    hi dave thanks this was great got it done not quite in your 20 mins. ;)
    when i put on the track fairings do i need to take of the block that the rubber gasket sits on to to give the fairings a bit more room and also the stock screen has the little indentions at the top but the fairing does not allow for this do i cut the fairing or is there a way around this. sorry to be a pain and i hope u know what i mean. thanks for your help.

    hi dave this is very help full thinking of having a dry run changing to my track fairings now ive got them painted just want to ask how long it would usually take u to remove the front fairings and lights. and is the light bracket just held on by the couple of bolts below the clocks as yours in this vid is broken so just like to ask.

    @irontruck You didn't miss it. Moss is being all wimpy because the wrap isn't done yet and he doesn't want to ride it until it's wrapped. For all we know the injectors are clogged cuz it's been sitting so long

    Front fairing and lights is a 20 minute job. Use Zip lock bags for parts! Mirrors first, the lights come off with the fairing - 4 bolts. The wiring has a couple of clips and everything comes off in one go. You will use the stock fairing stay (2 bolts on the steering head) unless you are using something else.

    Hi,
    After watching your videos multiple times, I feel like you are the right person to ask about this problem that i am having with my Yamaha R6 2011, 13000 Miles.
    Okay, so when i start my bike, its fires up cold real nice. After the temperature reaching 135 F, the RPM will start fluctuating. It will start bouncing like a cowgirl on steriods. After few bounces, engine will die. If i put it in gear and ride it, at low RPMs it will misfire.
    Going through the forums and videos, i ended up replacing Spark plugs, Ignition Coils, Fuel filter, changed cam and pick up sensor but the problem is still there.
    I do not know what else to look for. I need guidance about this problem. Any help is appreciated.

    Офигеть, сейчас этим мотоциклом владею я
    Теперь ездит он в России
    Такая же вмятина на баке, скол на пластике у фары, потертости на крышке генеротара и пластике, на нём все так же как и на видео

    you can remove the block but you should consider having something to stop the fairing rubbing itself in its place. If by indentations you mean the clip area at the top of the windshield, you can trim the fairing for that purpose.

    @xnifex within a week for P 2, and the wrap is selected, we just need to get it done. I will be trying to schedule that this week if I can with the "wrapper". There's a joke there somewhere.......

    My R6 just got friction plates changed now the bike shudders /vibrates when moving of when letting out the clutch. It shakes bad at that bitting point. Never did it before, it was smooth before.

      AHS Society Don't know if you ever got an answer, try the R6 forums. Or go on Facebook and join a group called, Motorcycles and parts for sale. You might get your answer there.

      I solved the problem Some crooked mechanic put cheap friction plates on the bike. I went and got Yammie plates and the problem went away immediately.

      Oh wow, that is some messed up thing to do. I would be pissed off. How are you liking your R6? What year is it?

    • @africanhistory
      @africanhistory 9 років тому

      2007, Its so beautiful you put up with everything wrong about it. I dont like the noisy clutch when you ride at low speed. It is a demanding bike which you learn how to ride. It does not do you any favors that is for sure. The low down stuff is not so good, the top end stuff is no complaints.

    • @omarosilva
      @omarosilva 9 років тому

      Hmm, my 2013 has very noisy injectors, well I being told its injectors. I'm guessing since mine is a 2013 I don't have many complaints. Flawless response no matter what the weather is like. Has good acceleration and power, I'm very happy with it...unfortunately 3 weeks yesterday I wrecked in it. And now it'll sit in the shop for a while :(
