Awesome idea and cool video, thanks! As a female viewer I was a little disappointed there weren't more women with ADHD mentioned, just 1 among 14 men - Simone Biles. Yes, Emma Watson is in the thumbnail, but then why not highlight her successes? She´s an actress and a former United Nations Goodwill Ambassador.
The list goes on: Cara Delevigne (actress and model), Britney Spears (Singer), Solange Knowles (singer, songwriter and activist), Karina Smirnoff (5x US National Champion), Paris Hilton (singer), Zoe Deschanel (singer and actress), Lisa Ling (famous journalist), Jessica McCabe (Ted Talk speaker, has a YT channel called "How to ADHD" with great resources), Cammi Granato (Olympic hockey winner), Mel B (Scary Spice from the Spice Girls), Erin Brockovich-Elis (legal clerk, environmentalist), etc...
And historical women: Agatha Christie (author of Death on the Nile and Murder on the Orient Express), Joan Rivers (TV hostess)...
It would be immensely encouraging to see a video highlighting women with ADHD and their successes too! Keep up the great work, I'm a fan of your channel.

Sorry for taking so long to reply to this! Thank you for your comment on this, that is definitely something I want to do a better job at going forward! When I was making the video originally, I was just so excited about these heroes of mine, that also had ADHD that I wasn’t in the mindset of showing equal representation. And thank you for listing all those influential women who also have ADHD, I’ll have to make a part two to this!

Wow, this is super interesting! Love how open you are in sharing your experience with ADHD and shining a positive light on it. Im sure you will be able to help a lot of people through it. Crazy that MJ had ADHD as well, I always thought his ability to focus was one of his biggest keys to success. Glad we came across your channel form Matt's slack community- keep up the great work and excited to see you grow 😁💛

Everything you just said in the intro is exactly why I searched this video up!! I truly feel as though I have potential to be capable, intelligent, and academic, but because of my diagnosis I feel a little intimated to even try…

Saw your post in Slowgrowth Slack. Great Job. My step-son has ADHD and it is always so great to learn about people living in a similar experience. You are exceptional no matter what.

Thank you for doing this. I agree that most online content seems to focus on the negatives, and it is overwhelming and depressing. It's important to read positive stories too.

I was undiagnosed until age 33. I struggled academically and was discriminated against proffessionally. I was diagnosed with ADHD, primarily inattentive presentation and have been on stimulants now for a few months. It has been a challenge, the struggle is real.

The stories of successful ADHD are very inspiring, especially when you just know that you are ADHD and you see that many people with ADHD suffer because of it

Having ADHD is definitely a hard life. It’s damn hard. Especially in this economic climate, working 12 to 14 hours a day paying off rent and bills. Who with ADHD has time to do the things that you would love? Maybe having ADHD is just in unfulfilled desire for the things that can never be reached. Maybe we just have that desperate desire to master the things that we have always wanted but never could. Being normal doesn’t seem all that bad, the bricks of burden on the shoulders feel all that more heavy if you ask me

3:34 Actually Bell only got the patent for an invention he more or less stole from Johann Philipp Reis (a German inventor). He did improve a few things but the simple concept and the first telephone weren't invented by him
