I am a supporter of Hiroshima. The J-League has its various challenges, but I really like this league. In other leagues, the championship is usually contested by only a handful of clubs. However, in the J-League, there are 7 to 8 strong clubs, giving many teams a chance to win the title. In fact, in cup competitions, there have even been instances where second-division clubs claimed the championship.
I managed Ehime FC in FM24, who were in J3 at the time. I started with no coaching badges or attributes, but I took them all the way to J1 and won the J League three times before leaving to continue my journeyman save. I had a blast playing in the Japanese leagues-it's such a fun and unique footballing environment.
What he misses out about the Zerbia manager is that he isn’t some random ordinary high school sports coach. Kuroda Gou revolutionized Japanese high school football, formed one of the most elite, dominant and unbeatable teams in Japanese high school football with almost consistent Top 4 finishes for years with multiple victories. He has developed a huge amount of talent which are current J League stars.
Interesting fact about Machida Zelvia manager, Go Kuroda, this season is only his second year as professional football manager, before this he was a coach and teacher for Aomori Yamada high school for 28 years.
Went to Tokyo this summer and watched Tokyo Verdy, I instantly fell in love with the club and they went on to become 6th as a promoted team even beating their rivals Tokyo FC in the table, they had a crazy season
The funniest part is that there is a manga about a fictional analogue to Verdy suddenly rising from being relegation scrappers to becoming title contenders thanks to a new, incredible manager
I also went to see Tokyo Very but i did it in November and they played againts Kawasaki, lost 4-5 but the atmosphere was great and had a lot of fun in the non assigned seats
Was at the Vissel Kobe game. It was glorious to see my new club win their second title and it was a brilliant game as well. Brought friends, some of whom it was their first time watching a game, and converted them to the sport
My interest peaked after reading Giant Killing and now I have been supporting Marinos for almost 3 years. So great to see this league get some attention!
I started a Matsumoto Yamaga save on FM24 and took them back to the J1 league. The number of hidden gems from Asia that i would not have known is unreal.
Frontale fan here. After the title race a few years ago it’s time to get back on track and becoming a title contender again. Despite the 8th place this season it was exciting to watch the games and title run between the contenders 💯⚽️
Yes! I've been catching games on UA-cam for awhile now. I had some friends that were Japanese exchange students in college and I always enjoyed chatting with them. And they even talked me into playing some soccer with them in real life. Pretty fun. And one of them would always talk about the Urawa Red Diamonds, who are his favorite team. So yeah I got pretty interested in the J-League because of that. Even bought the last FIFA game that had the J-League just so I could enjoy it myself. Ha ha.
I'm a Machida fan from the U.S. and was lucky enough to be able to watch the final game of the season at Kashima. Sad to see them lose but still an amazing season for their first ever in the top flight. FORZA MACHIDA!!!!
I saw Machida Zelvia in the national stadium when I was on my trip to Japan last spring. As a Dortmunder who enjoys watching football as a neutral spectator, I somehow put it on my to-do list. I had actually wanted to see a Sanfrecce Hiroshima game, but I caught a cold that week. Michael Skibbe was coach at Borussia Dortmund, which is now active in Hiroshima. The home game between Machida Zelvia and Vissel Kobe was held in the large national stadium by the Japanese Football Association and it was cool. It was far from full, but the atmosphere was good.
I'm supporter of SAPPORO (hometown is HOKKAIDO). There is many delicious food in HOKKAIDO! I hope you come to HOKKAIDO when we have a game in SAPPORO city! Our football is very interesting, aggressive and challenging!
Ngl I almost was chronically addicted to J. League during the pandemic (2021 & 2022). Since then I became an Urawa Rede supporter from Lisbon, Portugal of all places. Love the league, it's history, unpredictability, and of course japanese football culture. A true role model that many countries should look up to. Need to get back on track once the league starts again, I haven't paid much attention since Urawa won the ACL.
you should talk about brazil`s serie a, the last libertadores champions (south america`s international) was fighting a relegation battle and was only saved in the last round of the season
I was just WAITING for someone to make a J league video, it’s a league i’ve found super entertaining, and the fact that it’s available on youtube makes it even better because you don’t need to pay some subscription or pirate the game to watch it. If you ask me, this will become a top 10 league before saudi league or mls. Even though (from what i’ve seen) saudi league’s big 4 and mls have better teams, this league is more competitive.
Im following the j league since this season and actually machida zelvia is a great underdog club from Tokyo promoted from j2 to j1 league finished 3rd and qualified for next season's ACL elite can you believe it yeah you can't 📈
I'm a Machida Zelvia follower because i'm a Lyon fan and they have a partenariat (Friendly) with Machida they exchange Academy player and work on the development of players
I want to watch J.League, but unfortunately where i'm from (Argentina) games start around 3-5 a.m., too early. Unless there is some way I can watch full game replays, I can't watch it 😢
I know some J-League games are streamed on UA-cam on the J.League International channel. Im not sure how long full games stay up but you should get a solid 48 hours to watch them in full.
Exactly. Only Kashima Antlers are constantly in top 5. Rest of them have possibility of championship, and relegation. ex: Gamba Osaka: Long time strong team& 3rd place in 2011→2012 Relegation to J2 →2013 J2 winner→2014 J1 winner & two tournaments
Some players, such as Hulk, grew up in the J.League and joined the Selecao. There were also legends such as Zico, and Pele is also famous for being a J.League fan🎌👍🇯🇵
as others mentioned the j league international youtube channel shows games every weekend, with english commentary too! Machida Zelvia get to continue the dream next year by being in the asian champions league 👍
You should do the Greek Super League of 23-24. PAOK got the title after being -9 points from the top with 4 games to go, against the other 4 strongest greek teams (AEK, Olympiakos, Panathinaikos, Aris), with the final game being away against their all time rivals Aris. It was one of the craziest results I've seen in football. Some of the matches were crazy, like a 3-2 comeback against AEK, which was then 1st and a 1-2 away against Aris.
Haha, you mean you people never played J-League: “Perfecto Stryker”! On the Nintendo 64? No wonder. Nagoya Grampus 8 was OP. 😂😂😂 Think that was Wenger’s team before Arsenal actually.
why not? Some players, such as Hulk, grew up in the J.League and joined the Selecao. There were also legends such as Zico, and Pele is also famous for being a J.League fan.
Sadly J-League used Indonesian Players as Marketing tools for their Social Media.. and know Tokyo FC wants to buy another Indonesian player.. I doubt the would let him play probably just another 😢 bench warmer
It wasn't a marketing stunt. Arhan just wasn't at the level, every time he played he looked like one of the worst on the pitch. That's why he's not getting minutes in Korea either (not even on Suwon's bench recently).
i love the fact that they stream some games on youtube. been watching the jleague for a couple of years
this info worths a lot, thanks.
They even stream on tiktok sometimes, it's so random
Best commentators too
Yea, I only learned this fact recently. I'm absolutely watching this league every week.
A-League also

