This a game changer
This is cool I guess for the one-offs but there is no way I am running a business off this because of the margins and quality. That Cotton Heritage hoodie is around $11 wholesale and Kittl charging $29.00 for the hoodie and the print is more than Printiful. The smell is the pretreatment or fixation agent that they used which will go away eventually but imagine dropshipping that to a customer they would be focusing on the smell first before the finished work which is not good. Katrina's photos were not that bad its the one pass DTG used from these print-on-demand companies use it never pops in color and is never that great or detailed for photographs regardless of the resolution and yes I have sampled most of all the popular ones. This wasn't a case of an old pic it's just the same ole process of charging you high and giving you low-quality print on decent to high-quality merch.
It's sad in 2024 that these print-on-demand companies have not gotten better than this. Fortunately, Katrina has trained us well in DIY, I could have paid $10 for the hoodie around $5 for a DTF print or $8 for a Supacolor gang sheet pressed it myself and I am at $16 done (less if you have your own DTF or DTG printer). With DIY I have my own quality control, no placement issues or dull products going out. I can retail that custom hoodie for as high as $50 making $34 profit for a better-looking product. Sorry Kittl love yall but I had to keep it realer. I will stick to using you for your great design platform but this print-on-demand service is for someone but a hard no for me. I have always said even with the bad margins if the quality was better I would have multiple brands ran off print-on-demand and would have been a millionaire by now. The quality is still not there and its been 15 yrs since I first tried this type of service and it does not look any better
I will say this a very long time ago I started my entire brand on print-on-demand. I had no equipment at all so for someone starting out it's a way to get your feet wet in business if you don't have money to spend on equipment. The problem will always be inconsistent quality, sometimes making no sense at all in alignment and placements on the garment and the profit margins ( what you charge minus what they charged you to make it) and that's where they lose me. The one thing that I can say that I liked was the speed as 5 business days ( 7 calendar days) was not bad from order to delivery as the standard average is around 7 business days. @@ELEM_Apparel I am waiting for the day a print-on-demand company comes along and steps it all the way up getting both the quality the margins right. Imagine if Supacolor did print-on-demand. POD still looks the same 15 yrs later it hasnt improved same formula low quality print high price. This will rock with the layman customers who dont know any better but the bosses aint dealing with this

Hi my Brooklyn queen. Can you tell me and other viewers why you ordered from a company when you can do that yourself as a crafter and can do this same design yourself with DTF sublimation hack?
Because it was to show and give viewers options. this is a learning platform. As stated in the video it's for those who don't have their own equipment. It wasn't for me. Thanks for watching.

Lane Seven for the full sweats suits. But Cotton Heritage is great too. They do have more color options though. Which ever one you can get is fine
