- I often employ a blend of 3D and 2D style, turning my 3D scenes into painterly-looking images. With the new Blender 4.0 version, there is now this super-handy new tool, called Kuwahara filter. It really improved my results in this area, so I decided to introduce you to it.

Thanks ive been looking for an anisotropic kuwahara filter rendering solution to the performance hit of acerolas kuwahara filter without a dedicated gpu for hours now and i had no idea blender 4 had this node, thank you so much!
on the right hand, blender so awesome..thanks for all tutorials
Love your content! Thanks for all your hardwork 😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉
AWESOME!!!
Awesome
If you have any plans on making heroes of bronze pt2, make the Greeks fight the Roman invaders next…
thanks for the video ! can we use the kuwahara Filter on an animation and renders each frames with it?
Yes, absolutely
What final resolution did you use to render the your film
2560x1080
And the resolution percentage was 100% right
Yes :)
can you talk about how to use photoshop’s ai tool for getting painterly results?
I will!
I am frankly not a fan. Its the worst of both worlds. Midjourney looks classy and convincing compared to these stiff "3D paintings".
You're the first person I've seen describe midjourney with those words, really.
@@spiderjerusalem8505 I am not describing it, I am comparing it. Midjourney is still better at mimicking painterly style than these stiff dolls with a filter on.
@@f4ust85, why not use Stable Diffusion then? Much better filters (in a way) there.
I also wouldn't say Midjourney is better, at least for guy in the video.
Would you really want to read something from a guy that didn't even bother to give his work a proper art? That didn't put any effort into making it? Yeah, exactly.
@@spiderjerusalem8505 thats beyond the point really - I am saying this looks unconvincing, strange and reminds you of uncanny valley - 3D dolls with smudged edged. You are acting as if rendering assets and stylizing them using compositing nodes was so much more creative…
@@f4ust85, that's true, painting over takes skill, so is making your base render appealing. Gotta be good at every step of the process.