Yes. Unlike Premier League where chances to see multiple clubs fighting for EPL title are very rare. At most usually only 3 or just 2.
Wigan won the English league Cup fairly recently
I managed Ehime FC in FM24, who were in J3 at the time. I started with no coaching badges or attributes, but I took them all the way to J1 and won the J League three times before leaving to continue my journeyman save. I had a blast playing in the Japanese leagues-it's such a fun and unique footballing environment.
the best thing about the J-league is that they have a channel specifically catered to the English speaking audience. greatly appreciated.

黒田監督と町田ゼルビアは本当に素晴らしいチームだが、日本のJリーグファンではそういった新しい風を嫌う風潮があるので、そう言った面倒くさい人たちから彼らがひどい言葉を浴びせられています。悲しい事です。
Vissel Kobe in 2024/25 J LEAGUE doing like 2012 Manchester City.

Guess what, Coco Hayashi, Moeka Koizumi and Aguri Onishi are also watching J LEAGUE 2024/25 FINAL MATCHDAY, especially from Machida Zelvia.
My interest peaked after reading Giant Killing and now I have been supporting Marinos for almost 3 years. So great to see this league get some attention!
Yokohama Marinos back then was also as impressive as 2024 Machida Zelvia.
I started a Matsumoto Yamaga save on FM24 and took them back to the J1 league. The number of hidden gems from Asia that i would not have known is unreal.
Yep. Yamaga's save is top class.

Brilliant video man ⚽️
Lived in Sapporo so I supported Consadole but I’ve always purple and I always start my character on be a pro with Sanfreece.
J-League alone in 2024/2025 is way more intense than LaLiga 2023/2024 and 2024/25.

So Sanfrecce had first place in hand late in the 2024 season only to relinquish? Just like the Carp in the collapsed in NPB? 😭

J Leagues is sick not gonna lie
All the clip he used for Hiroshima are so old

I been watching J-League for past 12 years.
I think j league is most difficult to predict the winner in the world.
Exactly. Only Kashima Antlers are constantly in top 5. Rest of them have possibility of championship, and relegation.

Gamba Osaka:

problem with the J league is the games are at 4 am in the east coast US.
