I absolutely love fixing the large frozen, boneless skinless chicken breast in my Instant Pot. The broth that is produced from the cooking process is great for making rice. One cup white rice and two cups of the chicken broth in a microwave safe covered bowl along with a slab of butter for extra flavor. Five minutes on high, remove from oven and stir to break up any clumps and return the rice to the oven for fifteen minutes at fifty percent power.

Thank you so much for this information. This is what I've been looking for as a beginner cook and at the same time learning how to use IP correctly. Now all the tasty chicken recipes for IP that I've been watching is much easier to understand instead of just following directions without understanding the cooking time that was used.

Howdy. I'm a single busy professional and just bought a new big 8 quart Instant Pot. Totally new to this wizardry. Might you know of any great Instant Pot cookbooks? I like chicken and salmon. I've heard of people having several Instant Pots in their kitchen but am thinking of using my gas stove to steam the veggies and greens. Thanks for this great video. To the point without an obnoxious NBC intro and no stupid distracting music. I just liked and subscribed :)

The couple of times making chicken I have been disappointed in how dry the chicken breasts were!! The biggest complaint from hubby with boneless skinless chicken breasts has been how dry they are, so I thought the Insta Pot would solve that problem😩 Any suggestions ? I used chicken broth for my liquid and even tho I didn’t weigh them I cooked all three for 20 minutes. They were good sized. Thank you

Thank You! for this simple formula for cooking frozen chicken breasts. Presented this way makes a lot of sense to me now. I've printed the summary chart to put in the reference section of my book for future reference. Would the same formula apply to individually frozen skinless boneless thigh pieces that Sam's/Costco sell? Would placing those larger pieces angled upward from the trivet somewhat like an inverted teepee be an alternative to stacking them? I haven't tried, but it would seem to minimize the contact at the thickest portions of them, but from the video, they appear to have cooked completely by stacking them in the criss-cross pattern.
