    Maybe the profit margin isn’t as big with POD but the truth is that time/energy equals money and DIY’ing everything takes SO much more time & effort. It defeats the purpose of working for yourself because you have to work so long and hard round the clock to get it off the ground and manage it. With POD, you pay a little more for the product, but with all that extra time and energy freed up, you can put that all into branding, marketing, sales, research, creating better designs, and building the business.

    How do you make a product and brand special? It seems like everyone is copying everyone right now and as soon as there is newness from anyone many other companies literally take other designs and change it up just enough so they don’t get in trouble. It can seem so discouraging to create in this market. I have seen videos of people teaching others how to just take from new brands and items they find. What are your thoughts on this? How do you leverage your items so they are the go to for your specific image or slogans?

    Do you have any leads on where to get Heat Transfers in the Southeast Asia area...I live in Cambodia.....it would be a blessing if I could get the Transfers out here like in Vietnam, Cambodia, or Thailand.....I just checked supacolor and they do NOT ship to Southeast Asia....so I will take a look at other options, but I would like to do Heat Transfers, at least at this point in my research.....of course work my way to screen printing down the road, but right now, I gotta find a way to get what I need in Southeast Asia.....its tough, all of the USA garments come from Cambodia, but they are made in Factories that were set up by foreign companies, so it doesnt neccessarily mean we have access to that stuff here.....

  • @GaryTaylorvw
    @GaryTaylorvw 2 роки тому

    HI Guys, wouldn't it be worth doing it all yourself in the beginning, then hire people once established? That way you get to train them up so you know the quality will be on point... I've been going around in circles for months now, built my own website, I have product designs, I've also invested in 2 60 inch fine art printers and 2 28 inch fine art printers, and I've built my own outside office to work from, only thing is, I'm addicted to creation, I have strong adhd traits and I can't focus on just 1 thing, at the minute i've got another 3 busineses ready to go.. theres only me though so I'm considering turning to print on demand so I can focus on my other startups, but I'm hesitant because of quality, the other businesses aren't printing focussed and apart from advertising and updating they'll pretty much run themselves, what would you do in my position? The printing business is ready to go but will require more input from me until I can employ staff, so I could earn from it now instead of holding off, but in the back of my mind I feel I should launch my other businesses first so then I can commit to my printing brand/business, interested to hear your thoughts

    • @HustleNinjas
      @HustleNinjas  2 роки тому

      Sounds like you already have your hands full so I don't see how you would be able to do it yourself during this time. I would do print on demand then circle back to hire out employees at a later time once you have sales if you really want to take it in house.

    I just started doing this like for real for real and I'm using viynl. I wanted to get into print on demand and screen printing but it seems to be so hectic with supply. What is your take on someone using vinyl at first? Not DTG or screen printing. I guess that's the step up to the transfers from like stahls.

      I did over 6 figures my first full on year selling t-shirts online and they were all heat transfer vinyl t-shirts. Just focus on what you can specialize on with vinyl that you cannot do with other production methods.

    Bruh, as always, another great video. How do you handle sales taxes in other states other than your own state. As of Oct , 2019 we as online vendors are subject to state sales tax for interstate sales once it's threshold has been met. I do know that etsy & other platforms collect for most but not for all states, which leaves us responsible.
