But first, try everything in this video if you are having trouble getting your home link to work. It may be just the position you are holding your remote! This should work on all brands, Jeep BMW Chrysler Ford Toyota Hyundai GM Honda. I have never used the "Liftmaster 855lm Chamberlain OEM Homelink Compatibility Bridge" (linked above) because I have always been able to get it to work with the methods I show in the video. This worked on my 02 Sequoia. I've looked at those buttons for about 3 years and never realized I could program my garage door to open. Like others who have commented on this video. I have tried to connect my home link to my garage door opener several times over the years and was unsuccessful. I watched this video from beginning to end and was able to get it to work the first time. I did try to program my garage door opener to be used with all three buttons so that I could push any one of them, but it appears you can only program one signal per button. At least I couldn’t get it to work with all more than one button at a time. Great video! Thanks for making it!

My Sequoia appeared to have no code from the previous owner, and so it was not blinking at all, so I cleared it, but hitch I wasn’t grasping from the other videos because of the twenty seconds and now, my remote won’t program to my home link. Very frustrating, but this video was helpful. 😊hope you get back to me, I have a genie garage door opener. Keep up the good work!
This video is great! All Homelink videos and Chrysler 300 videos mentioned standard programming OR a rolling code. Overhead Door company did the same as well. Yours is the only video that explains that you might have to do both. So I synced the remote AND programmed with the learn button on the opener. Worked first time. Thanks again!!! Randall

Quick tip: if you live in a housing development that has all the same garage door opener models, make sure you calibrate your garage door when nobody is using their garage door opener. This happened to me. I successfully calibrated the first part, but when I hit that “ learn button “, one of my neighbors drove by and opened his garage door; which caught my code to my garage door. The next day, my garage door opened twice without me using it; as my neighbor was leaving and coming back from work. If this happens, clear all transmitter codes received by pressing the learn button for 6 seconds until the learn light goes off. And then redo the process to calibrate your home link to the garage door opener. Hope this helps.

Great info, but our Allister Access 3000 does not have a "learn" button that we can find. It was already in our home when we bought it. The home was built in 1953, and has only a doorbell-type button on the wall, no key pad. Is it even possible for the Home Link in our newly purchased 2010 Honda Odyssey to be programmed?
