AC is one of the most under rated players in the game today. He's a gritty defender, he can shoot, and makes good decisions.

AC is unselfish and plays with an incredible amount of heart. Many of his contributions don’t show on the stat sheet.
We are so happy to have him on the Bulls. His energy off the bench is electric at times. A couple starters go out, he either keeps it going, or he adds a spark.
I've been a life long Bulls fan and even saw MJ at the old stadium. I'm so happy to see the bulls playing so well this year! AC is a great fit.

100% with AC here. You gotta know your worth and make a living. The bulls appreciated his talents and valued him enough to propose a contract he was happy with. And watching how fun the bulls have become this year , I guess it's a win-win for both parties here.

@@xNamsu i don't think you understand. if they sign caruso for what he asked even if it was a little less than what he wanted. lakers would have to pay a 30mil plus luxury tax. thats basically signing alex caruso for 38- 40mil (30 mil tax +8mil contract) that year. while they can probably surely afford that, but its not our money, and caruso for 40 million is excessive and hence why they didn't do it.

Just thinking about the $40 mil they are paying Westbrook that could have been used to pay 3 or 4 Caruso type of players makes me sad as a Lakers fan.

It’s a nice feeling when your contribution is not just a “nice to have”, but a “must have.” He is an integral piece on the Bulls roster to make us competitive. We want him here, but we also need him and what he brings.

Honestly, the True MVP of this season is Arturas Karnisovas. The guy turned the bulls franchise around, in such a short time, after the utter failure from the GarPax era. This guy has a keen eye for finding the right coaching personnel, unselfish all-star caliber players, and finally restored Chicago’s broken image, as now a hot destination for free agents. Caruso said it himself, perfectly. Karnisovas knows exactly what to say and has taken the toxicity out of the previous Bull’s culture/mindset.
I expect him to deliver a title in Chicago, dude is the best GM by far, he drafted jokic with the 41st pick
Well duh if you have huge cap space to spend and a big market tram with already a star on its team its easy to get those player you wanted. Atleast those year of being bottom feeders is working now.

The unsung hero in all of this is Michael Reinsdorf because he kickstarted the change by getting rid of Foreman (can't say GarPax since Paxson is somewhat still with the organization) and hiring AK...

At least with Westbrook he can carry the offense on any given night (given a WHOLE LOT of bricks 😂).
