You aren't supposed to blow on cartridges, and hardcore enthusiasts get mad when you do... I had to do it though, for the nostalgia and whatnot. Hope you guys enjoy this one!
Not just you. It's over priced junk. An adapter for the original controllers and an emulator would cost almost nothing and give you a much better experience that won't lock up. Not to mention the advantages of save states.
Did he just say they gut original consoles and harvest their components to stuff them into this thing and resell them as a new product? If that's the case, that makes me pretty sad.
+xcrimsonlegendx Not just that. They gut the Japanese consoles, so they can play Japanese games, and build a Four Score (which is a rare accessory that's sold separately) right into the unit. They also give it stereo sound, S-video, and VGA video, which the original didn't have. That makes it look and sound better than was ever even possible before. And you can get it with an HDMI port built in too. Normally, if you hook an NES up to a TV with HDMI, you have to plug the NES into a converter box, which causes a delay between when you press a button, and when something happens in the game. But with the built in HDMI port on this console, that doesn't happen, and it also gives it even better sound quality.
+thecianinator Once I finally figured out how to set my TV to Game Mode I was able to use a DVD recorder to upscale my NES to HDMI out on the DVD recorder fortunately for me, there is no lag I used Mike Tyson's Punch-Out and played it fine
+thecianinator NES came with composite cables right out the box tho. Surely any modern tv has a yellow and red input plug. See i dont want my games to sound better or look better than before. I want to enjoy them for what they were. This is the reason i got a 1st gen Genesis when i could have gotten a more modern gen 3 or one of the new offerings. I dont want better graphics, i dont want better sound (not that any chip can beat 1st genesis sound chip) i dont want smoother gameplay. I want the same experience i had when i was 7, especially seeing that after literally thousands of hours of gametime any slight difference becomes a glaring one.

I really don't understand why anyone would want to play NES games via an HDMI cable on an HD TV. 8-bit games look best on CRT TVs, because that's what they were made for. Not even considering the button-display lag effect that happens sometimes with HD and NES, just the appearance alone is so much better on a CRT because the 8-bit pixelated blocky effect is smoothed out to appear more advanced than it was. HD exposes the primitiveness of 8-bit graphics in a way that was never originally intended to be seen. I don't get it. Seems like anyone who played them in the CRT era should know and prefer CRT for retro games. It's like, of course, the only real purpose for CRTs these days, but a purpose nonetheless.
The whole point of this product is for there to be a product that works on your hdtv and blends into you're setup. Anyone buying this isn't buying it with lag and lack of scan lines in mind.

+MrGoat You hit the nail on the head. Not even scan line emulators can approximate the effect a good CRT. The only useful feature this kit provides is RGB, and self modding a pre existing NES to be RGB compatible is far more affordable than this overpriced over polished tat.
+MrGoat I grew up playing my NES, SNES and genesis on CRT TV's, still have some specifically for testing old consoles, and even though you're correct about most of what you're saying, I don't think seeing the games in all their blocky detail make them look any worse, I actually think it looks better, I could see the blockyness clear as day on any TV I used even my SNES on, I don't know if we just had decent TV's through the years or what but it basically looked the same and I still enjoy playing these games on my NES/SNES/Genesis hooked up through RF on my TV or playing them emulated on my PC and prefer the sharp crisp look of them being emulated, over HDMI to my HDTV's instead and don't use the ridiculous scan line emulation options. And the biggest reason? We all have HDTV's now, no one wants to lug out a heavy ass CRT just to play their NES/SNES/Genesis on. But I think the price for this thing is ridiculous, it blows my mind as to why they'd expect people to pay $500 for one of those when most NES's can actually be converted from RGB right from the graphics processor to a digital output and there's plenty of documentation on it. If they were actually rebuilding NES main boards from scratch, I could see the justified price, but they're gutting systems which means they're ruining the market for NES's by buying a bunch of them and destroying them to put into these aluminum cases.
every night, before goinf to sleep, after lunch, after breakfast. ..... i look at your channel. unbox therapy is probably MY favourite channel on youtube and enjoyable to watch and you never stop watching it because it's so entratainig. Thumbs up if you agree ;)
$500 dollars for an NES? If this was a Playstation 1... I would be all over this. Those graphics are crisp as all heck. And the build quality is what I would expect from something this price. And it showcases your collection as you play it. If I grew up playing NES... (which I wish I had) I would totally get this piece of beautiful hardware. Great job on this review +Unbox Therapy Thumbs up from me!
