love seeing spydercos on your channel. I miss the good'ol days when you used to review a lot of spydercos. I have lost count of how many times I've re-watched your Manix, Delica, Stretch, etc. videos. Please make more if you can
6th. All those are classics, hope to get them in the future too. Also like "ride and eat" vids, obviously knife vids, bike vids, gear testing, filosofy....like the fact that all vids are not the same.
I just picked up the same one in orange on ebay it's awesome. I've been watching the channel on off for 7 years I'm 24 now Thank you for all you knowledge and insights you provide for the gear /2A community. Cheers from CA🇺🇸🦅
cts-bd1 is the most underrated-overlooked blade steel out there! love the Manix 2, it's the knife that guided me to ur channel years ago and I've been a TNP'er ever since! thx for sharing brother
Still a fave here, this orange ltd edition Cutleryshoppe Manix 2 LW is supercool. It's fast, weighs nothinbg, and is strong. Another EDC tactical blade review! -nutnfancy
Hopefully you already know, but Knifecenter.com has an exclusive Manix 2 LW in BROWN with CTS-XHP steel. I like that one even better and I bet you might too.
2 months after nutn' posted the video, today my orange lightweight Manix arrived in the mail! Now I have 3 lightweight Manix's. Glad I was able to jump onto this bandwagon - better late than never!
Some of my fav nutnfancys are you out there in an overnight backpack series. Just you shooting the shit and recording it all. You are the leader in what you do because people want to hear you talk. Backpacking overnighters are much appreciated, nutn. Thanks for all you do
I got one on the way!! I'm totally excited for it. I highly recommend shopping with Jeff. I had some issues ordering it and it did end up going through with his help. Super awesome guy. If it wasn't for this video I wouldn't have known it even exsisted.
The blue lw is still my daily defensive option. It is a great knife and I love the clip. I was carrying a para2 recently and almost lost it when the clip got caught on a bag. Never had that issue with the wire clip on the manix2 lw.
I bought a Spyderco Manix 2 LW in S110V based on your recommendations. It's my first EDC knife, and it has been such a good knife. At this point, I have set the screws to the perfect torque to balance side play and ease of deployment. The bearing surfaces have been lightly oiled as well. The deployment is wicked smooth, and that ball bearing lock holds it in with authority. I apologize for the long winded rant (some would say not dissimilar to one of your reviews); I guess I just want to say thanks for all the work you do. Keep it up!
ordered! excellent timing. I was just looking a manix 2 LW after sharpening my buddies last week. I was amazed by how light it was compared to my PM2s. great edc blade and will be my first s90v
Great vid, Nutn. I remember the Tenacious cut. I'd like to mention that this particular video just feels like your old content. It's nice. This is the best KRV you've made in months. Not to say the rest aren't great, but there's just something about this one. Keep on keeping on, Nutn. Thank you.
Thanks nutn I literally just ordered mine this is going to be my first exclusive knife. I already have a manix 2 in S110V and the blue/purple G10 and I love it.
Man I love the Manix 2! That orange LW is sick and love the blue g10 you have. The new Chaparral Raffir Noble is nice looking gents knife too. Spyderco is hitting it out of the park in 2017!
NUTN! I bought the Wenger watch, Spyderco C101POR2 Manix 2, SGL21 in Dec 2012 before restricted, (2) Winchester 9422 after your video, TRR8 came in last week and the hits just keep coming. No telling how many knives I bought....so I HAD to get the Edge Pro Apex sharpener, "You're Killing me Smalls!" It's all good - keep the vids-a-coming! Enjoy the stuff
I just ordered my orange Manix today from the Cutlery Shoppe. This is my first "expensive" EDC blade. I was carrying a $20 Smith Wesson First Response the past 4 years so time to step it up.
I don't recall what knife you were reviewing when you complained about sticking your hand in the fanny pack and getting stuck by the tenacious, but I still ended up getting a tenacious with the black coating. The blade retention on mine is still pretty good, but the deployment is a little tighter than I'd like. I haven't adjusted to pivot at all, knowing my own history with other cheaper knives I would probably just mess up the tension or centering anyways. On a side note one of the screws on my belt clip disappeared one day, I still have 2/3 remaining.
I liked the translucent blue one that you reviewed so much I bought it, because of you. Thank you. It's ergonomically perfect. Super lightweight and it's the best EDC for me. The only downside is, if you play with it a lot it tares up your fingers. I started carrying the PM2 and the military. I can flick those without hurting my fingers. I still carry the Manix with lightweight shorts. I can't even feel it in my pocket.
