Morning Buckin, I know exactly what you mean. I said to a friend that I had in the Air Force that I did not like that he was hitting his wife. (She told me what was going on). I told him he was way better than that and I was friends with the both of them. I got the biggest punch in the face which I did not plan for! He never spoke to me again and they got divorced shortly after. She thanked me for saying something and we are still friends. She has re-married and I’m really happy for her. Had a good friend that saved me from myself when I was in a dark place and didn't realize how far down I was. He loved me enough to do that and I've lived my life trying to be worthy of that act of kindness ever since. I still miss him since his passing but I'm glad he loved me enough to be there as my true friend when I needed him, even when I didn't realize I needed him. Buckin you're amazing. Peace brother. I sometimes wonder if there isn't about 10 people that spend all their hours cruising UA-cam and just clicking thumbs down on everything without watching. I run into trouble when I'm not good at something right out of the gate, or when I try something new and it doesn't turn out perfect. Today, catching up on some videos from Buckin, he's reminded me that everyone learns, and the process of learning is a wonder in and of itself. Does my chainsaw cut at an angle right now? Sure. But if I keep at it, and keep trying it can get better! I hung an axe before finding this channel and it was a disaster. It's holding on, but it is the ugliest thing you've ever laid eyes on. Thanks to Buckin I've learned how to scrape, and check, and scrape, and check... and for my second hang I've got really nice fit on a cruiser that puts the previous handle to shame. I run into trouble when I'm not good at something right out of the gate, or when I try something new and it doesn't turn out perfect. Today, catching up on some videos from Buckin, he's reminded me that everyone learns, and the process of learning is a wonder in and of itself. Does my chainsaw cut at an angle right now? Sure. But if I keep at it, and keep trying it can get better!
I hung an axe before finding this channel and it was a disaster. It's holding on, but it is the ugliest thing you've ever laid eyes on. Thanks to Buckin I've learned how to scrape, and check, and scrape, and check... and for my second hang I've got really nice fit on a cruiser that puts the previous handle to shame.