Walrus Weekly I guess we're all different. Im 17 and i didnt play ps2 until I got older. I started out playing SNES and N64. i didnt get ps1 until later on. and then ps2 and so on.
I got to meet the owner of Analogue a little while ago. He was a super nice guy and the Analogue NT really is top of the line. That NES controller is actually a brand new, authentic, Nintendo controller too. They found some guy that had a huge lot of new NES controllers from back in the day.
Growing up in the 80's this was absolutely a flashback for me. Blades of Steel and Wrestlemania were two of my favorites so thank you. When the music on both of those cartridges hit, man, talk about flashbacks. The other game I loved, primitive as it was, was NES Play Action Football. That game rocked!
Actually if you get the right Torx bit you can open up the cartridge & use a pencil eraser to clean the gold contacts. No. 1 repair on the old NES was the 72-pin connector inside the unit...intermittent connection & kids thought blowing into the cartridge was some kinda magic!
+Bhanu Pratap Singh It doesn't matter who you were asking. The OnePlus Two simply isn't worth it with other devices that go for the same price range such as the LG G4, Nexus 6, and Moto X in the market.
+D33M0N3Y A snapdragon 810, laser autofocus and a fingerprint reader in 2013? Also, where do you get an unlocked phone with a snapdragon 810 for that price? You call the Oneplus Two outdated while all your alternatives are outdated.
+Bhanu Pratap Singh +D33M0N3Y The only downside's are NFC (which not EVERYONE uses) and expandable memory card slot. and if you really care then it also does not have Water resistance and Wireless charging. Beside that it IS a good phone for its price category.
Retron 5 is a piece of crap. You don't get a real console experience unless you use the real console. This uses real hardware, so while not as good as a stock NES, it's better then a Retron 5. Also stolen emulators.
Communist Ralph you sound like a person that has never used the retron 5....the retron5 doesn't steal emulators you have to own the cart or it doesn't work. plus the retron converts it to HD with the games and you can use all original controllers on it
Justin Smith There were accusations going about that the Retron 5 stole most of it's emulators without sufficient credit. The system doesn't duplicate the feel of an original system. The thing is that it's a fake, and fakes, no matter how good they are, are not as good as the original and never better. You don't get the feel of sticking a cart into the toaster and pushing it down, the frustration of having it not work, and then the ultimate and extended joy of it finally turning on. And the upscaling is just the thing. You don't get the soft NTSC/PAL look, the creamier colours, and the nice feel of the analog signal. The sound is too crisp and doesn't have the accents of the original system. I have seen a Retron 5 before, it is too perfect, too crisp, too clear. It's not an original system and all you can do while playing it is feel the fake. For this is why we collect old consoles, this is why we keep them around. They deliver an experience that cannot be duplicated, something that has it's own unique touch be it an NES, Genesis, SNES, N64, or even a PC. You can't duplicate it. If I wanted crisp, easy, perfect, I would download an emulator and start pirating away. It is cheaper, easier, and with less hassle. It has a pixel perfect quality and the keyboard allows a decent tactile experience. But I don't and you don't either. A real thing is better then ANY forgery, ANY reproduction, ANYTHING. I won't even want the new NES Nintendo is making for this reason. There is pleasure in working hard to get something to work, there is love in knowing you are using the same thing people used to do, It gives nostalgia even if you weren't there to witness it. Sorry for the big TL;DR text, but I have no other way of stressing the point. The Retron 5 is nice, but not NEARLY as good as a real thing.
Communist Ralph Again you sound like someone that has never played the retron 5 "The system doesn't duplicate the feel of an original system. The thing is that it's a fake, and fakes, no matter how good they are, are not as good as the original and never better. You don't get the feel of sticking a cart into the toaster and pushing it down, the frustration of having it not work, and then the ultimate and extended joy of it finally turning on" trust me i've had a ton of problems with the game carts working on the retron 5. I have a regular nes, snes etc and I like playing on the retron 5 because like i said it converts it to HD and lets you use the original controllers. not to mention its more convenient than having every orignal console hooked up looking like shit on an HD TV. Theres a reason why the retron 5 sold and this thing didn't
Justin Smith That's still the thing. It's not the same as a real console. Agree or not, that is why there is a legion of people lining up to get great collections of those old games.
Nostalgia is a novelty that fades quickly. I love thinking about renting Sega games on the weekends from Blockbuster, but I don't derive the same enjoyment from them now as I did then.
