Hi beautiful souls! Thank you so much for being here and for your wonderful comments - I truly appreciate them ❤️ I try to read and answer as many as possible, and know that I’m just so thankful that you take from your valuable time to do so ❤️ Love & light!
So nice to hear about your community activities. Beautiful garden. Thor is a cutie. When the sky falls... eat clouds for breakfast. ❤ Be well. Elizabeth from NYC.
I am so relieved you are home. You went through hell with those ivs. You are quite an incredible and strong person. All my love and prayers, Eirin. Thank you for being you.
Sorry you have to deal with all of these depressing things. May God bless you-offer your pain up to him. I know you look for the bright side. I hope you get an abundance of light! Enjoy that gorgeous garden.
Hi ! I’m writing to you from Sweden. Its a lovely garden. I have only a balcony. Hope you are feeling a little better than in the hospital. You are so fine / Lena from Sweden
Eirin I’m sending you some healing vibes and some positivity …no one can fully understand your journey but you and you have full rights to be frustrated and a bit down…you’ve had a rough go of it. I like to sit in my chicken yard close my eyes and listen to the birds, watch the hens and their antics…all my best to you!
Your mom's garden is lovely. My mom does kind of the same thing - has beautiful flower pots in the front and back of her house and a bird (and squirrel) bath. I hope your kitty is feeling better. Lovely to see you as always! :)
It's the middle of the night, can't sleep, so pls garden (pardon) my puns here 🤭 I'm head clover heels in love with your beautiful garden. What did one flower say to the other in flower choir? You're singing out of petunia. Oh I so hope you will get well soon!! Sending sleepy love from Vienna ❤
Erin, I must say that you look beautiful. The garden is breathtaking. What an amazing area to be surrounded by. I am hoping Thor gets to feeling better soon. You are in my prayers. 🙏🙏❤❤
What a beautiful garden! Thank you so much for giving us a tour, and an update on how you are doing. Your lovely smile brightened my day, and your cat is precious. Your husband is so loving and helpful, and takes such good care of you! You two make a sweet couple. We appreciate you sharing your life and positivity with us. Sending love and prayers! God bless you from OK, USA!
Ok, we have to look at the glass half full, you are home, Thor is doing as well as can be for 14, your mom has a made a beautiful garden, Steinar is a stellar camera, & even if it isn’t the best it can be , you are in your chair getting around! Sometimes we have to take the small wins! 🥰🙏
Hi Erin, I'm so sorry to hear what a rough time your going through. Flagyl is know for giving people awful nausea. I don't know if you drink alcohol, but if so I'm sure your doctors would have told you not to drink any any while your taking it. Sorry, can't help myself; I'm a retired RN, after 49 years. Sending you lots of healing thoughts.x
Glad to see that you are home from the hospital. Continued healing prayers! 🙏🏼♥️🙏🏼 Your mother’s garden is so beautiful! What a wonderful place to sit and enjoy fresh air.
The garden looks so beautiful! Thank you for the update, I love following your story. My guess is the Flagyl is causing your nausea, I’ve been on it twice and it made me feel miserable both times. I also have had a good amount of patients say the same. Sending healing prayers your direction ❤
What a very well done garden. I really love your moms selection of pots to the foliage she uses. Those rustling trees.... i agee. The sound is very therapeutic and relaxing. Thankyou for the tour. And prayers for you beatiful.
