This along with the Bougainvilleas are one of the few vines that can handle full sun all summer, sandy soil, no mulch in pretty much the hottest country on Earth on top of or near metal structures without frying. Grows faster than Bougainvilleas as well. Great choice! Petrea volubilis would handle similar conditions as well.

These have naturalized in Florida and grow everywhere. It’s loves humid wet conditions. Congratulations on getting it to grow there.
