Not just justice for Trump, but the nearly complete lack of action against price fixing and gouging from our food industry. Anti-trust should have consumed his office the minute that behavior reared its head.
There are a lot of breakups that need to happen. And the fact that Merrick took no action, and that Biden didn't force his hand or replace him?
Both of them share the blame for this. And it's still going on, and is a point of serious pain for the middle class and poor.

I'm Hispanic. I voted for Harris. I am a data scientist. I don't agree with the comments you're presenting about the election.
    - There's absolutely no way that the "closest election" was called in the first 30 minutes of the results.
    - There's absolutely no way that someone who is the most divisive figure in politics, someone who's losing more than 5% of his votes, lost only 1 M vs last election, vs 15 M of the democratic candidate. The latter was the biggest electoral movement since Obama's '08, even bigger than Clinton's '16.
    - He won counties in CA that the last person to win those was Reagan. CALIFORNIA. If you'd tell me he won in FL - with the gerrymandering that there's here I'd understand - but CA... come on, we're not that naive.
Garbage in, garbage out as you said. I have not checked the data on the election, as states are still counting... but you don't have to be a mathematical genius to understand that there's something odd with the numbers.
It's not the Hispanics, men, jews, Italians, Puerto Ricans.
It might be Russians. It might be a particularly odd and alleged illegal South African. We're right now, all very confused, as not even MAGAts are celebrating.
This is not the problem of the Democratic party either, but the problem lies on the fact that Dems always rely on Bonafide ideas - thinking the other side would be as legal and truthful as they are - while the other party would do ANYTHING to win an election.
They've done it in 2000 (Bush v Gore), they had very odd and lucky breaks during the 2016 election, and now they were losing 2/3 with Harris on the possibility of a landslide but scored a trifecta winning by +5 M votes....
We need to move, because they're eating our lunch. We can't afford to be robbed like we got robbed with Gore, and certainly, we can't afford 4 years of this joker.

As a non- practicing Catholic I was shocked that a large number of Catholics, especially women, voted for Trump and helped him win this election. To vote for a felon and con man who overturned a womens right to chose? I have lost all respect for Nancy Pelosi and the majority of the voting public who knows who trump is but voted for him anyways.

@@theburnhams2925Not so. RCs do exercise choice no matter what the Church says. they pretty much follow the public breakdown according to the Pew Research Center. So it is surprising that they would discriminate against others who disagree about choice. Voting for choice to acknowledge another’s beliefs is being a good citizen. It’s also a strange argument to cite what RCs do, or should do, when the Church doesn’t follow its own teaching when it comes to the celibacy of its priests and refraining from predatory behavior toward minors. The Church discriminates against women. Also gays - ironically. At the least this behavior affects the authority of the church. It’s why I’m not a Catholic - among other reasons. It’s why membership in the church is decreasing.

Hi John, so many spot on topics. There are good, great people of all color & from all over the world including Mexico. John when I was younger in this beautiful country of ours I was down on my luck just out of the Army & I decided to hop freight trains all over the western half of USA as I might of mentioned. Once I was on a freight car called a gondola. Thats like a boxcar cut in half & the top half removed. It was full of huge slabs of inch and 3/4 thick steel. But you could stand or walk at the back of the gondola. It was a freezing night & there i was with nothing but Mexican immigrants on the train with me. I don’t speak Spanish just a very little so they knew I was American. I gave them some food I had & they could of easily robbed me & tossed me off the fast moving train but I crawled into my army sleeping bag cause it was freezing. Alls they had was polyester shirts. I was little worried but more tired & passed out. When I woke up in morning it was still cold I got out of my warm sleeping bag & there they were all sort of staring at me. I was like omg how did they survive. But I was safe.
I’ve been listening to a Mark B. who is a economist. He talks about how the Czar of Russia, (Putin), how there economy is going to collapse because they are going against Adam Smith. Not only will it collapse he says but there would be disastrous things for the globe. Putin recently said his country’s economy is gone awry. Someone said Americans chose hate over love. Just got off the phone with my 95 year old Auntie. John she says Trump is no good. 😃 she’s right, we really didn’t talk much about him because she said she gets upset. John’s says democrats don’t have spines but now the 17 governors are getting together to put millions of dollars for court fights, and Joe Biden is trying to confirm more federal judges. If nothing else Trump sure taught me a lot about politics more than I ever imagined. Michael Popok is spot on about law and what is happening as well. God Bless.

