It's sad to see many people doesn't give comedy it's credit. Recently I've watched an interview of Salim Kumar (National award winner from Mollywood who rose from comedy just like Sooraj) where he said that comedy character is harder to nail than other characters and he would prefer comedy roles over any other role.
I honestly wish to see the old Suraj once in a while... Because I think he can make us laugh with over the top comedy without "being over"., More importantly there are not much comedians who perfect the genre ..
I think Suraj gets carried away while acting! Is he imitating himself? He has been highly influenced by the master actor Jagati Sreekumar! He is an excellent actor when he has been given a serious role as a character who is important in that film! Yes, he is underated by most movie makers who only want clowns not comedians! Suraj should stop acting as a sidekick to the main actors! He has a unique identity of his own and should exploit his talent by adopting multiple styles of acting!
