That's terrible advice.
We are each others keeper. Some of the worse people were left to their own. This advice sounds like justification to do what you want and be accountable for nothing.
That apology took courage. Shutting down Exodus meant more. A huge donation to healthy, safe LGBTQ charities would go a long way, too.

Exactly. If you didn't have money they wouldn't help you. Lots of rich parents and rich gays were exploited. ( And also middle class and maybe poor) Today there is a free ministry called Celebrate Recovery that helps people online for free to get free from any sin in Jesus Christ.
How about refunding the money these people spent on Exodus!!!

A lot of people believe organized religion is “ bad”.
It doesn't need to shut down. There are those who would like a system to work through feelings that do not line up with THEIR Christian feelings. As long as they choose to be there, it should exist.
There is a FREE ministry called Celebrate Recovery that helps people get free in Jesus Christ from all sin. The problem is that Exodus would only help you if you pay them. That's like telling people you have to pay for tickets to go to church.
It doesn't work, that's the problem, everyone that claimed they had changed their sexuality was living a lie, it never goes away, no matter what kind of therapy you do or prayer you pray. The God that supposedly parted the red sea seemingly can't change someone's sexuality.
Just like the drug addicted and alcoholic must stop sinning and stop using drugs and alcohol even though the desire to get drunk and high lasts their whole lives. The Rich Young Ruler wouldn't leave his love of money and thingsmost won't leave their sinful actions. The desire about robbing a bank doesn't make you a bank robber. Temptation leads to sin action.

All i know is God hates sin but loves sinners. You can't be with God if you love sin. The bible doesn't list homosexuality, adultery or fornication as virtues to aspire too. I wish gays would just say they wanna live how they wish without rebuke 😕. Sinners who enjoy sin would never be at peace with God because deep down they know their behavior is reprochable.

1st off, scientists had yet to understand sexuality totally and we need to understand about God created sexuality better before we can say anything.