Yes it is man... yes it is. I don't even have a console because of Steam lol. The one thing about consoles is when the new one is out there's no guarantee it can play the old games. I got some old games on Steam lol, as well as current gen games.
Everyone blows incorrectly. I haven't seen a single person blow correctly. You have to put it under your shirt so that it gets warmed up. The reason i blew into it was to warm up the cartridge. I always figured it doesn't work when its cold and it needs to get warmed up to work.
+x2eXu50x Disassemble the cart. Rub a pink eraser on the pins until they shine. Wipe off the residue and reassemble. Clean the pins too. I adjusted the pins on my NES so that you don't have to push the cart down tob boot the game. Disabled the lock out chip too. Games load first time every time (almost) and it doesn't reset if the console is bumped a little. It's satisfying to put a game in and play. All my SNES/N64 games are clean too, but I never had to jiggle/wiggle/adjust the damn thing for 15 minutes to play the SNES/N64.
This is one of the most moronic products ever. It plays into this bullshit retro hipster trend. All these damn hipsters are driving retro prices through the roof.
Blowing inside the NES cartridge LOOOOOL!!!!!! This brought me back to the good old days where I used to sit close to the TV set wearing my pj till I couldn't feel my legs hahaha
This is so cool lew... whew ... kinda hoping you continued playing the games ... there's a certain satisfaction feelin watching you play all the games brings out the child in me 😂
I heard that you shouldn't blow the cartridges due to the little water particals in your breath you could damage the cartridges. You should just take it out & put it back in.
I purchased a Retron 2 last year because I wanted to play my old NES carts. I'm sure the build quality isn't as nice as the one featured in the video but I like how it plays my NES and SNES games. Sure, I can always play an emulator but there's something to be said for playing the real McCoy.
Its all about the Analogue Interactive NeoGeo, got mine heading to the UK as we speak can't wait to set it up next to my original AES! I might be 32 but boys toys are more important than the gym or going out plus Ive wanted one since release, gunna be mega slotting Mark Of The Wolves or Metal Slug X in, so excited, CANT WAIT!
One time, I found a Japanese Snes game on a bus stop bench, and I popped it in, and it felt like a pointless game, I didn't know what people were saying to me because it was all written in Hiragana but the game just seemed like all you do was walk around one town and like complete errands, it was so bizarre.

You just reminded me.... When I was like age 5, one of my babysitters had stolen my Super Mario 3 game for NES. It could have been 1 of 3 babysitters. And from news of one that has done illegal activity, it can easily be pointed towards him. Mario 3 was my favorite game at the time. My mom did end up buying me another brand new super mario 3 for like $35 or so back around 1989. (price may have been more. All I remember is saving my own $ to buy used $15-$25-$35 games at a pawnshop in seattle).
I was so hyped when you scored, and its funny thats what I used to do for nintendo cartridges we were born as rebels because it says do not blow cartridge on the nintendo one but it always worked or a wiped from you sort of alcohol wipe. +unboxtherapy.
In the looks department, they would have been better off with a brushed aluminum or piano black finish. The matt coated curves with a few sharp lines are great, but reminds me more of "modern"/futuristic appliance designs from the 90s. Let's say the dreamcast era.
Do zapper games still not work on this thing when hooked up to a tv through the native HDMI out? I've heard that on flat panel screens, the frame latency is significantly higher than on CRT displays which messes with the Zapper's synching. IS the native digital output made in a way that can compensate for this somehow? or is Duck Hunt still out of the question?
A lot of people would. There is a huge community of people who work to get their old systems playing as nice as they can with new displays. Check out people like MyLifeinGaming.
500$ is pricey, but let me answer some of the common "why not" questions: why not use an AV/hi def converter? because it causes input lag. that is bad when you are playing ninja gaiden/ battletoads. the parts are not that pricey but designing a board onto which you'll be installing those parts, essentially combining famicom and nes systems takes time and time is worth something. furthermore: this is not one system. if you want to price shop it price a famicon unit and a toploading nes. ps, this has four controller ports (more work designing the board here and a great feature that requires a peripheral device on the original systems. i want one.
It says on their website that this is an FPGA board recreating the original NES hardware. It is hardware based, which puts it a step above emulation, but it isn't authentic. I mean, cmon, did you think they fit both the Famicom, NES and all those output mods into a case roughly the size of either one?
