Fantastic House of Greens! Pretty Cool. Could hardly stand up here on my seat and miss every info about each plant you touch. Amazing that you could identify each one of them. 🥰

I am amazed how these aroids grow in very small pots, are root bound, and have very little soil. So, as she said that once they attach themselves to the wall, they don't depend on or do not get anything from the soil/pot anymore. How I wish to have a massive space for my houseplants, too! Thanks for this video.
Those anthurium growing without pots are insane. And the huge monstera in the tiny pot! And the purple berries on the other anthurium! I love these tours, thanks!
This was fantastic!!!! I could barely wash my dishes as I didn’t want to take my eyes off of the screen for fear of missing a beautiful plant. It was worth every single commercial. Thank you for this 💚💚💚💚💚
Haha I love that. But you just made me check the ad frequency. YT always automatically puts SO MANY ads on a video, so I went and removed some of them. It was excessive. I generally try to check before it launches, but sometimes I forget! Hope you got your dishes washed!
I can’t believe this lady looks after all of this by herself, she is amazing, she needs some help 😁 I would gladly spend my days helping her, just for the experience, if I didn’t live so far away 🥰
These videos just blew my head completely. The amount of aroids growing here is just unbelievable. Many thanks to you, Emily and the Missouri Botanical garden for bringing this to us.
Thank You for taking us along. And thanks to Emily and Missouri Botanical Gardens! Awsome. Anxious to See what Tom has to share with us? Those leaves were huge and fascinating how the plants choose how they want to grow. Like a mind of their own.
Love seeing some of those plants at their full potential. It reminds me that although I like philodendrons they can get massive. Thank you Ms. Summer, more plant tours would be appreciated, but as you said they can be costly. ☃️❄️💚🙃
Keep them coming! Loved part 2 as well! Emily is so knowledgeable. I was interested in seeing plants of the Nephthytis genera because I know that all Syngoniums used to be in that genus. Those purple berries are gorgeous!
Aroids are my favorite! I really like that the plants have a mind of their own, particularly when their desired conditions are met! I like the Philodendrons that look like the Selloum, but are not. I also have to remember that Syngoniums have that Nephtys name too! Loved the tour!
Hi I'm from Indonesia, where the Epipremnum amplissimum originally native to (Papua is one of them). As far as I knew, E.amplissimum have 3 forms (green, silver stripe, and full silver). cmiiw 🙏🏼 I've already collected 3 of them. They're such a amazing species.
Summer is the reason why I got into the houseplant community and she keeps on giving me so many reasons to stay. I wish I could meet her someday. Come to the Philippines please when this pandemic is over 🤞🏻
I just love this institution. I use their website all the time for reference and I've never been close enough to visit, so thank you for bringing me there in this series of videos. I've watched this one twice.
I loved both part 1 and 2 of this field trip. I love you both geeking out over the plants .../ as I would do if I were with you. These field trips make my MN February doable. Loving on the green!
oh my goodness, what an incredible greenhouse! They have done an awesome job maintaining and growing so many beautiful plants. I could happily get lost in there.
Always love your plant tours, so educational for newbies like me and so much to take in, but am loving it. I've been following you since i became hooked during the lockdown period in 2020. And yeah would totally agree with what Emily's children said, you guys are indeed a special breed of your own and I love it🥰🥰 so if anything keep up the good work
So glad you joined in on the fun. Always good to have a notebook on hand to take notes. I often go back to my own videos and learn something [again] because it's easy to forget some of the good stuff along the way as your brain gets fuller and fuller. ha.
@@summerrayneoakes funny how you said that about the note book coz that's exactly what I did when I started🙂 and now I've been dubbed by my children as that crazy plant woman😂 thank you again for the great work that you're doing, such a treasure trove of knowledge esp for plant enthusiasts like me
I could watch this for hours. The plants are all so beautiful! I have to laugh that Emily isn't sure how to pronounce the Latin names. I am the president of an amateur mycological society and we all pronounce the Latin names with our own flair. I know so many descriptive Latin words from mycology that I can decipher some characteristics of a plant by its species name. Looking at you, Anthurium atropurpureum...atro = dark, purpureum = purple. Learning the Latin really is helpful, although daunting.
I love learning the Latin meanings. If I have the time, if I find a new one (one actually just came up recently that I couldn't place)-I go and look it up. Also love that you run a mycological society!
@@summerrayneoakes The wooded portion of your property near Ithaca is likely a great mushroom habitat. We are in CT and have traveled to foray at SUNY Geneseo. Last year would have incredible there with all of the rain. I love that you are bringing the property back to native. Best of luck with it!
Thank you Thank you Thank YOU and Sanders /team for putting this collection tgt :) Always LOVE your videos especially the field trips content, so beautiful to see these lovely greenhouses and all the amazing species which we could never know/get/marvel ... love anthurium and of cos that omg monstera albo from that tiny pot to beast as it grow WOW! Loving the content and yes, green goddess is BACK! ;)
I absolutely loved this and the previous video tour. What amazing work Emily is doing. Wow! Keep up the great work too Summer (and Sonder) of sharing these insights. We appreciate it SO much!
This tour is definately awsome ..... the plants just blow my mind. This video is something that always put me on the track for the aroid lover. I am starting with my first aroid about 2 years ago.... on my early 50s .... many people said it was bit too late te to start of. But .... this video keep reminds me how gorgeous they are ......just keep plating ....
Sitting here going crazy! Tbh and Idc growing plants makes me feel like a God! I want every species and I want them to thrive then I'll be settled... Nepenthes are still the best! Even over philodendron and Anthurium and Monstera
There's a M. deliciosa at the Bristol Aquarium (UK) that flowers and fruits, I wonder is the humidity from the aquariums helps. If you ever visit again I'd love to see any smaller Aroids like Anubius and Bucephalandra they may have in the collection 💚

Am I the only one that wanted to cry toward the end? This was so cool.
It's amazing that a lot of them are in very small pots but grow so big! It's so satisfying. Love seeing the others climb on walls too!
See summer smiling as they walk around through the jungle upstairs. She is in heaven 😀
These videos just blew my head completely. The amount of aroids growing here is just unbelievable. Many thanks to you, Emily and the Missouri Botanical garden for bringing this to us.
I don't know how she keeps up with all those plants. She is amazing 👏
The plant A Maze is excellent, thank you.🐸🙏🏼
Omg.. this is paradise 🤩 I half expected a baby dinosaur to pop out of there 🤣
Oh wow. Thankyou all so much

That Monstera albo growing up the wall in out of what looked like an 8 inch pot is just unbelievable.
What an awesome greenhouse design. I have never seen anything like it. Thank you so much for these plant tours, I just love them.

Seing P. Aplissimum made me happy, I've had this green variant for a couple weeks now :)
Love this and the previous video. More private greenhouse tours! you could spend 40 minutes on any one of those plants.
Wish we had more time. Could have spent months there and only just scratched the surface.