I have the dark blue S110v Version and it is one of my favorite knives, Probably my best "for the price" knife and I have ZT's, Spyderco's, and Benchmades that cost twice as much. I've used it at work for cutting cardboard and tape and even in the kitchen, I have an edge pro and haven't ever needed to sharpen it, just a quick strop on my strop block once or twice ever, Great factory edge and I like the steel.
Started my EDC carry loving the spyderco Knives....now about 10 years later the only one I carry is the delica 4, its a perfect option IMO. These days I'm more inclined to carry my standby 940-1 Benchmade, or my CR Sebenza 21 if I want something larger. With that said I prob need to add this one to my collection, looks like a perfect execution of an EDC knife. Well done Eric and the boys at Spyderco.
Yeah I think I seen that one. Hope you get it! It's best to get them when they are new. People that aren't even really into knives buy them just to rip people off on the secondary market.
There is someone on eBay that is making exactly what you're talking about (something that clamps to the spydie hole) there is also a replacement backspaces for the delica that has a karambit ring.....it's called a "signet ring"
Boois Hoois People only steal things that look valuable. Most petty thieves are pretty stupid, they probably think those shitty $8 MTech knives are valuable. They'll definitely jump for military colors, too. Now, if you're walking around Portland, chances are they probably know what's valuable, since they can just walk into any sporting goods joint and briefly peruse their selection.
The only thing I don't like about the Manix is that it lacks any curvature to the cutting portion. Sorta like what the Manix XL has. I still love and carry this knife all the time! Love it!
Hey Nutn! Please tell me you added the CS Exclusive orange alox Cadet to the collection to pair w that Manix! Thanks for the KRVs, especially the Spydies!
Hello i wanted to know if you know where to get a sheath for that Gerber Gator i got one on a trade but it didn't come with the sheath and i been trying to find one online but been unsuccessful if you could point me in the right direction i would gladly appreciate it please and thank you.
Do the Manix Lightweight versions have a rattle noise normally? Like the ball bearing rattling/? I havent experienced them, and I have one that is making that noise. And someone told me that is normal. Can someone help here??
I know u sign your blades have u ever thought about using an etcher with stencil so u get perfect clean lines I mean don't get me wrong if u was to do my blade I'd prefer your signature
Awesome KRV Nutn! I was wondering if you've ever heard of the Strand by Quietcarry. For my first knife getting into EDC, I've loved it. 2.8" blade, 3.2oz., D2 steel blade - $130-$140 depending on variant. Any thoughts on it or interest in reviewing that product?
I got the kickstarter price @ $70, so I lucked out a bit. However, I don't feel $140 is out of line for a USA product, titanium handles and a PVD finish. I can't recall their warranty, but everything seems to be holding up well for everyday carry and use.
Hey nutn or anybody who has bought one of these have you had any blade centering issues? I got mine yesterday and the blade is favoring left pretty severely. I talked to Jeff and he is going to hand pick a replacement. But still it's kinda inconvenient but cutleryshoppe is a great place to get your knives. And they send you tootsie pops and a pen with it. Lol but please if anybody else has had this problem plz let me know.
I love my manix for edc, but its got a pretty shitty handle for backpacking, the corners are too sharp for a hammer grip and the blade doesn't whittle very well.
Just got Manix2. My first and only Spyderco. I was always interested in the brand but hung up on the China thing. This is made in USA 🇺🇸 and I completely love it. Wish they were all made in USA, then Spyderco would get a lot more of my $
You should do a knife wound review and reminisce about all your scars lol. I could do a 30 minute video easily on mine, 60 minutes if I included burns too. Lol
love seeing spydercos on your channel. I miss the good'ol days when you used to review a lot of spydercos. I have lost count of how many times I've re-watched your Manix, Delica, Stretch, etc. videos. Please make more if you can
Please do more backpacking videos like you used to.
I second this
22640cal I third this.
fourth
6th. All those are classics, hope to get them in the future too. Also like "ride and eat" vids, obviously knife vids, bike vids, gear testing, filosofy....like the fact that all vids are not the same.
hes getting too old i guess
I just picked up the same one in orange on ebay it's awesome. I've been watching the channel on off for 7 years I'm 24 now Thank you for all you knowledge and insights you provide for the gear /2A community. Cheers from CA🇺🇸🦅

Still Love Your Spyderco Knife Reviews Nutn! Keep on Rockin!
Any thought on the XL variety of the Manix?
Without even looking. "Too heavy, not deep enough carry."
nutnfancy re visit benchmade 940 please
Am I the only one that gets a "semi" every time the picture of the translucent blue Manix with the mountains background shows up?
