2016 ൽ ഞങ്ങൾ 4 കൂട്ടുകാർ ഒരുമിച്ചാണ് ബൈക്കുകൾ വാങ്ങിയത്.. ഒരാൾ apache RTR 160, ഒരാൾ pulsar 150, വേറൊരാൾ glamour.. പിന്നെ ഞാൻ cb unicorn 150...6 വർഷങ്ങൾക് ശേഷം 2022 ൽ എന്റെ unicorn മാത്രമേ perfect കണ്ടീഷനിൽ ഉള്ളു.. ബാക്കി എല്ലാം കോട്ട ആയി.. ഞാൻ ബൈക്ക് ഒരുപാട് കെയർ ചെയ്യുന്ന ആളൊന്നും അല്ല. എന്നിട്ടും unicorn സൂപ്പർ ആയിട്ട് നിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.. ചെയിൻ സ്പോർക്കറ്റ് ഇടയ്ക്ക് മാറുന്നുണ്ട്, എഞ്ചിൻ ഗ്യാസ്കറ്റ് 2,3 തവണ മാറിയിട്ടുണ്ട്, ഒരുതവണ ബാറ്ററി മാറി, ഒരുതവണ 2 ടൈറും മാറി... വേറെ ഒരു മേജർ ഇഷ്യൂ എനിക്ക് വന്നിട്ടില്ല.. മൈലേജ് 55 ന്റെ അടുത്ത് കിട്ടുന്നുണ്ട്... ഞാൻ പൂർണ happy ആണ്.. ഞൻ വാങ്ങുമ്പോൾ വണ്ടിക് 83000/- ആയിരുന്നു.. ഇപ്പോൾ അത് 138000/- ആയി

ഞാൻ യൂണികോൺ 2006 ആണ് എടുത്തത്. ആരും ശ്രദ്ധിക്കാത്തത്തും വളരെ വ്യത്യസ്തമായ ഒരു കാര്യം എന്ന് പറയാവുന്നത്. ഏകദേശം 2007 മോഡൽ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ഇറങ്ങിയ unicorn വരെ made in japan ആയിരുന്നു അതിന്റെ കൂടുതൽ പാർട്സ് ഇറക്കിയത് , CB (city bike) വന്നപ്പോൾ ആണ് അവർ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ പ്ലാന്റിൽ കൂടുതൽ പ്രൊഡക്ഷൻ തുടങ്ങിയത്.

riding comfort, engine smoothness,mileage, medium power, എല്ലാം ഒരു കുടക്കീഴിൽ കിട്ടുന്ന വണ്ടി ആയിരുന്നു യൂണികോൺ, bs6 എത്തിയപ്പോൾ mileage കൂടി എന്നാൽ engine smoothness ഒരു പൊടിക്ക് കുറഞ്ഞു.
Auto choke ശല്യം ആയി മാറാറുണ്ട്.
മൊത്തത്തിൽ build quality സാരമായി കുറഞ്ഞു അതിനാൽ റോഡിലെ കുഴികളിൽ വീഴുമ്പോൾ ചെറിയ രീതിയിൽ അവ ശബ്ദം ഉണ്ട്.
എങ്കിലും യൂണിക്കോനിന്റ്റെ തട്ട് ഉയരാതെ നില നിർത്തി honda

പൊതുവെ Service തീരെ മോശമാണ്.Full Synthetic Oil,NGK Iridium Spark Plug ,ഓരോ 10000 kms ലും Air filter മാറ്റുകയും,ഓരോ 3000 Kms ലും Drive Chain നെ Diesel കൊണ്ട് clean ചെയ്യുകയും -ഓരോ 200 kms ലും chain lube ഉപയോഗിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു നോക്കൂ.

2012മുതൽ എന്റെ അടുത്ത് ഉണ്ട്. ഒരേ വണ്ടി നല്ല റോടിൽ 60+മൈലേജ് കിട്ടും. ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിൽ 45+55കിട്ടും. ചെയിൻ പിന്നേ മിസ്സിംഗ്. ബാക്ക് ബ്രേക്. വേറെ ഒന്നും പ്രശ്നം ഇല്ല. ലോങ്ങ് റൂട്ടിൽ പോകാൻ ധൈര്യമാണ്. ഒരു പാർക്കിംഗ് ബൾബിന്റെ കുറവുണ്ട്. ഇപ്പൊ 400രൂപക്ക് പെട്രോൾ അടിച്ചാൽ 125+125=250km ഓടും...45.50.55.സ്പീഡിൽ പോയാൽ currect മൈലേജ്. ആനക്കയം to സുൽത്താൻ ബത്തേരി