Dear Eirin! For some reason when I see you running around it makes me happy! 😁 Wow! What a beautiful garden!! Such a neat place to be in touch with nature! I'm so glad this is available for you! Very soothing as you say! Quite a sight ❤ I'll add kitty to my prayers! Hope he's better soon 🙏 Such beautiful cards and letters! I'll be adding to that! Grateful for the ideas on what you would appreciate!! Loved seeing you here, people care about you, close or far 🙂 And you're an incredibly courageous young woman with a huge heart!! ❤️🥰🤩🙏🙏🙏🌹
Oh Eirin, I'm so sorry you've continued to have pain. 😢 I do pray for you. And, your mom's garden - I was oohing and aahing as I saw it. Gorgeous! I live in the Arizona desert and our greenery is sparse. And, you have hedgehogs! I had no idea. I would absolutely LOVE to see a wild hedgehog. 😍 Anyway, hoping you keep your spirits up. God loves you! 😘
Oh how beautiful is your mums garden. Your cards and letters are so so wonderful. You are such a beautiful lady. I think of you often. My heart hurts when I hear you have struggled. Take care beautiful lady. Much love sent to you from Karen in Western Australia 🇦🇺 😘♥️🌻
Hi Eirin... I'm so happy you're home and feeling better. Thanks for bringing us along on the tour of your Mom's beautiful spring garden. 🌸🌼💐🪷 🌺🪻🌼. Please take care my dear. Sending love ❤️ and healing prayers from the USA .🇺🇸
Eirin, On the very day I watched your video it was as windy here in South Florida as it was in your backyard garden... and I do love a windy day... So I felt good that we could share that experience. If you have seen them directly, let me know as I'd like to have a glimpse of them through your eyes. Your love for Thor reminded me of my Samba Darling -- an all black shorthair and my sweetest boy -- who passed late last year. It's a very good thing that cats have nine lives as I await his return... He will not disappoint. Very fortunately, I have two other blacks, Roo Darling and Sissy Darling. Roo likes to think he is Sissy's boyfriend however Sissy has other ideas. She does, on occasion and much to Roo's delight, cuddle with him. Your mother's garden with her most beautiful apple tree is extraordinary. Perhaps there is a pie for baking in the not-too-distant future. I treated myself to a fig tree last year and look forward to lots more fresh fruits for my morning smoothies as they grow more abundantly than I could have imagined!! And just this past weekend I decided to try, once again, an herb garden -- this time in individual pots and in an area of partial shade since the Florida sun can be brutal... So far I have collected basil, thyme and lavender (I absolutely love fragrant lavender). I have been checking them more than once a day to make sure that they're happy... Too much sun? Not enough sun? and trying not to over water as this is one of my repeated mistakes which inevitably causes root rot. We'll see how this goes...💚🌱 Sending light and love to you, Steiner, your mom and sweet Thor...🦖🐬💛☀️
Hello beautiful. Your garden is very lovely. I’m sorry to say but yes the Flagyl is most likely the cause of your stomach issues it is very strong but useful medication. Augmentin is also a good medication but can cause upset tummy troubles. But you are an inspiration and must keep looking up. I pray for you always and I love when you tell us about little Thor… I have cats too. May God continue to bless you and keep you always in His perfect peace. Love, Silvia
Thank you for updating us on your condition. May 17th sounds like a fun and special celebration! Thank you both for giving us a tour of your beautifully landscaped yard and garden areas. It would be a dream to have a home like yours and your Mother’s! It is new to me to think of having hedgehogs in the garden! I do not know anything about them except to be in stories. Your cat is pretty and it’s nice to see him outside too. Bless you and much ❤️ love!
