Hi Jayme. Glad to see you back on UA-cam and sorry to learn about your breakup. I started watching your videos because I wanted to get my curls back, and you helped. I’m older than you are, but have been 23 and have experienced a breakup around that time of my life. Good for you for recognizing how much of yourself that you were sacrificing for your relationship. Sometimes we minimize ourselves because we feel that is best for our relationships, best for other people. Many people go through life like that and completely lose themselves. It is hard now but will get better over time. You are young so it’s natural to love very hard. Love that you are keeping faith in God and his plan for you. Stay strong and best of luck for your auditions. Please keep us updated.

Praying for you darling. I went through a break up at (together 16-20) and again (21-25) , but all ended well, married at 27, first baby at 28 second baby at 29. We have a beautiful marriage and very blessed 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 you will get through this you have a beautiful soul. At some point dance will have to take a back seat to marriage and motherhood 🙏🏽🙏🏽
So glad you caught yourself not being happy with where you were in life. Take a lot of courage to remove anything that doesn’t make you happy. Especially when it’s those things or people you love. I wish you nothing but the best on this next chapter in your life 😊

First, I am very sorry for what you are going through. It is a loss, and a big adjustment. I pray God comforts you. He says He is close to the broken hearted. I understand in many ways. I am very loyal and my circle is small also because there are not many people who are loyal out there. You are absolutely on the right path to put it in God's hands and trust Him. He knows the plan and He has the perfect person for you and that perfect person will compliment your life and be a support to your passions, dreams, goals and callings. Never compromise being true to who God made you to be for anyone. The right person will never ask you to. The right person, will love and accept the beautiful way God made you. I know it is not easy, i went thru a breakup that tear me apart but here I am, stronger than ever and with someone who truly loves me as the Bible says a woman should be loved. So be strong and remove anything that takes away your peace. I've been watching your videos for around 4-5 years now, in fact you were one of the first curly hair youtubers that I discovered and it was even better that you were also in Australia - more chance for product reviews where the products are ones I can actually get easily lol. Jayme I’ve been following you now for the last 3 years, especially with curly girl hair advice (which has helped me immensely as I’m a 3b/3c ❤) but I can relate to you now more than ever. I broke up with my fiancé 5 months ago, knowing it was not right for me and God has a better plan. In it and with reflection I realized I was losing myself and the things I loved to do and the same as you, going fully into the relationship but forgetting about myself. Now I’m pouring my time into my art, doing things for me (like traveling and joining worship again at church ☺️) but most importantly getting back to my relationship with God. In Habakkuk 2:4 it says the righteous shall live by faith, and I am firmly believing that for both you and me God has an incredible plan for us as we learn to trust and surrender (which can be uncomfortable but we can do it!)

When I was 23 I didn’t think I’d ever find a man who was perfect for me but literally a year later I was introduced to him. I learn constantly that God is in control and he will guide your heart. Aww sorry to hear that. I actually thought you were gonna marry him, you seemed so happy and found someone of the same faith and ethnicity who was also cute which trust me isn't easy, I'm still single in my 30s because of that which is why I'm dating out, I'm getting out😅. But at the same time I don't think it's good for a woman's growth when she attaches and commits early on to a guy because I've seen over and over that young women stagnate their own lives and selves to cater to the guy which many guys expect and get resentful if she doesn't revolve her life around him. I've also seen many young couples who marry young because of religion be divorced by late 20s, can barely make it to 30. It is hard to accept God's plan, I struggle with that too but I keep reminding myself He has us all exactly where we're supposed to be in order to learn and feel the Truth.
So it does show growth if you have chosen yourself, you're still so young and have soo much ahead of you. I also keep my circle teensy tiny because as you go through life, more and more people will disappoint you, that's why older people have like 1 good friend or none lol.
