Sukumar Ray is the father of SATYAJIT RAY and SANDIP RAY the film artist is the son of Satyajit Ray.. The RAY family is generationally talented. Satyajit's father Sukumar are given honour in bengal almost like Rabindranath Tagore. Sukumar Ray wrote a book named ABOL TABOL which is kind of a collection of poems for children with many nonsensical images and thoughts and gibberish words many of which are his own made up written in Bengali. Its a style of writing poetry and also stories. The Ray family is also the relative of KADAMBANI BOSE GANGULY who is considered as India's first woman doctor in modern medicine and also the first woman speaker in Indian National Congress..
MAMATA tried hard to copy that style of poetic endevour to mock or criticize political parties but failed and it became a huge meme. However she is actually quite talented in painting.