💐💜💚🩷 Dear Eirin , what a lovely video. So many things to say. The highlights are how you are so strong and able to make really good lemonade. 😊 the garden is beautiful. Thor is beautiful. Life is beautiful.❤
Erin, Absolutely Gorgeous Garden. Please give your M♡M my best regards. Erin, you get more Beautiful with each passing day. I'm sorry you are having pain from abscesses. Thank you for taking us for walk through Garden. Lovely & Amazing. ❤
Sorry that you had to stay in the hospital 😔We are very happy to be supportive. What a beautiful garden your mom has, thanks for sharing😊🦋🌷🐈🌺💜 Beautiful cards too! Remember to take some probiotics or yogurt with all the antibiotics, will help your tummy 😊
May I just say what a beautiful woman and soul that you are. I stumbled upon your UA-cam video about your accident and this was the first I had known of you. Your words about how loved ones can hurt and that we naturally take these things to heart, that has really helped. I have two teenage daughters who are lovely and I am very grateful for. But boy can they wound with their words! I am now following you. My daughter is specialising in art at school, maybe I will send you some of her work.😊 Lots of love from Suffolk in the UK, Joy and family xxxxx
Only a few minutes in and I can see that you’re really struggling. I’m praying for you right now. I hope you get some encouraging words, some encouraging news, and that your heart is comforted by God through the discouraging days of your journey. ❤️
I hope you were able to enjoy Constitution Day. Your Mother's garden is lovely! I would be using the seating arrangements to read a book. I hope your healing progresses. My heart goes out to you. 💜
So sorry you had such a traumatic stay in hospital Eirin hope you are feeling better now....Your Mums garden is lovely sooo green I look forward to seeing it all in bloom later...All the best to you and family...Hugs from Dawn.❤
Hi Eirin, I’m relieved to see you home. It’s the best place to be when you are feeling down to have your home comforts around you. I do believe you will turn the corner and your challenges will be reduced and less burdensome to you. Your garden looks beautiful and it was lovely to see you in the sunshine. I love the wind! I’m not sure why, but at times of stress or sadness I find peace in the wind. You are an inspiration Eirin and it’s ok to get tired of it, but remember tomorrow is a new day. 🌞❤️
Augmentin is heavy duty-hope you can eat yogurt or take probiotics with it. I know what you mean about when things go well, you kind of expect something bad to cancel it out, right around the corner. Not sure how to tackle that except to stay in “one day at a time” mode. Loved the garden tour!
Hi Eirin, I’m happy you posted. I’m so sorry with everything you are going through. I hope the injections continue to help, Thor. Your Mum’s garden is beautiful, what a peaceful place to go and sit. I remember that plant outside your bedroom window. I think it was a rhododendron because you showed it when it was in bloom. I hope you are able to continue to tolerate the antibiotics. I know I do not do well on Flagyl. Make sure you take probiotics every day 🥰 Continued prayers for you ❤️🙏🏼❤️
I wish there was "smell-a-vision", I would love to smell the flowers. Thank you both for being gracious host and hostess. Much love and many prayers for you. God's love is with you always.
Tell your mom that her garden is gorgeous and always a work in progress bc that’s how nature is. It looks amazing and I love the orange fabric furniture, water feature frog and kitty. Your poor fur kid is saying he’s sick so he can go to any hospital visits with you lol. Total faker! (Kidding) but yeah he probably has arthritis and hopefully nothing more than that. I always worry when my fur baby is at all under the weather. So cool that you got so many really nice cards! You look like you are on the verge of a full on meltdown so please just accept my shoulder and a hug and some understanding that life just is really hard right now and there’s so much going on. Also I went thru two months of antibiotics a few months ago and they wreak havoc with both pain and depression so what I learned was just to roll with it and allow yourself to hunker down and if you feel sad it’s ok and pain itself is draining both physically and emotionally. Your tour was super nice and I hope you got a little lay down after being up and rested. You’ve been thru a lot and your body is processing the antibiotics and all the emotions from what’s been going on and what’s to come. Don’t get mad at yourself if you have really low days and days you just are tired, grumpy, sad and kind of pulled inwards. Sometimes we have to do that to get thru. I have to tell my caregiver that I am in higher pain so she understands I’m not myself and need time to just deal with it. She doesn’t understand but she still will give me a bit more slack. I think your window flowers were waiting to bloom until you got home also. 