Thank you! I did this with my 2019 rav4 hybrid. Found the battery in the back area, disconnected the 12v battery’s negative connector only, left it alone for 90 minutes, reconnected the battery… and it was fixed!
THANKYOU SO MUCH! I was so annoyed that my right speakers and voice diction wasn’t working. Not to mention not being able to use my phone on apple car play. Did everything in this video and we back to normal! You are a true hero :)
Thanks Nazarettos! and my landlord thanks you mostly! Your video just helped save her $1,500 they wanted to charge her for replacement at the dealership. She finally agreed to let me give it a try and it was so easy for my part. Sure enough it worked. I could see it working in the service menu and we tested calling one another and her call was super strong both hearing me and I could hear her super well. She called one more person just to be sure and it worked great. I think I will soon get a free steak dinner lol. Cheers and Thanks!!
Thank you! Worked on my 2019 Toyota Avalon Hybrid Limited! It's been driving me nuts for over a year...I almost gave up on it. I had tried 10 mins previously, but seems 30 was the trick.
🎯Thank you Nazarettos! This totally worked for my with my 2019 Rav4 Hybrid (although our battery is in the rear of the car). Just saved me $600 which is what my local Toyota Dealer wanted to charge to replace the whole microphone unit/part. They didn't even try troubleshooting. Really appreciate you sharing these insights!
It happened only once on my Rav4. I bought it new in 2019. I also had problem with my radio, my preselected contacts would disappear from the screen, happened every few months. Dealer installed new radio and all great.
Hi! Excellent video! I have a RAV hybrid 2024 I live in South America and the phone have the same problem. The radio doesn’t have buttons is touch screen, do you know in this new radio how to fix this ? Thanks
I have tried this twice now but hasn’t worked. I disconnected both negative and positive terminals, first for 30 mins and then for 5 hours but didn’t work. Am i supposed to disconnect only the negative terminal? Or should it have worked by disconnecting both? I have a 2022 Rav4 Hybrid. Thanks
In the hybrid version, the battery is in the back compartment, and there's a hybrid battery and a 12v battery. Which one should this apply to? This issue with the microphone happened to me also. 2019 Hybrid version. Also, is it safe for me to do that to the battery in the rear without an electrocution risk? Thanks
i have red light near the sos button when the engine's works or ignition is on. And does it connected with the remote start? because it`s not working now (when pressing 3 times lock button on my key)
