I'm honestly still amazed that people still buy these old Android TV box rom collections set ups figured people got more aware of this after so many keep getting thrown out there
We can always count on China to sell us boatloads of super low quality electronics and bootlegs.
The only real benefit I can see from these boxes are for people concern they get in trouble with their ISP for downloading roms in mass. They'll have to comb through every game to see if they all even work at all.

Thanks for your honousty,I had to learn in 3 months what I needed and learn software to get a Nice package of games and bring it together on my Raspberry pi 4 arcade set up.Sometimes it’s better to install a good cooling system and overcloak.But I agree even then n64 games will not run perfect all the time.

I like the “novelty” factor of these oddball “consoles” but that’s about it. I would rather softmod an OG Xbox and use that as my emulation go to.
It's not really a console, it's an android box. And to be fair if you get your own decent one instead, that can be changed obviously, and make your own build to put on it will be far ahead of an OG Xbox in every way.

Thanks 4 the video. If they r selling it for like 50 bucks then its a deal. Otherwise this is really underpowered. Most of the duplicates r for language and slim size variants. Also when one fails to load the others usually work. I like that they added vic20 and sinclair ZX80. Super console X max is still my favorite and even that has issues with some games needing more power.
I truly appreciate you showing us the real truth and obvious scam behind thess.. keeper coming until they can take at least even the most basic advice and clean up the files....

The best one I ever used was a Dell PC set up to boot Hyperspin that I bought on Ebay a while back.

The company in question is a chinese teen in his mum's 45th story shenzhen apartment buying these for $2 a pop down the street and retooling them into 'consoles' in his bedroom. The way I look at it at least people are “trying” but if it’s just a cheap cash grab that’s where I have a problem. But when I see people who are actually passionate about video games trying that’s when I give them a chance. But you have to admit it’s a tough world when it comes to expectations In people. Steam Deck has killed all my desire for emulation devices. I just keep all my roms on a NAS, mount it to my Steam Deck and I can play pretty much any game I want to play from Atari 2600 to PS3.

I hate these consoles because you have to constantly change settings and emulator cores because not all the games work right out of the box. The included controllers also are horrible.

The Super Console X King is pretty good.
After putting together Retropie images for years and perfecting gamelists and checking each game to make sure everything works great, and then seeing these rom dumps begin sold, pisses me off.
From all the unboxing videos I've seen so far of these boxes.. I've come to the conclusion to play N64 and up these boxes need a 905x3 and 4 gigs of ram as a bare minimum to play somewhat decent not perfect but decent

As a casual gamer I could understand being annoyed that the higher end games don't run to a playable state. But as someone who knows their way around emulation and what it takes to run certain systems you can't be supprised or disappointed when you know you're getting a cheapshit android box and its not competently running dreamcast' psp or n64. The real annoyance is going to be that youre paying up to have a company do what you could have done for yourself a hell of a lot cheaper. Even as a casual gamer you still have to have a have a suspicion that if you're paying a low price for something thats advertising performance above its price point that you're more than likely going to get a turd. I do agree though if Chinese sellers would just concentrate on the games it could run well and leave out the higher end stuff that would free up a hell of a lot of storage space on games that don't run which could be used on more quality ps1 titles that do. You're more Likely to get a better performing android box if it was produced in smaller quantities from a bedroom or basement business. But then the price would probably be higher to make up for the smaller amount of sales being made that's even if the seller wanted ro take the risk of selling ip they don't have the rights to

Every time I see these console with built in games don't perform very good. I think it's better to pick up a PC and buy a hard drive with a built in games. And look for a HDD that doesn't have duplicates games or download your own Roms.

This thing sells at prices starting from 70$. This is way too much for a bunch of pirated software.
Rom dump consoles are only good (good not great) for people with no roms or have no desire to learn how to make their own build...which is sad as its genuinely enjoyable.
Most people have a better emulator in their pockets. Android phone with a USB-C dock with hdmi out

I watched the whole video but I'm dumb sometimes and it just seems insane that these "companies" keep "making" these "consoles" the exact same way as the other hundreds of "companies" before them, and expecting to receive heaps of praise and purchase orders for their "effort".

Another bulshit system with crappy controllers. Show me one where all the installed games have been chosen to play well and not be unplayable like most of these budget emulation systems. Where they just slop on as many games as possible without even testing them or optimizing the emulators to play them. As most people who buy these kind of systems just want a system they can take out of the box and play.