😊 Hang in there girlie pie. Your crap pile overfloweth but also you are surrounded by love and support even if you have to feel isolated and alone. I get it. You have a rich online life and friends far away and in person your mom and Steinar and kitty but then it’s just really hard to have an in person social life. Are there any suport groups at the hospitals near you or anything that you can attend either in person or even in virtual? Try hard to not let that doomful feeling of the other shoe dropping from swallowing you alive. I have it too and for my own reasons and it’s sometimes hard to dig out and just see any good things. I wish I could hop a plane and go sit with you and just talk and hang out together lounging in our comfies and commiserating as well as trying to come up with things we can plan that might be fun. Hard when you have a “small world” as my friend tells me I’m having now. I hate that term actually and find it condescending. It magbe true but like not really helpful to be reminded how limited it is and all the great things others have sometimes. For now just give yourself some room to feel your feelings, heal your body with the antibiotics and we will count our blessings that you didn’t have to have a surgery to have that abscess drained! You really lucked out there getting a break from a nasty procedure. For now I hope the fistulae will close but if not we will walk thru that also. The only thing that keeps me going some days is to just say I’m only taking on today or even just by the hour or minute. It’s a rough year for you so far and we can’t predict the future other than your big surgery but for now let’s just stay in the summer and enjoy the wind in the trees and all. Maybe you need the water feature just outside your window or another one for the sound effect and need to try to record the leaves in the trrr sound or find one similar to help you remember there is life you can enjoy outside of this long list of to do’s with your health issues. Make sure you try to take a little moment daily or more if you can to do something fun and to breathe in and out deeply and drink tons of water and rest. I know the fatigue was brutal with the antibiotics too so you maybe feeling worse bc of all the stuff but just that you are extra tired also. When I get out I will try for more pics for you. I got to see the Aurora for the first time ever on Friday and that gave me some dopamine boost that was so very needed. My fave thing to do if I’m not UA-cam watching in tired days is making pin boards on Pinterest. Do you do this? Anyways. I could keep writing but wanted to cheer you on. You can do this! You are worth fighting for and your life is very worth your having a break from all of this medical misery. Have you ever tried the projector from your phone that will project on a white wall or ceiling. Might be fun to make your own movie theater to have a larger image to watch while resting. Oh also I talked to my mom last night who ks still new to her wheelchair and she said she sits and the gel raises behind her butt and at the back of it so it’s an uneven surface. I need to find her a new and more appraise seating pad. We talked for moms day which was bittersweet bc she’s so unwell but she and I still talked for ages. I was thinking of you when talking abt the pads and told her she needs a clip on wheelchair table, cup holder and a few other things to make her life easier. She’s got dementia so sometimes making changes is impossible with her and I’m across the country so it’s hard. Anyways hang in there and know I’m over here going GO EIRN for at least being home and up and in the garden even if it was painful. Here’s hoping the pain will chill out some after the antibiotics are done and a little time to process them out of your body. My current accomplishment has been finally switching my winter clothes to summer clothes but I have a ton of things I really need to get rid of and replace. Also went to the pool once and otherwise nothing worth sharing. Still fatigued and started new antidep to help with a bunch of things. Stay tuned. Also starred a very restrictive nutrition plan to help lose weight given by my doctor at bariatric clinic. Ugh for living on protein shakes and bone broth and supposed to drink 64 oz of fluid a day. I’m floating away. Ok I will let you go. Much love from Amy and Ellie ❤
Thank you! ❤️ I haven’t looked into support groups yet 😊 I only use YT, no other social media, but Pinterest boards do look fun 🌸 Best of luck on your meal plan 🤩💖🙏
Thanks for the garden tour, it's beautiful. I love my garden but would adore a bigger one like yours! Do hope your little cat soon gets better. She's gorgeous . Hedgehogs I adore them!🦔 Great you have them visiting. Sadly we see very few where we live in the UK. So sorry you are still battling sores. I think you are a brave, strong and an amazing soul. Looks like you have a supportive and loving partner to be by your side. Sending love xxxx❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Eirin ☺ So good to see you home and out in your lovely garden soaking up the ☀️ sunshine! It put a smile on my face 😊 Youre so beautiful inside and out. Hang in there sweet friend! Praying the Lord will uplift you and strengthen you in body and spirit! Hi to Steiner 👋 and Happy Birthday to your fur baby! 🥳 That's so cute about the hedge hogs! We dont have them where I live, but we do have raccoons. Last summer a couple of them came right into the house through an open door and helped themselves to the cat food 😂
Your mother's garden and so beautiful. Anyone would love to have it and be proud. ❤ I just started following you a few days ago. You are a superhero and such an advocate for people who have spinal cord injuries. You give them so much hope. Have a lovely day ❤
Your mum keeps a beautiful garden, I hope she is doing well. Thor is gorgeous, my sister’s cat Jep has shots now for arthritis as he struggles a little to walk and jump but is not in pain. Sending healing love to you ❤
Hello my angel. So sorry 😢 you are having so many difficulties lately. You are earning your wings. Mom’s garden is lovely and the sitting area is beautiful. Such a nice place to relax and heal. My cat was the exact type, he looked just like yours. I loved him so much for 17 years. Still praying daily for you. Love ya.
