I do follow your progress and channel for almost 3 yrs now dude, I honestly believe that this is one of the best vids out there and on your channel, gym workouts aside. Its tough putting yourself out there like that BUT its really important for young lads to be realistic both with themselves and their role models. Knowing what to expect and what it takes to get from point A to point B when bodybuilding turns out to be more than a hobby and it moves towards making a living off of it. Just for the record honesty doesn't kill anyone, I do respect you a whole lot more now, and after 3 yrs at the gym I only follow legit guys like you on UA-cam! Big applause and cheers dude!

@b I'm 58, and I use steroids. Without steroids, even if I'm not training legs, I have pain in my legs. Nothing serious it's just like delayed onset muscle soreness but all the time, especially if I've been sitting still for a long while or driving.
My job is quite physical, working in a warehouse loading trucks. Without steroids I can only work 5 days per week. With steroids I have the energy to work 6 days per week, and earn an extra £110pw.
I want to go to the gym 5days per week, but without steroids I can only make it maybe 3, or 4 days on a good week.
Now I know you'll say that I'm getting older and these are all things that I should accept as an older man. But why should I accept pain in my legs every day?.

This. I am sick and tired of all the Instagram fitness coaches that are juiced to the gills, and selling training/macro programs, making people think they can look just like these coaches with some clean eating and working out 5-6 days a week. Even with roids it takes hard work, but lets be real here... the fitness industry is soooo fake right now.

That is how they make money, it won’t change. All we can do is educate ourselves and educate others so they won’t fall for it.

Cody so true mate, it’s a shame. But hopefully the more of them that come out and say they’re taking steroids, hopefully it makes others do it too!

I hugely appreciate this. It makes me feel a lot more comfortable in my own skin because I set unrealistic standards without steroids and would never be in that bracket. Being bold enough to be honest is not damaging, it helps athletes set realistic expectations of themself. It also raises awareness of what is possible for youth coming through in the future. Be proud of where you get too naturally, do not compare and dispair at what others are doing. Be proud of you! Well done Calum Sir.

I have a tremendous amount of respect for anyone willing to be open and honest about the use of PEDs. As someone who has worked with and trained young athletes for many years I appreciate that he advises kids to workout to achieve their genetic potential first and then ONLY IF they choose to compete at that level consider using PEDs. Much Respect, Calum!

I think your honesty may become contagious in the body building industry. Hopefully it does and people won't feel so stigmatized for doing them. As a teacher, I also appreciate you encouraging kids to be mindful and responsible with their decisions regarding steroids. Btw, I've seen your natural physique and I don't feel like you even needed them in the first place but I understand your position on them. Thanks for the video.
