For a few months, I am facing these symptoms & found this video for the first time. My Doc. asked to take a video of my symptoms & i tried - symptoms stayed with me for longer time. After seeing your video i start relaxing, my symptom vanishes as i start relaxing. Thank you so much. V grateful 🙏
I have just symptoms like I feel something twitches under my left face when I drink tea it twitches and when I drink milk it twitches. I don't know what's twitches under my left face it happens below the cheeks but it's happen under my left side face
HI Lena, thanks for the video. I know you mean well but just to give you some feedback...if you are going to explain something on a video, specially when it comes to a medical condition... try to at least make a video that is clear enough so people can at least try the basics. I know you want people to go and find out more about the Alexander technique but it would also greatly benefit you if you give a video that is clear and well thought out. Just my two cents. Thanks again.
I pinch my eyebrow, put a cold drink on it sometimes. Those both stop the spasm. I think, think that singing is helping too. Idk I sure wish others would let me know if this helps. Retired nurse. (What else am I gonna do?)
A few months ago. I started to have some random twitching, mainly in my left eyelid. I so worried to be having the first symptoms of hemofacial spasm. Can you tell me about your condition?
Hi Garima! This student took about 10 lessons to learn how to align her body and release her muscles and open her joints so that the spasm would stop. If you look at some of my other videos, you can practice constructive rest, active sitting, etc. and see how that pauses your spasms. If you would like lessons yourself, please contact me at: Lessons@AlexanderTechniqueSFBayArea.com
Often it is not just the neck but a pattern of tension throughout the body. What I have found is that by relaxing the entire body, you can temporarily stop the twitch. Would you like me to try to find a teacher near you? Where are you located?
It takes a number of lessons to learn how to align and balance your body. You want to balance forward on the balls of your feet, but your entire foot is on the ground. (Heel as well) And you are loose from head to toe. Alexander teachers find your habits of tension and help you undo this habits and create new healthy ones to replace them.
jalal hussain it is very individual. Different people hold tension in different parts of their body. I would be happy to help you. Contact me at: Lessons@alexandertechniquesfbayarea.com and we can do a video lesson!

Hi, do you know the name of the tense muscle in the neck that's causing the facial twitch, or where exactly it is?