Your home and your mom's flowers and trees are gorgeous. I remember when you should it last summer. all the wonderful colors were breathtaking. I'm so glad you are home again and can enjoy being outside. You seem to happy out there. Big hugs to you!!!
Beautiful home and garden. Your Mom definitely has a green 💚🍏 thumb 👍. My Mom used to grow roses 🌹 and 🌷 tulips in our backyard. All of you have a Great Sense of design.
A few years back I had a surgery and ended up with Augmentin. That antibiotic made me violently ill. Nausea. Headaches. I just felt terrible during the whole time I was on them. I am so sorry you have been facing these setbacks. You are in my prayers. God is able. Sending you a warm hug and encouragement your way. Blessings dear one. 🫶💝🕊️
Sending you so much loving, healing thoughts. You have had so much to deal with but having your husband and your sweet little kitty will go a long way in comforting you. Your mum's garden is so beautiful, I can imagine the haven it must be when you are able to sit outside and appreciate all of nature. You are doing so well, keeping us updated and letting us share a little of your life. I really hope that extra sweet glass of lemonade is just waiting round the corner for you. Lots of love, Kathleen xx💕💕
I'm glad that you were able to get home. Antibiotics are so helpful to saving lives but they also really make people feel so cruddy. 💜 I always end up with digestive problems, nausea, and fungal infections afterwards.
Hon,sending you empathy, you've been through rough times. I just broke my ankle a few days ago. Cant put any weight on it,surgery coming up. I have been thinking how hard it is, so many with health issues. You are strong. Im already anxious and depressed. Your place is beautiful. Hopeing you find strength and beauty with nature. Much love❤
Wow, you’re Mom’s garden is just so lovely and peaceful! 🪴👨🌾🏡🌸🌼🌷🌳The flowers are so pretty and that japanese maple - just love it. I love the home exterior as well. Thank you so much for sharing - I’ll likely watch this many times over. I understand the feeling of expecting something good and getting disappointment - it can be a huge test of our strength I think. I often wonder why….if it’s God or the universe or energy. But ultimately, we all just want things to go smoother - and I know they will for you. Because you find the beauty in life constantly and you share it with us! You are both very special people & seem to be the sweetest couple. I truly love how you are with each other - you can see the love and happiness for each others joy. 💙 That’s everything.
Your triggers will settle down as you get back into a routine and live in the moment. I’ve found that life tends to move in waves….up ‘s and down’s but you know this. That garden is spectacular! Thanks so much for sharing your life and home. I love cats but am allergic.
Such great cards. And how lucky you are to have such a great house and such a great husband!! I would spend so much time out there in the garden. ♥ Best wishes to you both as always from us (we?) tornado-dodgers in Prairieland Illinois. 🌪😘
I'm so glad you are at home and have the chance to sit. The garden tour was absolutely stunning, how beautiful it is and so well maintained.