After speaking with a friend born and raised in Germany, now a naturalized American citizen, I have some small comforts. Germany was in a very different place than we are today. I hadn't known that Germany is actually a younger country than USA. The various principalities were barely cohesive as a country, the poverty was abject, as he put it "the laws and structures were not established yet", also post-WWI they were ripe for a shift back to a 'monarchy' which was still very fresh in their minds. I do hope he is correct. People are hurting, but are there enough that are holding or willing to see it improve to keep the fight up? Every crack in our foundational systems has been exposed by this pariah... Might we have a chance to patch those up if we get through this period? Let us all hope so.

Oh wow John! Thank you for validating my thoughts and saying everything that I've been ranting about.
Everything you said here is spot on!!
I'm a retired attorney and can't accept that a billionaire criminal with (basically) an entire law firm representing him gets to effectively abuse the legal system repeatedly and actually cow some of the judges. It's outrageous. I mean, WHERE was his probation officer when he was repeatedly violating the terms of his bond release??? Not one word was said nor any accountability.
Well, here is something I've been thinking.....yes, I can still dream even if it's impossible or a bridge too far...... I'd like Joe Biden to step down now and appoint Kamala as president of the United States. First, she'll pardon Hunter Biden. Then, pursuant to Article 14 §3, Kamala should announce that Trump is a national security risk, that because he fomented the insurrection and participated in it in several ways, she is not going forward with swearing him into office. She'll state that he's unfit for duty. Then, with the broad presidential powers given by SCOTUS, she's going forward as the president of the United States. Then, let them sue their lying asses off right up to SCOTUS. Then, SCOTUS will either have to make a decision about the issue of Article 14 §3 once and for all, or punt. Say nothing. But it will at least be taking the fight for the betterment of the national security and citizens right to the criminal activity of trump and his minions. I think there's a strong argument for making a stand like this. Plus, it will show the country and the world that she's got power, fire, and can play hardball when necessary. Nobody will mess with her after a successful outcome. Yes, I am fully aware of how some of the MAGA cult members will respond, much less the orange Mussolini himself. But to SAVE democracy, we've got to fight like hell. We can't be milquetoasts, we've got to take bold decisive actions and THIS is the time that it's warranted. We've got to play 3-dimensional chess here! I'm also aware that Joe Biden wouldn't think like this, but being a "surrender" party won't save our country!
Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the Constitution mandates that we TRY !! If some States wanted trump removed from the ballot, then surely there's strong support for taking action like this. I'd love your thoughts on this, should you be inclined to opine on these procedures.
Thank you again for a great video 🙏💕💙🇺🇸💙

The value of your experience and reasoning is priceless. You are spot on when you suggest our male Democratic leadership simply lack the bone marrow courage to confront evil. They need to do a testicular examination. Thank you for always giving us hope and meaningful guidance. Semper Fi.

The first Latino people to be deported will be people who are following the legal procedure and have their info on file. The criminals aren't as easily rounded up and would have been deported when caught anyway.

As illustrated by Lawrence O'Donnell in a recent vlog, the USA doesn't have enough law enforcement personnel to round up all the illegals. The idea that this would occur was simply campaign rhetoric.

Wow, John Flannery! Thank you for your views on our present set of circumstances. I'm going to have to listen again to make sure I caught it all.
One of the themes I heard was 'lack of courage'. The Jefferson quote is a keeper!
"A nation that expects to be ignorant and free expects what never was and never will be". I wrote it down and will pin it to my bulletin board.
I am sad, mad, scared, grieving, heartsick, and discouraged. I am grateful for your analysis and for your just having a good talk with us today. You are a touchstone. Thank you!

Thank you John. The Democrats lack fighters and as you said , not fighting with words but with actions. Given power you must be willing to use it, as fully as possible. Instead of fighting, the concern is to not offend some voting block or some wealthy donors. Time for a new party or a renewed party with youthful and bold leaders?

We don't have to bear that burden of most of what is coming down the pike. We will have to reorganize our own citizens with community efforts to help and support each other. Sometimes you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink it. A lot of legal immigrants voted against their own best interests along with Maga. We need to expand our own media outlets also.

Mr. Counselor; great speech. Sorry but I found it hard to keep interested. But man you care. Love you for it. Mr. Counselor. Normal approach to this problem won’t work, in my opinion. We have to face it head on face to face with our lives our fortunes and our sacred honor. We cannot; not stand and fight. Their grip will only get tighter. And the job will be harder, the longer we wait. If we want, what we once had, we are going to have to fight in the most unconventional ways. God help us all.

The resistance has begun to grow and we will stand up for the rights of our citizens. Please keep up your talks and important information. We need and appreciate them. ❤