I am being serious about this I remember holding a NES game cartridge and the excitement was unreal I never played an NES but I love the cartridge. I love experiencing these old games
I hope that the boards are recapped and assessed to be in spec. $500 seems a bit much, but consider this is likely a low volume custom product. This isn't an NES on a chip slapped into an injection molded body in China. Plenty of that on the market. Few people refurbish and restore old systems. Replacing the parts in these systems is actually fairly easy for anyone with decent tools. Through hole soldering makes repair a breeze if you got the parts. Capacitors often dry up and drift after decade+ time periods. It's always a good idea to check these in any electronic older than 15 years if you value long term use and safety. Some of these game systems are pushing 25+ years, those really should be checked. That said. To be worth my time and effort I would charge somebody between $200-500 to rebuild and assess a system. It might be "easy" but it still takes a good deal of time, trouble shooting and effort.
I think I'm actually the target audience for this device. Still have an epic collection of cartridges but my old v2 top-loader console only outputs RF, doesn't look so good on the modern TV.
You aren't supposed to blow on cartridges, and hardcore enthusiasts get mad when you do... I had to do it though, for the nostalgia and whatnot. Hope you guys enjoy this one!

+xcrimsonlegendx I think they use defective Famicoms, so nothing that could be played on is being lost.
Then you must haven't used an iPhone.
+xcrimsonlegendx Not just that. They gut the Japanese consoles, so they can play Japanese games, and build a Four Score (which is a rare accessory that's sold separately) right into the unit. +nope. ash Nostalgia can sell anything.
+nope. ash , you're right about one thing. You don't know shit about hardware or programming.
+TheWorldOfJames (iamjamesj) you can modify any old game console to output a pure hd signal for like $10 in parts

noooooo I cringed so hard when I saw you blow all that spit into the cartridge :/ best not to blow on them because the moisture destroys the contacts
It's a little thing I like to call, 91% Isopropyl Alchohol and some Q-Tips.
Yes!
nail polish remover works too
Mr. Lolo it just does though
Hi
$500 dollars for an NES? If this was a Playstation 1... I would be all over this. Those graphics are crisp as all heck. And the build quality is what I would expect from something this price. And it showcases your collection as you play it. If I grew up playing NES... (which I wish I had) I would totally get this piece of beautiful hardware. Great job on this review +Unbox Therapy Thumbs up from me!
I'll use my spare gaming PC and hook it up to my TV instead lmao.
+William smiley savage
+William smiley you could do that. but the outside has no people. they are all at home behind their tv's.
anyone under 20? more like anyone under 14.
I'm 15 and this was my childhood, Super Mario Bros 3 is by far the greatest game I've ever played!
+Isay Hi oh really.
+Walrus Weekly sure is
I'm 17 and I played PlayStation 2 more. I still played the old stuff but sly 2 was my jam.
English ( sorry 4 my bad hi )
Not funny anymore -_-
I think you mean: Hi, sorry for my bad English.
+Wolfhawk40 No, he doesn't. It's a joke :P
+Wolfhawk40 No shit Sherlock.
+Wolfhawk40 you took the bait
Who came from the Segway video today?
meee
You can hear jack talk in this video.
me
Me
me
Growing up in the 80's this was absolutely a flashback for me. Blades of Steel and Wrestlemania were two of my favorites so thank you. When the music on both of those cartridges hit, man, talk about flashbacks. The other game I loved, primitive as it was, was NES Play Action Football. That game rocked!
Hulk Hogan? Who is that guy? I still remember how Andre bodyslammed himself at wrestlemania lol
+Quazi Irtiza IKR! They shoulda put someone in the cover of the game it looks all boring with just WRESTLEMANIA...
Skrilx_187 Ha-ha absolutely
And he's a racist!
Hoke Cogan
+Isay He's not though
is this life fifa but for ice men?
+NumNaughts allah
+NumNaughts akbar
Actually if you get the right Torx bit you can open up the cartridge & use a pencil eraser to clean the gold contacts. No. 1 repair on the old NES was the 72-pin connector inside the unit...intermittent connection & kids thought blowing into the cartridge was some kinda magic!
Please do a OnePlus Two review!!
No NFC, Specs of 2013/2014. There.
+D33M0N3Y I was asking Lou..
though i have seen a bunch of reviews of oneplus two, i would still love to see unbox therapy's review :)
Beside that it IS a good phone for its price category.
im only 7 months old and i know what an NES is c'mon
wow brought back every memory i had as a kid i still remmeber being the coolest kid on the block when i got the NES for christmas
"Using original NES Hardware" -Has HDMI and DVI...
it's just the logic chips
Game-Tech sells the HDMI mod kit that can be installed on original NES hardware and adds HDMI out. Analogue NT uses the same board
HDMI and RGB not DVI
500 is ripoff. It should be at least $100-$250
You said it yourself 250 at least
+I am Api nah, the kevtris HDMI kit itself is over 100 bucks.