Great imformation... eating Greek yogurt everyday is very beneficial health wise... with antibiotics and just as a daily. 😊
My daughter is specialising in art at school, maybe I will send you some of her work.😊
Lots of love from Suffolk in the UK, Joy and family xxxxx
A lot of appreciation also for your husband who takes all those videos and assist you with your life. You are great, man! 💓💛
Augmentin is heavy duty-hope you can eat yogurt or take probiotics with it.
I know what you mean about when things go well, you kind of expect something bad to cancel it out, right around the corner. Not sure how to tackle that except to stay in “one day at a time” mode.
Loved the garden tour!
keep on fighting, you are becoming very strong and we admire you for being such an inspiration❤❤❤
Make sure you take probiotics every day 🥰
Continued prayers for you
❤️🙏🏼❤️
Such a beautiful smile you have in the garden! I’m sorry for your pain… 🌺
Much Love and Prayers Eirin🙏🌹💝Your Mother's garden is Heavenly ✨🕊️ Thank you for sharing with us!!!
😇🌞💓
Curcumin help my dog with his pain. It is the active chemical in the root turmeric. 👋🏻😊
I like Froggy’s water sound.
Your mother’s garden is beautiful.
Sending you love ❤🤗🙏💐💐💐💐💐
I wish there was "smell-a-vision", I would love to smell the flowers. Thank you both for being gracious host and hostess. Much love and many prayers for you. God's love is with you always.
You're so precious! God bless you.
So nice to see you up. I’m praying for you and Steiner. ❤
Hang in there girlie pie.
Your home is so beautiful- sending prayers & love & hugs
I hate that you have pain. You’re a beautiful soul.
I love to watch the pigeons do their aerial performances. People call them flying rats, but I think they're wonderful.
Hi Eirin ☺
So good to see you home and out in your lovely garden soaking up the ☀️ sunshine! It put a smile on my face 😊
Youre so beautiful inside and out. Hang in there sweet friend! Praying the Lord will uplift you and strengthen you in body and spirit! Hi to Steiner 👋 and Happy Birthday to your fur baby! 🥳
That's so cute about the hedge hogs!
Have a lovely day

Beautiful home and garden. Your Mom definitely has a green 💚🍏 thumb 👍. My Mom used to grow roses 🌹 and 🌷 tulips in our backyard. All of you have a Great Sense of design.
I missed what happened to your beautiful baby ~ Thor. He is so adorable. I hope he will be ok! I love cats. I have 2.
He started limping one day, without seeing injured, so now he walks like that - likely due to age ❤️ Thank you 🥰😻
A few years back I had a surgery and ended up with Augmentin. That antibiotic made me violently ill. Nausea. Headaches. I just felt terrible during the whole time I was on them. I am so sorry you have been facing these setbacks. You are in my prayers. God is able. Sending you a warm hug and encouragement your way. Blessings dear one. 🫶💝🕊️
Lovely lovely yard.. home sweet home.. praying for you.. May your spirit be lightened..
Ah, yes, the fungal infections - always a fun treat 😓
Love and prayers for you, my friend ❤
Hon,sending you empathy, you've been through rough times. I just broke my ankle a few days ago. Cant put any weight on it,surgery coming up. I have been thinking how hard it is, so many with health issues. You are strong. Im already anxious and depressed. Your place is beautiful. Hopeing you find strength and beauty with nature. Much love❤

Thanks for the spring tour. It's a beautiful garden. Peaceful and serene. 😂
You have a beautiful garden! That must provide some respite when you are feeling down.
That’s everything.
"When a man loves cats, I am his friend and comrade without further introduction" ~ Mark Twain 🖤🤍
So many love you Eirin. I am one of the many. ❤
Hi, Eirin. You were on my mind so I came here to see if you’d posted recently. It’s always good to hear your voice and I enjoyed the garden tour.
I'm so glad you are at home and have the chance to sit. The garden tour was absolutely stunning, how beautiful it is and so well maintained. I pray that you will soon find relief from your pain and that your health will be good for a long while! You are such a sweet lady and so deserving of much happiness!
