Thank you for preparing this concise video. I like how you covered the essential facts and historical background about the 1982 Plebiscite and the major options of Commonwealth and Statehood status, now setting the stage for probably another in-depth video.

Hey, can u please make video about Austronesian history in Japan? Milenias ago, Austronesians from Taiwan sailed to the north, they were known as Kumaso, Azumi, and Hayato people. Those Austronesians settled on present day Ryukyu islands and Kyuushu. Japanese historians said Hayato people were so different, their customs and language weren't related to any East Asian nations such as Chinese, Japanese, or Koreans. Hayato once had war with the ruling Yamato dynasty and lost. They were assimiliated into Japanese society through mass migration and intermarriage between Yamato and Hayato people. Some say a lot of Kyuushu culture and Japanese dialects are related to Austronesians

we found that there was the world oldest Round trip voyage from our mainland, Shizuoka Japan, to a small island, Kouzushima, here. People back then (380,000years ago) were trading obsidians there.
People back then could sail from Indonesia area to Australia, Micronesian islands, Japan and could be all the way to the USA where native Americans were.
Our oldest civilization in Japan is called “Jomon era” and it lasted longer than 100,000 years without any wars. Very interesting and it’s very similar to Chamorro culture too!