+I am Api technically speaking, it is at least $100-$250...
+I am Api I think you mean at most
+Hallucinogenichusky NES is roughly about $80.. for console, all hookups, and 2 controllers. 500 is crazy expensive, for no real reason.
by so far my favorite review, next to the $1000 earphones.you actually took me back when u had to blow on the games .keep It up fo sho TWO THUMBS UP
500$ for that? when theres the retron 5 that plays NES, Famicom, SNES, Genesis, Gameboy and Gameboy advanced....for half the price of this
Retron 5 is a piece of crap.
Communist Ralph Again you sound like someone that has never played the retron 5
"The system doesn't duplicate the feel of an original system. The thing is that it's a fake, and fakes, no matter how good they are, are not as good as the original and never better. You don't get the feel of sticking a cart into the toaster and pushing it down, the frustration of having it not work, and then the ultimate and extended joy of it finally turning on"
trust me i've had a ton of problems with the game carts working on the retron 5.
None of the technology in that is anywhere close to $500 worth.
Nostalgia is a novelty that fades quickly.
I love thinking about renting Sega games on the weekends from Blockbuster, but I don't derive the same enjoyment from them now as I did then.
Well I play these games contently, I haven't played that many modern games besides small games on Steam. So to each their own.
I bet Steam is where it's at. I'm going to have to look into it.
Yes it is man... yes it is. I don't even have a console because of Steam lol. The one thing about consoles is when the new one is out there's no guarantee it can play the old games. I got some old games on Steam lol, as well as current gen games.
Agreed. My last console was the Playstation 1 back in 1995
You dont supposes to blow it. It ruins the contacts!!!!!!!!
+N64 Joey ok, thanx!!!
i think your the first person who has mentioned this.
+Nicool Man hells yea!
Trust me it works.
Im 14 and i know what the NES is
???????
+tosik2betrue what
+tosik2betrue what are you talking about
+tosik2betrue and what are Your problem
Sick dude
Everyone blows incorrectly. I haven't seen a single person blow correctly. You have to put it under your shirt so that it gets warmed up. The reason i blew into it was to warm up the cartridge. I always figured it doesn't work when its cold and it needs to get warmed up to work.
Blowing into it just adds water vapor, not a good idea. I don't see how there is a correct way to do the wrong thing.
Dilip Tien It has worked 99% of the time, doesn't seem wrong to me. And I've never had a cartridge stop working so your theory is wrong.
+x2eXu50x kotaku.com/5946085/blowing-on-cartridges-didnt-help-them-it-hurt-them
I thought everyone would know this by now.
Jamie Last 99% success rate idgaf...
The nerve of these mf to charge us more than Playstation does for a ps4, for this old ass shit
fuck off 3 year old kid
emerald white fat
Vasto Alex Thank u!
EJS EDDY lmao, Educate myself??? On what exactly?
EJS EDDY HAHAHA my point exactly
This is one of the most moronic products ever. It plays into this bullshit retro hipster trend. All these damn hipsters are driving retro prices through the roof.
Blowing inside the NES cartridge LOOOOOL!!!!!! This brought me back to the good old days where I used to sit close to the TV set wearing my pj till I couldn't feel my legs hahaha
I'm 13 and I know what the NES is.
+Bruce Vue I am so proud that you out of all the 13 year olds here know what an NES is.
Wow, congratulations.
+CoWinkKeyDinkInc thank you.
+TheGeekyGirl 3.14 It's not a competition.
Same here
All the butthurt people in the comments are pretty funny.
I clicked like as soon as you blew into the cartridge. takes me back. it's really part of the ritual.
Thanks for bringing this up. Instant classic.
This is so cool lew... whew ... kinda hoping you continued playing the games ... there's a certain satisfaction feelin watching you play all the games brings out the child in me 😂
I am new to this type of channel, and wonder why I have taken sooooooo long to find it... thanks Lou
Goosebumps. Nothing beats a classic
Love your Channel and love the NES! Gave me an idea for my Birthday in June. Thanks for this!
holy moly your screams startled me, I'd suggest limiting/compressing the audio
Thanks Lou, the only flashbacks you gave me were Vietnam flashbacks.
