- I present you a Medieval Castle straight from a fairytale. It is modest in size and somewhat tall. It's ideal for a survival base. Interior will be done in a separate video.

Just finished building this in my survival world, absolutely love it!
@Etcytion probably 2-3 hours gathering resources, I did have a silk touch pickaxe that saved me hours since I was able to mine stone and not have to smelt cobblestone, and then about 4 hours for the actual build!
@hammerhead2506 do you play on java? I'm one day into the build and I'm looking forward to it but it's a nightmare to build on bedrock
@@ofiol8586 I built it on Bedrock on my realm, honestly it was pretty easy solely because I had been playing already for a week or two and had the majority of the resources as well as a diamond pick with silk touch that helped tremendously with picking up smooth stone so I wouldn’t waste time smelting cobble

You can’t place ladders on trapdoors or stairs on bedrock (31:21). It would have been great to know.
Yeah, im stuck there too, what are the other alternatives? Idk what to do.. maybe scaffolding but like its not giving medieval
@@JustARandom_DuckI chose to place a cart with a rail attached between half blocks, so when I jump and click I can go up
Good but for the ground I didn’t know how long it was, and then I had to follow the things that yellow and white blocks and it took forever so I think you can do it u

On bedrock ladders don’t place on stairs and trap doors, is there any way to get by this?

at 31:26 where you build the ladder onto the trapdoor for some reason even when i crouch it doesn’t let me place the ladders on the trapdoors it just opens the trapdoors. how do i do it?

Maybe use something like barrels, they have roughly the same texture I believe

Fun story, I saw sandiction's newest video released 3 days ago, and wanted to copy his castle build in my hardcore world, because it would fit perfectly with the style of another castle I had built a few months ago... It's Odd though, it was the same castle.
