How do you execute the 50 yard sand shot?

Adam, another great video you guys put out. Can you elaborate on having the sternum in front of the ball to move low point ahead of the ball here vs having the slight hip bump and spine angled away from the ball in a regular iron swing? Wouldn’t this move the low point behind the ball in the iron swing?

Thanks Charly and great question! Full shot you’re moving into the golf shot and covering it. With the goal always being to turn and finish over your front foot it is important to load behind it so u are able to move into it.
The bunker shot you’re hitting down behind it but the lowest point is still well past the golf ball which is why on a downhill bunker shot it’s important to get that sternum forward.

What about normal bunker shot the sternum still ahead or over the ball

No, it’s pointed ahead of the ball but it is behind the ball since the ball is always forward.