എന്റെ ചേട്ടനും യൂണികോൺ ഫാൻ ആണ്.. പുള്ളിക്കാരൻ ഇപ്പൊ BS6 എടുത്തു.. പിന്നെ ഒരു കാര്യം.. ഈ ലിസ്റ്റിൽ ഇല്ലാത്ത ഒരു Unicorn മോഡൽ കൂടെ ഉണ്ട്.. BS 4 model ആയിരുന്നെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു. Unicorn ഇന്റെ പതിവ് ഡിസൈനിൽ നിന്നും മാറി മറ്റൊരു മുഖമായിരുന്നു ആ യൂണികോർണിന്. 160 CC യിലേക് ആദ്യമായി മാറിയതും ആ മോഡലിൽ ആണ്. പക്ഷെ പുതിയ മോഡൽ പരാജയമായി, അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ ആ മോഡൽ കമ്പനി പെട്ടന്ന് തന്നെ നിർത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.. പിന്നീടാണ് യൂണികോൺ വീണ്ടും പഴയ മോഡൽ re-launch ചെയ്തത്..
ഇത് ഇത്ര കൃത്യമായി പറയാൻ കാരണം എന്റെ ചേട്ടൻ തന്നെയാണ്... ഞാൻ ചേട്ടനോട് നല്ലൊരു സ്പോർട്സ് ബൈക്ക് എടുക്കാൻ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടും ചേട്ടൻ കുലുങ്ങുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല... പുള്ളിക്ക് Unicorn തന്നെ മതി.. അതിന്റെ കാരണം ഒന്ന് ശബ്ദം കുറവ്, പിന്നെ ആവശ്യത്തിന് പവറും മൈലെജും പിന്നെ ഒരു ഫാമിലി വണ്ടിയും എന്ന് പറയാം.. ഇനി കാര്യം പറയാം...

യൂനിക്കോൺ ഫസ്റ്റ് മോഡൽ BS 2 (2005) എടുത്തതാണ്. സൂപ്പർ വണ്ടി ഒരു പ്രശ്നവുമില്ല. ടയർ, ബാറ്ററി ബ്രേക്ക്എന്നീ സ്വാഭാവിക മാറ്റങ്ങൾ മാത്രമേ ഇതു വരെ ചെയ്തുള്ളൂ. ചെയിൻ വരെ മാറ്റേണ്ടി വന്നിട്ടില്ല!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

new bs6 model. Gear change is not smooth. Gear slip, false nutral, Jerking by fuel missing. Oil leakage from engine. Gear stuck when we try to urgent break from 4th gear to 2nd gear, we need to switch off bike and change gear to neutral and start again. It is horrible when we are in mid of road. I bought this bs6 threr months ago and fed up. Rear break and headlight are very poor and tyre skiding Price is very high, switchs are not smooth . You check all these before buy this bike.

Change the kit in side the carburettor and the missing will be gone. Just about 350 - 400 rs only. I'm also a 2013 October black pearl owner bro and still the milage is as you told 55 - 60 km/l. Done 95,000+ kms together.

1st gen had self start as an option. Sprockets were different than 2nd gen. So it had better fuel efficiency than later models. Rear tyre was thinner. Paint quality was much better. Crash guard was optional. Horn was tiny. T stem was different.Didnt have handle vibration dampers and trip meter. I had a 1st gen self start unicorn

ഞാൻ BS6 മോഡൽ 2020 നവംബറിൽ എടുത്തു.1.23 lakh ആയി onroad. second service കഴിഞ്ഞു.യാത്ര സുഖം ആണ് main positive thing pinne അത്യാവശ്യം നല്ല മൈലേജ് ഉണ്ട്. എൻജിൻ കോൾഡ് കണ്ടിഷനിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ rpm ഏകദേശം 3000 വരെ raise ആകും.2 minutes വരെ എടുക്കും idle ആകാൻ.ആദ്യമൊക്കെ അതൊരു വലിയ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടായിരുന്നു.ഇപ്പോ അഡ്ജസ്റ്റ് ആയി.പിന്നെ gear shifting pblm ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അത് സർവീസ് സെൻ്ററിൽ കൊടുത്ത് റെഡി ആക്കി.ഇപ്പോ നോ പ്രോബ്ലം.ഇടയ്ക്ക് നല്ല missing ഉണ്ട്.അത് unicorn ബൈക്കിൻ്റെ common problem ആണെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു.LRR ടയർ ആയത് കൊണ്ടാണെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു back break മാത്രം apply ചെയ്താൽ വണ്ടി പാളി പോകുന്നുണ്ട്.ഇത്രയുമാണ് എൻ്റെ experience ഈ ചുരുങ്ങിയ കാലം കൊണ്ട്.
