I cried while watching this video and I'm happy for every soldier who's coming back home to his or her family!
august is almost here, that means my husband should be coming home soon! almost year has past since he left us! he missed our little girls first day of school and her first father daughter dance....so many things he's missed! end of august can't come fast enough!!

I was living in the war zones when this came out so I never heard it. A seasoned veteran, I returned to the war zones to support our troops. I went to Iraq at the end of 2007 and in 2009 moved to Afghanistan for nearly 5 years. I stayed out of country for nearly 12 years. This was my first time hearing it. Thank you Steve for the dedication to the soldiers of our military. Coming home was always a great adventure. Unfortunately many came home draped in a flag. Today our soldiers still come home to their families. In recognition of the soldiers still out there you may notice veterans wearing red shirts on Friday. That’s how we recognize and thank the soldiers still out there fighting the fight for their country. God bless them all. Steve our families grew up together. You and Joe were great friends of brother. I hope you are still in good health.
I found a man that I'm crazy about. He's everything I want in life. Hes so good to the kids..the downfall...hes airborne infantry...schedualed to leave next month for afghanistan. I can't wait to get this call...so we can finaly start our lives together. I LOVE YOU W!

They risk their lives every day to make this world a little more safe. And some of them have to leave this earth much to soon without the chance to see their kids growing up. It's so sad.

ALOT of the ones you see in this video are either Marine or Navy Crew Chiefs or pilots. The brown and green suits are their flight suits im in school becomin a Crew Chief now.
