Part Blue
Thanks Rob! I'm not sure if I'll ever top this trip!! Looking forward to some AZ action this year!!!
Still hoping for a Smetlogik/LouB747 collaboration this year… Great video btw, Lou!!!
@@catbirdherping9857 me too!
@@loub747 I feel that, just keeping things under wraps for now so people don't know snakes come out in the spring here. 😆
You are an amazing person and it was so much fun herping with you!🐍
The pleasure was mine. I look forward to meeting up again in the future.
The first few seconds of video was totally unexpected. Priceless! 🤣🤣🤣
It's funny I never noticed the monkey business, even after editing. Not until the comments! Good times!!! Lou B
Best intro ever! Especially because you didn't realize it happened, haha! That blue coral was stunning! Awesome episode, Lou!
Thanks Scott! It wasn’t until your text that I noticed it. Not even in editing ! Monkey fever!
@@loub747 i could only imagine what kind of funny editing you may have done with it had you noticed it 😜
@@herpinghighlights7144 I may have to make a short or something with it.
I totally love this video!!!❤ So much nature!
thank you for bringing us along these beautiful journeys
The pleasure is all mine. Sharing the experience is what it’s all about. Lou B
Outstanding video! So many cool snakes, the blue was spectacular. It looked really fun to be part of a group to share such a successful night. BTW, I really dig all the other critters, frogs, lizards, butterflies, it's all good.👍
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it Mike. Looking forward to seeing a few in Boston! Lou B
Always nice to see a blue coral
What's up my friend. That it is. I'm gonna sign up for one of your trips someday! Lou B
that's one heck of a crew you got there. Living it up right on the road in broad daylight 🤣
Yeah, I never noticed the monkey sex until I started editing the video.
Lovely very beautiful snakes
Thanks. Such a great trip! Lou B
Wow... and I would have been happy with the flying lizards! Awesome night and awesome finds (especially the blue coral) Cheers!
Yeah, the flying lizards were really cool! The Blue Coral sorta stole the show though. It's gonna be hard to top this trip! Lou B
They (Draco) always remind me of the dinosaurs Dilophosaurus as shown in Jurassic Park (I know, they made up so much with that dino for movie reasons).
Amazing finds! Many cool snakes and even the rare Cinnamon Bush Frog! I've never been lucky enough to see any of them, not even the relatively common Wagler's Pit Viper...
Also, if you aren't already aware, the lizards you saw were Black-Bearded Gliding Lizards. The one without the "black beard" was a female while the other ones were males. I've never seen them extend their gulars before, so that was cool too
Wow cool! Great video as always. Thanks Lou 👍🏽👍🏽
Thanks so much. Not sure I'll be able to top this trip! Lou B
@@loub747 Aww...you already did, Lou. I'm happy enough to see your vids. Awaiting for the next one. Thanks for your effort anyway. Cheers! 👍🏽👍🏽
Thx for posting Lou!
The pleasure is mine!
Wow, that was amazing, so many beautiful animals and invertebrates.
Yeah, got so lucky on this trip! Not sure I'll ever top it. Lou B
No video is complete without fornicating monkeys in the opening sequence.
I love Singapore. It's the only place I've visited where locals go to the airport for a day out. Who can blame them it's magnificent.
Yeah, I never even knew that happened! Not until reading the comments! Lou B
Nice assortment of critters, Lou! Another thoroughly enjoyable video - thank you for your effort!
Thanks so much. The pleasure was mine. Lou B
Thanks so much. The pleasure was mine. Lou B
Keep em coming lou, always love to see the herp videos and your stoke for any snake!
Thanks! This trip will be tough to top! Lou B
Very nice video and some awesome species.
Thanks so much. Not sure I'll be able to top this trip! Lou B
That Blue Coral!!!!
Yeah, such a great moment! Lou B
Great episode. Awesome editing Lou.

Thanks so much. Had so much fun on this trip.
interesting reptiles, insects, etc as always. thx for bringing it to us.
Thanks! It’s my pleasure. Lou B
Whoa.
Thanks for the video Lou B.
Thanks. It’s my pleasure. Lou B
I love the snakes, Shoe, but I really liked that Malaysian frog. Bad a$$ indeed!
Yeah, some of those frogs are so cool! Lou B
Amazing colors on these guys! 🐍
Yeah, hands down my favorite snake to find. Unreal in person.
Great video brother 👍. Glad to see you making videos
Thanks so much. Had fun on this trip.
Awesome Lou, thank you!
Thanks! Lou B
Blue corals are one of the few snakes in the world that actually rival Infernalis and Tetrataenia.
Definitely. I've seen all 3, and each holds it's own. Lou B
For looks (which I know are subjective), to me Blue Coral snakes take the prize. For venom though, I'll be bitten by the garters please haha!
@@Christopher_S definitely subjective, as I think the variations in infernalis alone puts them on top. I'm sure many would rather go for tetrataenia but I've found dozens in person, their reds are more orange and blue's are lighter like a sky blue. Infernalis, at least of Marin locale, have deep blood reds and neon blue's.
Lou,
The b lea Coral was amazing! Thanks for sharing bud.
It's my pleasure! Such a great trip! Lou B
Awesome video that was a beautiful snake that blue coral snake.
Thanks! Yeah, those blue corals are so unbelievable. Truly works of art!
@@loub747 another one that I like that you were able to find was that California gopher snake in San Francisco that was a beautiful snake as well. I think that's what it was called but it was one that was endangered you're not allowed to pick it up.