2 months after nutn' posted the video, today my orange lightweight Manix arrived in the mail! Now I have 3 lightweight Manix's. Glad I was able to jump onto this bandwagon - better late than never!
actually got my translucent blue with me today as part of my edc. big fan of the manix and delica from spyderco.
Some of my fav nutnfancys are you out there in an overnight backpack series. Just you shooting the shit and recording it all. You are the leader in what you do because people want to hear you talk. Backpacking overnighters are much appreciated, nutn. Thanks for all you do
I recently got that blue manix two as an upgrade after losing my much loved Kershaw skyline and the manix has more than surpassed my expectations.
I got one on the way!! I'm totally excited for it. I highly recommend shopping with Jeff. I had some issues ordering it and it did end up going through with his help. Super awesome guy. If it wasn't for this video I wouldn't have known it even exsisted.

Keep the knife reviews flowin!
Joseph Brennan
Yeah, guns are pretty boring in comparison. At least you can get away with carrying a special and/or rare knife.
just ordered mine! I've been looking forever for a bright orange, light weight, good steel back packing blade. so stoked. thanks for the review nutn
ordered! excellent timing. I was just looking a manix 2 LW after sharpening my buddies last week. I was amazed by how light it was compared to my PM2s. great edc blade and will be my first s90v
That orange PM2 is SICK!
I remember the Tenacious cut very well! Been a fan of TNP a long time.
Picked up one from Cutlery Shoppe today...surprised that they still had them! Thanks for the review.
I just got my Manix 2 LW Orange and im so pumped to carry this lightweight beast
So when are you going to review the crkt homefront?
I have this orange CS exclusive and the double black in XL. Great blades
Great vid, Nutn. I remember the Tenacious cut.
I'd like to mention that this particular video just feels like your old content. It's nice. This is the best KRV you've made in months. Not to say the rest aren't great, but there's just something about this one. Keep on keeping on, Nutn. Thank you.
Rockin a manix and so is my brother because of you. Awesome knife
I still carry my manix 2 lw everyday here on the streets of Las Vegas....7 days a week.
Ooooo I'm gonna have to get this color. The blue is my favorite knife
Thanks nutn I literally just ordered mine this is going to be my first exclusive knife. I already have a manix 2 in S110V and the blue/purple G10 and I love it.
Killabee-23 I've got that one but I can't bring myself to use it.
Man I love the Manix 2! That orange LW is sick and love the blue g10 you have. The new Chaparral Raffir Noble is nice looking gents knife too. Spyderco is hitting it out of the park in 2017!

love them. have one in the blue as reviewed previously & another in black. his & hers.
I have the blacked out version and I love it, I carry it everyday.
sweet blade! classic knife show greatness
excellent review
Mrgunsngear Channel wow did not expect to see you here
I don't recall what knife you were reviewing when you complained about sticking your hand in the fanny pack and getting stuck by the tenacious, but I still ended up getting a tenacious with the black coating. The manix 2 still holds up!! Ps my tenacious lit me up too it folded close on my hand. It went straight to the retirement bowl in my safe after that.
Nice review Nutn. Realy like the Spydie reviews you make. Keep the knife reviews going!!
Ok I did it. Thanks for the great review Nutnfancy. I had to buy the Cutlery Shoppe orange LW! And I'm glad I did! It's awesome!
Started my EDC carry loving the spyderco Knives....now about 10 years later the only one I carry is the delica 4, its a perfect option IMO. I remember the tenacious cut @nutnfancy been with ya a while know brother! Since 09' i think. Keep rolling man!
I'm a fan of the orange handles. Even better to me is black blade orange handle. I am bummed I missed out on that pm2 in this configuration.
crf450r bullet david saw that one on eBay for like $340. Begged my wife to buy for my b-day....still waiting
Yeah I think I seen that one. Hope you get it! It's best to get them when they are new. People that aren't even really into knives buy them just to rip people off on the secondary market.
Wasn't one of your bleu manix you lost stolen from your van?Love the orange coloration!
Just ordered an orange one from cutlery shoppe!
There is someone on eBay that is making exactly what you're talking about (something that clamps to the spydie hole) there is also a replacement backspaces for the delica that has a karambit ring.....it's called a "signet ring"
One advantage Spyderco knives have is they look cheaper than they are. Nobody will ever steal one from you!
Scowler are you serious the G10 manix 2 in the middle looks amazing
shannonandsheila1
But at a glance, they LOOK cheap. They're obviously a step above cheap knives, though.
Boois Hoois
People only steal things that look valuable. Most petty thieves are pretty stupid, they probably think those shitty $8 MTech knives are valuable. They'll definitely jump for military colors, too.

When will we see the new Para 3?
Christian C
PM3? Awesome!!!