I heard that you shouldn't blow the cartridges due to the little water particals in your breath you could damage the cartridges. You should just take it out & put it back in.
You don't need an HDMI to play your nes on your flatscreen tv. I play on mine still using the RF adaptor.
I purchased a Retron 2 last year because I wanted to play my old NES carts. I'm sure the build quality isn't as nice as the one featured in the video but I like how it plays my NES and SNES games. Sure, I can always play an emulator but there's something to be said for playing the real McCoy.
Merry Christmas bro !!!!!
My Wii U freezes pretty often playing COD Ghosts. Nintendo sticks to its ways.
why the fuck would play a shitty game on a shitty console
+shouldiping ikr
Rediscover Film I find it funny that nobody got the joke! 😂
Teemurion
hahhahhhhhaha so funny best joke ever 10/10
Zink Zak Sarcasm I'm guessing?
I felt nostalgic when you blew into the cartridge. I used to do that thinking it would help the game perform better haha.
"If I come over to your place, you got that sitting there, you got this stack of games over there... I'm gonna be there for a while."
Don't blow on your cartridges, clean them with a +90% alcohol on a Qtip. Blowing actually makes them dirtier and can cause corrosion.
2019 here lew just watching your old vids
Great review. Was looking into getting one and I found the review awesome.
Dude, you need to post a link to the blue sweater so I can buy it, LOL.
No
+Garbunclezzz It depends on your TV. Most won't work with the zapper, but if you get one that's low latency it can.
+Garbunclezzz Zappers can't work on LCD/LED etc, the whole idea of the technology relied on how tvs were made back in the 80s (CRT)
question to everyone in comments. if i sold retro consoles with hdmi ports for reasonable prices would you buy them if they worked perfectly ?
Nope just buy bunch of adaptators ( like 20$ of it ( because HDMI to Peritel need elecktronics ( convert analogic to numeric)) and you have it
A lot of people would. There is a huge community of people who work to get their old systems playing as nice as they can with new displays. Check out people like MyLifeinGaming.
Two years now from your question, haha amazing good question. You got the answer now.
Hey! Im 15 and have a massive retro game collection, including an NES.
Guys. At around 4:19 in the video, You can hear someone talking. Is that jack? Turn your speakers up.
I really wish they would make an n64 like this which plays the games in hd without the blur
My mother gave me her nes for this Christmas! This is the best present i ever had!
im 12 and i love the classics and retro gaming likes snes nes amd many more so theres still hope
500$ is pricey, but let me answer some of the common "why not" questions: why not use an AV/hi def converter? because it causes input lag. that is bad when you are playing ninja gaiden/ battletoads. the parts are not that pricey but designing a board onto which you'll be installing those parts, essentially combining famicom and nes systems takes time and time is worth something. furthermore: this is not one system. if you want to price shop it price a famicon unit and a toploading nes. ps, this has four controller ports (more work designing the board here and a great feature that requires a peripheral device on the original systems. i want one.
The memories this brings back is amazing but like envelope cooler. I still have my old Nintendo and Nintendo 64 and love playing them xD
At 2:45, it's jacks hand!!
Yees008008 No it isn't, it's Lou's hand...
Thumbs up for watching the recoons!!!! I used to love 'em
I bought an SCART to HDMI converter for my SNES for a few bucks, works like a charm on my 55".
It says on their website that this is an FPGA board recreating the original NES hardware. It is hardware based, which puts it a step above emulation, but it isn't authentic. I mean, cmon, did you think they fit both the Famicom, NES and all those output mods into a case roughly the size of either one?
Playing all the classics! Love those titles.
and there is places selling supports of up to 10 different retro gaming consoles in 1.. and it cost like 200 bucks.
THE reason i sold my SNES is the input delay on my new tv because of analog>digital. When they create a SNES with HDMI its an instabuy :)
I am being serious about this
I remember holding a NES game cartridge and the excitement was unreal
I never played an NES but I love the cartridge.
5:05 - 5:10.. Those noises LMFAOOOOO
2:20 that is a port for European TVs and is about the same but slightly better than our American composite.
omg when it freezes.. such bittersweet memories.
Blowing in your cartridges will damage them! That's why I always use a leaf blower
I think I'm actually the target audience for this device. Still have an epic collection of cartridges but my old v2 top-loader console only outputs RF, doesn't look so good on the modern TV.
Raccoon's was the best 80's show ever. You must be Canadian?