@@edwarde8524 yeah, the San Francisco Garter Snake. I’ll need to see another one of those!!!!
Wow! Great video as always. Thanks to your videos we will be driving down to Palm Springs in a few weeks from Utah to do some road cruising for snakes. We are thinking about doing the same trip in mid October. Are the snakes normally out on roads that time of year at night?Keep up the good work. Ron
Thanks so much. That’s awesome to hear. The road cruising season is just starting. May and June being best usually. I never do well in the fall, although I know others who do. Maybe see you on the roads this year! Lou B
@@loub747 ok thanks. I appreciate your advise. Ron
You know it’s gonna be good video when in the first 30 seconds there’s a sex scene lol
You know I had no idea that happened. Not even during editing. Only because of the comments. Too funny doc
I was so waiting to hear that song by the bloodhound gang it the opening shot😂 great video👍
Honestly I never saw what the monkeys were doing. Not when I was there and not even while editing. Only the comments! Go figure.
Your best video.
Thanks. Not sure how I’ll top this one. Lou B
Part Blue - Win! Efforts paid off...
Thanks so much. Not sure I’ll ever top this trip!
Watch those handrails along the trails- often small (male?) Waglers are only inches from your fingers. There are often 2 or 3 on the small branches just behind the andrail on that trail from the top of the Bukit Timah stairs to the summit, and along the MacRitchie trails.
I've heard that. Sadly I haven't seen one like that.....yet! Lou B
Awesome Lou I liked the flying Lizards I thought that was just a band 😂
Yeah, those lizards were crazy. I hope to video one flying someday!
Yeah the opening was cool. 😂😂😂❤. Great stuff.
Never even knew it happened until the comments. Good times my friend!
There is a big resident female Waglers or 2 down at the bottom of Bukit Timah. Walking up and down about 4 times is good for the cardio ;)
Thanks for the info. Sadly I've already left SG. Next time! Lou B
I never knew those agumbe lizards had any other color besides yellow. Definitely the one that flew at ya was a male with that chin flap. Super awesome you got to see it!
That "chin flap" that many lizards possess is called a DEWLAP.
I hope to video one flying next time! Lou B
What kind of camera do you use? Can you link it in my comment? That’d be awesome! Thanks in advance.
I mostly use a Sony AX53 camcorder. I’ve been using it for years. Love it.
7:29 that was classic.
I'll have to rewatch that part!
Look again, I think the lizard definitely was not taking a dump
Outstanding! Lou B
Long time no see bro!!!!
I've been putting out quite a few vids. Apparently they don't show up as much as before. Not sure why. Lou B
Paul McCartney wrote a famous tune about the very beginning of your video here, Lou............it's on the Beatles' White album............specifically........Why don't we do it in the road!! Jim C.
Yeah, I never actually noticed that until I started reading the comments! Too funny! Lou B
Lou! So nice to finally see a new video from you. I haven’t seen one from you in a long time!
I’ve been putting them out non stop. Glad this one made it to your Home Screen! Lou B
@@loub747 Really?!?!?! OMG, then I don’t know what’s going on. I’m subscribed to you. 🤔
@@ricardo68 thanks for subscribing. It means a lot.
Any idea what species of gliding lizards they were?
Not exactly. I'll try and find some and make another video about them soon. Lou B
Let me know when the cologne drops, I'm grabbing some
LOL. Will do! Lou B
Idk which is better, the gold king cobra or the blue coral, might have to put em both n a short to c what ppl think
Good idea. Monkeys having sex? Notice that?? I sure didn’t.
@@loub747 lol yea, herper gets video bombed by monkeys
What was the snake with the red head but it wasnt the blue coral snake
If it’s the really small snake, it’s a pink headed reed snake. The blue corals eat the pink reeds.
@@loub747 thats awesome wat do u know about the pink reed snake verry cool
where in singapore is dis place
Central area
Does Robbin have a channel?
I don’t think so. Just Instagram
Hey hey were the monkeys. People say we monkey around !
So crazy that I never noticed that!
🤣
You're right. I hate you, you are not my friend anymore. 😂
Lol, I was thinking of you guys!
Oh, no way that lizard prolapsed that hard, and you filmed it that's wicked nasty bra. 😂 wtf 😂
Lol, did you see the monkey sex in the opening shot? I sure didn’t.
😄😂🦧
What’s up with that lizard lol.
LOL, so many things in this video. I never even noticed the monkey sex in the opening shot!
WHOH What is that????????? 1:57
Flying Draco. Or gliding lizard. Super cool to see.
My man, first you showed monkeys humpin, then a lizard hump the ground lol, i gotta pause for a minute.
Yeah, I never noticed the monkeys. Not while there or while editing. Only from the comments did I notice it! Good times.
Rupert of Ruperts reptiles very recently got a wet bite from a blue coral and was able to type out a message on Instagram despite the awful spastic paralysis that was afflicting him in the ICU... or was it just pain and swelling? 😂 Nice video, mostly...the unscientific bits weren't yours...
Hey Lou. I grew up in San Clemente and live in LA. I go to riverside and borrego springs as well as Palm Springs. If you could please help with herping locations that would be amazing. I would keep it a secret and I know herping etiquette. Thanks sir
It sounds like you already know all the spots!
Hi Jesse B. Sounds like herping etiquette is a lot like trouting etiquette. But I bet Lou will generous.
I do from watching your videos and a couple other guys. I just can’t find the boards anywhere! I totally understand if they’re secret spots though
