The Love Boat theme song was on the top 40 for a while. The Chips theme didn't do so well. But still a great piece of music from my childhood.

I grew up in late 70s and 80s in the heart of Hollywood ,Losangeles, San Fernando valley Santa Monica Sunset Blvd Melrose blvd Highland ave I grew up on Mccadden place and Fountain ave it was diverse for me Chips is one show I’d see on tv coming from school I liked it cause it was authentic stunts were crazy but there was no photo shop like they do today with some programs and films

It wasn't uncommon for 12" versions such as this to alter the tempo and to stick a load of filler in the middle.
I remember dancing to this 12" version in our local disco back in the late 70s.I was a big fan of CHiPs back then.
