We love spending our time with you Jes because ur a delight to be around, your positive personality and kindness spreads happiness to others. I love that you share your beautiful garden with not just us but with animals too, you are a role model to help others learn to share their gardens with nature. Most gardeners on UA-cam hate wildlife in their garden and want to get rid of them. You understand we share our world with them, like you say they are just hungry and living their life, they don't understand plants cost us money they just be trying to survive. . Yes it's frustrating sometimes but your garden proves you can still have a beautiful garden even with wildlife eating bits of it. I wish everyone could live in harmony with nature like you.
Jes, God has Blessed you with a Beautiful soul just like your beautiful garden! I Love watching your Movies. I know how much you love to garden and I am the same way. I Love to garden also. Enjoy your weekend up at Mackinaw Island and looking forward to seeing the lavender garden. Thank you 💐🙏🏻
Hi there Jes, loved the garden tour. Wonderful seeing the raccoon, we don’t have here in Australia. I am also a hosta collector and admire your selection. Mine are now dormant as we are in winter (no snow!!), have frosts. All the best, Suzi.
I so enjoy your movies and waking and talking with us. Your gardens are beautiful and THANK YOU for showing us your weeds…it is encouraging! We all have spots we “haven’t gotten to yet” your honesty is so appreciated 💕🌺🌸🌻
Thanks again Jes for the walk thru your beautiful gardens. Your hydrangeas are so lovely especially hanging over the wall & the astilbes are fantastic as well. What am I saying , it’s all fantastic. Cute raccoons. Have a great day 🇺🇸🧑🌾🦝
Your garden is looking so pretty, and thank you Jes for letting me be a part of your precious time to, it really means a lot to me, I’m just an old girl from Canton Ohio who really enjoys gardening and being outside in the beautiful weather our Heavenly Father blessed us with, I hope you have a wonderful blessed day today also, hi Max🙏🏻😇🇺🇸🩷🌸🌺🌷🌞
Hi Jes! Your garden spaces are looking great! Love how the cut flower garden turned out ❤️ What is the variegated hosta under the birdbath (with the bird in the center) …. It’s blue/green .. and beautiful !
Your hydrangeas are stunning. The large hostas and white hydrangeas are showstoppers. Making the bed larger is a great idea. Those surrounding your house will look magnificent. Door County, Wisconsin has large white mop head hydrangeas everywhere. In New England, so many homes use them as foundation plants. It’s like being in a magical kingdom sometimes. You are the finest example of how hard physical labor, dedication and knowledge makes empty woodland spaces turn into lush and lovely garden beds.
If you want to do an interactive tour, you could do a UA-cam Live and there will be a live chat on the side of the screen. It would be a great opportunity for people to ask questions as you walk through your garden. Have you picked a name yet for your naughty garden?
Oh my goodness, that last comment. "Bye Buddy, I hope you find your Dad", from my favorite Christmas movie. Love you Jes, and enjoy every day watching your videos.
is absolutely enchanting! The way you take us on a tour through your gardens and landscape is both soothing and inspiring. It's evident that you have a deep connection to your garden and a keen eye for nurturing its beauty. Your passion for gardening shines through as you share the vibrant colors and diverse wildlife that enrich your space. Keep up the fantastic work, and continue sharing these delightful tours that bring joy and tranquility to your audience. I am Floating Village Life

You've created such beautiful beds! I watched a video where you were using an auger to plant. Can you use those auger bits with a regular drill or do you need a special kind for planting?

That Japanese painted fern to the right of your bench and bird bath is huge!! I have 2 of them, and I thought they both died, but they finally started coming up and struggling. I would love for mine to get that big. I have a shade garden that I made inspired by your gully garden! I have a tiny yard, so it's small, but it has lots of different color and texture.
Jes your gardens are absolutely beautiful, I luv all the colors of you hucheras and hostas!!! I planted a forever red huchera last summer and it seemed to do like it’s spot…however it’s struggling this summer, only has 3 leaves and quite small. I’m going to dig it up, and make an arrangement in a pot like U do!!! It’s in morning sun and afternoon shade. I luv the color of the leaves and don’t want to loose it as they prices this year have gone cRaZy!!! Thanks for all your inspiration Jes🫶 Could u explain which hucheras do best in full sun verses shade? Thank you, sweet lady❣️😊🌹

Beautiful!! I’m wondering what happened to the three tuff stuff red hydrangeas you planted about a year ago? That was the first video I saw of yours just recently because I planted one too. We are similar gardeners!
I am just hearing about people painting their Allium. I never heard of that before. Interesting to know you do the same. Do you move your Allium around?
Love your garden and your vision for beautiful design. What happened to the three red / pink PW hydrangea plants which you planted near your flag last fall?

Your garden is gorgeous as always Jes! Thank you for sharing your movies with us! I have never seen a sum and substance hosta anywhere near me😢. Would love to find one. I agree about the Annabelles. We have had a lot of rain this year and mine are the best they have ever been. Lots and lots of flowers. Yours like mine are stunning
I love how you use the heuchera and the hostas together for color. You almost don't need the annuals. It's probably one of the prettiest shade gardens I have seen in a long time.

Can’t get enough of your beautiful garden. Can you please advise what kind of maple trees you have in your garden?
Hi Jes! Great tour as always 😊 Were any of your flowerbeds made by sheet mulching or were they all dug by hand? Thanks!
The walnut tree maybe the reason some plants are not growing as well. You have a beautiful garden. Thank you for sharing.
Have you thought about adding coleus? They’re really easy to propagate.
Hello new here… I totally love your garden it’s just beautiful 😊 thx for sharing…I’m in the south now but miss the Midwest those Hostas are just gorgeous 😊too hot by me for them
My annual Victoria Blue has never returned. Will try this year. I am in a zone 5b/6a in southern On. Canada. 37:17 37:19
I have different varieties of Hosta , but I have found that within 3-4 years some have turned back to dark green
Do you have any issues with that ?

Jes, what type of boxwoods do you have in front of your house? We’re they very small when you first planted them?
Your garden is gorgeous as always Jes! Thank you for sharing your movies with us!
