very easy-to-understand content, answering multiple questions as soon as I think it with no effort. Well done.
I absolutely love fixing the large frozen, boneless skinless chicken breast in my Instant Pot. The broth that is produced from the cooking process is great for making rice. One cup white rice and two cups of the chicken broth in a microwave safe covered bowl along with a slab of butter for extra flavor. Five minutes on high, remove from oven and stir to break up any clumps and return the rice to the oven for fifteen minutes at fifty percent power.
Karen! Thank you so much for this information. It's exactly what I needed!!! You're the best!
You're such a good teacher. Love that you explain why!

Thank you so much for this information. This is what I've been looking for as a beginner cook and at the same time learning how to use IP correctly. Now all the tasty chicken recipes for IP that I've been watching is much easier to understand instead of just following directions without understanding the cooking time that was used.
This is a life saver. Thank you!
Kristin sent me over, this was very helpful! Thank you 😊

Thank you! sometimes i forget to pull out chicken to thaw. this is great to know how to cook it frozen and how to thaw it!
Howdy. I'm a single busy professional and just bought a new big 8 quart Instant Pot. Totally new to this wizardry. Might you know of any great Instant Pot cookbooks? I like chicken and salmon. I've heard of people having several Instant Pots in their kitchen but am thinking of using my gas stove to steam the veggies and greens. Thanks for this great video. To the point without an obnoxious NBC intro and no stupid distracting music. I just liked and subscribed :)
Thank you so much for this instructional video, also I had no idea how to add comments or go to area when the instructor says "check Down below" I didn't know how too get down below, so many thanks
Awesome info thank uuuuuuu
Great segments!!! Would you keep the cooking liquid for making soup?
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video and the How-to chart. I’m constantly over-estimating the time needed to cook chicken in my Instant Pot. I’m still new at using it.
Great video:)
Love your video. Thank you. What type of camera are you using?
You’re awesome and so is the video. I started writing everything down before you mentioned you have it ready to print..🤦♂️
Thank you
Thanks
Thank you for the info! I have a 3 qt. Mini and, since I cook just for me, I used 1 small frozen breast. Followed the directions for shredded chicken and used chicken broth for my liquid. Wow! It was great! Thanks, too, for the info on chicken thighs! I love them more than breasts so needed that info even more! Would the same instructions work for turkey?
Ahhh...you're contaminating everything. Thank you much for your info, very helpful
Ty. I just got my IP. Haven't used it yet.
This is precisely what I needed to know for dinner tonight! Thank you!!
Great 🎥video👍
GOD🙏🙏BLESS YOU.

Thank you so much, you answered many of my questions, love it.🍽
Good point about the water coming off the chicken, never thought about that . Just asking do you have chicken and rice mushroom recipe.
Hmmmm, I’m thinking of purchasing an Insta-Pot, but not quite sure yet. So hopefully I’ll reach an answer or come closer to an answer after I watch your video. They come in two sizes. Should I get the bigger size is one question I’m mulling over.
HI I want to cook chicken legs and thighs bone in and skin on... does the rule apply to them as well about weighing them to see how long to cook in the instant pot...Thank you
Thanks for this helpful advice, especially when it comes to chicken. Now I know how to cook my frozen chicken breasts. So, my chicken breasts have been in the freezer for two months. Are they still safe to cook? Thanks
Do you add more broth when you use a 8 quart model?
My very first pressure cooker,i am very pleasant cause i bought it with the cheap price
What if I have pre-cut chicken breasts that are cut into cubes? Do I just put them in the water at the bottom of the pot and let them cook (because they will fall through the stand)? Also how long would my time be for cooking these? Thanks!
Do the times change if using a 3quart instant pot?
what do you feed your chickens massive which is not a bad thing i add
What about frozen stuffed chicken breasts from Costco? Can they be cooked in the instant pot?
The couple of times making chicken I have been disappointed in how dry the chicken breasts were!! The biggest complaint from hubby with boneless skinless chicken breasts has been how dry they are, so I thought the Insta Pot would solve that problem😩 Any suggestions ? I used chicken broth for my liquid and even tho I didn’t weigh them I cooked all three for 20 minutes. They were good sized. Thank you
My chicken always has this weird taste when I use IP. Any idea what it is? Any suggestions?
Wondering why you don't sear the fresh chicken first to get that great extra flavor? What is the texture like when you heat from frozen?
Thank you.
Thank You! for this simple formula for cooking frozen chicken breasts. Presented this way makes a lot of sense to me now. I've printed the summary chart to put in the reference section of my book for future reference. Would the same formula apply to individually frozen skinless boneless thigh pieces that Sam's/Costco sell? Would placing those larger pieces angled upward from the trivet somewhat like an inverted teepee be an alternative to stacking them? I haven't tried, but it would seem to minimize the contact at the thickest portions of them, but from the video, they appear to have cooked completely by stacking them in the criss-cross pattern.
@@karenbellessapeterse Thank you! I made a note of that and added it to the chart you provided for the breast sections.
They inject the chicken with water and other things before they freeze them .🤔 Great video.
How do you cook this when only 1/2 or 1/4 C broth for the 1/2 size portion? MY IP 6Duo requires 1.5 CUPS
I get the cook time when is frozen..but if a fresh chicken is 7 oz. How much is the cooking time
Maybe you can use that one minute to cube rule to defrost a huge block of frozen pieces, so you can get them apart?
Too Late. Mine Were Frozen Together Solid I Only Know How To Cook From Frozen After 25 Minutes On Pressuer I Opened And They Came Apart But It Wasn't Done Where They Were Stuck So I Did Another 25 min. Should I Cancel It
Where is the link for the notes?
Which is more tender....1 minute per ounce, or adding cooking time?
Please help me. Tonight will be my last time to try chicken breasts if I dont succeed.
Can I use any pressurer cooker and use this formula?
Pretty much. I have a foodi but use instapot recipes all the time. They work all the same so dont worry.
a pressure cooker is a pressure cooker regardless of the brand name. you could be completely old school and be using the stove top ones.
Thank you so much for asking this! I have a Yedi and there are no videos on it, only instant pot, so I've been wondering this as well
QUESTION: Can you stand large frozen chicken breasts on end like a rack of ribs??
👍 💪
An average amount?? Could you elaborate, please?
That is nice information to know when cooking the frozen chicken breasts. I will remember it when using my Instant Pot for cooking up chicken.
Sarah Michelle your'e awesome
My Insta pot Does not have a “manual” button
1:50 Sheesh, that was one big chicken
My chicken tenders keep coming out slightly rubbery when cooked in Instant pot. But they're always tender in the crockpot. I'm thinking chicken may not be the best for Instant pot.
How many frozen chicken breast for. A 6 quart instant pot
I cooked two 4 oz frozen breasts for 7 minutes with 5 minutes natural release and they were not completely done. Trying additional 5 and 5 minutes.... The additional time was much better.
I cant get to the one page of notes with all the information.
never mind. found it
got a little too quiet at the end, was hard to hear you.
Terrific video otherwise. very helpful.
Would like to see you demonstrate it clearer in how to cook rather than just talked ,
How would it be different if you cooked tenderloins instead of breasts?
different weight obviously. just use the math she presented. 1 minute per ounce.
So much cross contamination though.