Lol I remember the Tenacious cut. It was gory!
Great knife, I swapped out the clip with a dragonfly clip and it's pretty stealthy for pocket or appendix carry.
Just ordered! Love the M2 lightweight!
Manix 2 XL. Fave of all Time.
You can use a kwik thumb stud for a wave deployment
When I get cut by spyderco knives I call them Spyderbites.
Finally more KRV's! :)
And yes, I remember the tenacious cut.
Ha!!
Carried a Manix 2 today!!
In Cruwear with Carbon Fiber scales !
Not a Lightweight but still only about 4 ounces.
Hey nutn would love to hear you opinion on the sig Romeo series!
Hey nutn! Update on Killer and the 'Vette Grand Sport?
Dude i tell you trade in the zip ties for a screw on thumb stud like used on the 110 works sweet almost as good as wave
LOL, the Tenacious cut is one of your top videos for views!
Hello i wanted to know if you know where to get a sheath for that Gerber Gator i got one on a trade but it didn't come with the sheath and i been trying to find one online but been unsuccessful if you could point me in the right direction i would gladly appreciate it please and thank you.
Love the color!
Do the Manix Lightweight versions have a rattle noise normally? Like the ball bearing rattling/? I havent experienced them, and I have one that is making that noise. And someone told me that is normal. Can someone help here??
lost my orange dragonfly recently. wish manix was around 70 like they were months ago
Review the Kershaw Emerson edition (whatever flavor) would love to know your opinion on them.
so I have the regular manix 2 and do you think if I drilled out the liners to save weight do you think that would affect the strength of the knife?
Best part is spyderco will sharpen it and replace anything broken as long as you pay them $5 to cover shipping. I love my Manix.
WickedSensation have they ever given a legit answer for not supporting warranty if you just unscrew it to clean it?
I still have my translucent blue BD1 manix2 it's just the best
Digging the orange!
Re-Visit the Delica, that would be nice!
I like the Cally3 and PM2
Lol when he used Charlie, bravo to name the knife but couldn’t think of words for P or O.
Why do they void warranty just if you unscrew them for cleaning?
I know u sign your blades have u ever thought about using an etcher with stencil so u get perfect clean lines I mean don't get me wrong if u was to do my blade I'd prefer your signature
How do you take the zip ties off?
Any intention of reviewing the benchmade bugout?
I've considered welding on a small metal tab instead of a zip tie
For everyday use would you pick this steel or the BD1?
I bought one and the blade came off center :/ what should I do
Awesome KRV Nutn! I was wondering if you've ever heard of the Strand by Quietcarry. For my first knife getting into EDC, I've loved it. 2.8" blade, 3.2oz., D2 steel blade - $130-$140 depending on variant. Any thoughts on it or interest in reviewing that product?
DMxMarine
... That seems really expensive for D2 steel
I got the kickstarter price @ $70, so I lucked out a bit. However, I don't feel $140 is out of line for a USA product, titanium handles and a PVD finish. I can't recall their warranty, but everything seems to be holding up well for everyday carry and use.
Cool, that makes more sense
Now should I get the light weight in cts-xhp, s90v, s110v, or maxamet? Which is the best steel overall? What do you think?
Glad I scored one of these when I first saw this video a year ago.
I thought this was gonna be a review of one of the knives I delivered to you in a box from Spyderco back in December... guess not. Still waiting~
Manix 2 or delica 4? I can only buy one.
Your S110V Manix LWT was the one stolen out of your van maybe? You mentioned you don't know where it is
Im happy with my para2 but that's another sweet spyderco
I love my manix for edc, but its got a pretty shitty handle for backpacking, the corners are too sharp for a hammer grip and the blade doesn't whittle very well.
Already have, thanks for the validation
Love, love, love it!
Ordered it, have it. Pretty f'ing sweet.
Can’t tell differences between the steels, gets TNP version in ZDP. 😐
this'll be Manix 2 #4 in my collection
Wish it was a clear orange, that would have been bad ass!
Didn't you say the knife that was stolen from your van was a Manix 2?
Just got Manix2. My first and only Spyderco. I was always interested in the brand but hung up on the China thing. This is made in USA 🇺🇸 and I completely love it. Wish they were all made in USA, then Spyderco would get a lot more of my $
Most of their famous models are…
You should do a knife wound review and reminisce about all your scars lol. I could do a 30 minute video easily on mine, 60 minutes if I included burns too.
Lol
I don't think the manix 2 LW has pb bushings, just blade on frn. Btw still here, I remember that tenacious cut. Sick scar lol
Wise men company who make the signet ring make a.wave that goes right in the spydie hole 2
