Legend for cleaning up the beach! Also super stoked that you get to keep a couple shell here and there!
I noticed your tables looked a little marked up and/or stained and I remembered you mentioning they were stainless steel. You may know the trick, but some citric acid (can buy online for really cheap in bulk) or other acidic things like citrus juice can really freshen up stainless surfaces when scrubbed on and rinsed off. Might not fix everything but it sure works well on appliances and containers!

Hey Andy another great episode. 👍🏼👍🏼Here’s a recipe that might be a good one for one of your catch cook and camps. maybe you’ve heard of it, but take a bream or mangrove Jack scale gill and gut it leave the head on cut into the side perpendicular to the lateral line down to the back bone every inch or so and stuff those slits with some minced or crushed garlic and either pan fry it in some oil which is the tastiest or grill it. fish basket works good for this but it’ll work without might fall apart when flipping it.

Try keeping sea anchor on hand to slow you in the current and drift fish. You can fashion one from an old 5 gallon bucket. It's not as good as an electric motor but makes for a plan B as we say.

You should try boiling your potato in a little sea water for 5 minutes first before cooking over the fire in the foil. They do it on the Canary Islands and it is amazing. Creates a tiny salty layer across the whole potato skin. It would probably work with the corn also (but I wouldn’t boil it) - maybe just dip it in water and then put it in the foil.

I agree mate, i rarely will buy a fishing rod that bounces and flexes easily. Not a fan myself! Definitely prefer stiffer rods (haha how bad does that sound lol).

Those oysters would have never made it into a pan, if it were me. From the little milky, to big (a little chewy) black lipped. I'm not sure sure how far south of where I used to live you are, but the big black-lipped were prolific tended to fill you up quicker. After gaining a taste for them all au-naturel, I felt it's a crime to cook them.
Anyway, good vid and some nice little cod caught. I might have thrown it straight on the campfire, uncleaned or scaled, though. I loved little river caught sooty grunter that way.
Coming south and inland a little, I've still to have fish as fresh as when living in the far north, even if was was deep frozen at times off the boats. Freshly caught and cooked, by your own hand, was the best though.
Great vids, Andy. Keep it up. Regards and best of luck in the waters, salt, estuary and fresh.
