What is the problem, my brother?
Is the quality of the device in the GMC differ from the devices that we have in Saudi Arabia?
I note you're a prima owned a Ford Expedition Y and it works well when you program it, but in my car GMC 2007 was not able to program it the way that you have made and as it is written in the vehicle handbook

Thank you. Your method is the ONLY one that worked on my Genie Quietlift 2040. The car manual and the opener manual only tells about the 1st part and not training the door motor.

Great instructions. Used on 2016 Chevrolet Equinox LTZ. Had a Genie Promax garage door opener. Had to do the additional Step of using learn button on the Genie Promax. Thank Greatly!

After following instructions setting my 2018 GMC Terrain to learn. Went to my Genie 3055 pressed the "program" button held until blue then pressed 2nd time to flashing purple. Went into GMC pressed program 1 button 3x.

when training universal remote in my Chevy impala the light stays on steady & never blinks. uni remote never worked on my Chamberlain garage door opener.

+Tim Areno Thank you for your comment. Some garage motors do not have a strong enough antenna to pick up the signal. I have heard of antenna extenders that will help pick up the signal. Did not work for my 2015 GMC sierra. I got manuel out easy fix! I started the truck because it was hot out turned air on! I then went to the back of the garage door opener pressed the red learn button (could be blue or orange or some other color)went back to the truck you have 30 seconds pushed the button I wanted to open the door when you see the garage opener in the garage flash the big light bulb on front let off the button. Now push your button in truck should work!

Find a neighbor with the same brand of motor then ask for their remote because the remote tells the car the brand of the motor after you use the remote take it back to your neighbor and hit learn on your motor then do the rest of the steps

Not all GM Products work this way, some just hold the button you want to program until it flashes then Pair remote to that button.
