He is. This really reminded me of when I ran into him at Fashion Show Mall in Vegas during FIBA 2007. He was at a sporting goods store buying a whole bunch of hats. Had a wad of 100s and was just counting them down for the purchase.
Gave me an autograph and everyone who saw him there pictures, with a smile. I didn’t have anything on me (no pen or paper), so the store guy gave me a small piece of notepad paper behind the counter. I remember Melo telling me the paper was hella small, so he freestyled cursive that was his initials 😅
