I live in a tiny apartment with a 4 year old and your videos are a little escape. ☺️ and I’m pretty sure you’re the sole reason I have learnt so much about Fish despite never having caught one in my life 😂 I watched a video the other day and before the person said anything about the fish he just got, I piped up with, “oh it’s a black spotted cod!” 😂 I honestly surprised myself 😂

It was definitely the new remote control I’ve given it back to the shop and they’re taking their sweet time to tell me what I can do about it or if they will replace it
Legend for cleaning up the beach! Also super stoked that you get to keep a couple shell here and there! I noticed your tables looked a little marked up and/or stained and I remembered you mentioning they were stainless steel. You may know the trick, but some citric acid (can buy online for really cheap in bulk) or other acidic things like citrus juice can really freshen up stainless surfaces when scrubbed on and rinsed off. Might not fix everything but it sure works well on appliances and containers!

And because of that they end up closing the very good fishing spots, not to mention also the harm it’s doing to the animals and the ecosystem.
hey andy! in southeast asia, we’ve got a dish called OYSTER OMELETTE. very simple to do, some spring onions, white onions, oysters into the egg, cook em up, some rice and sambal sauce on the side and you’re good to go. it’s a good staple 👍🏼

Hey Andy another great episode. 👍🏼👍🏼Here’s a recipe that might be a good one for one of your catch cook and camps. maybe you’ve heard of it, but take a bream or mangrove Jack scale gill and gut it leave the head on cut into the side perpendicular to the lateral line down to the back bone every inch or so and stuff those slits with some minced or crushed garlic and either pan fry it in some oil which is the tastiest or grill it. fish basket works good for this but it’ll work without might fall apart when flipping it.

Try keeping sea anchor on hand to slow you in the current and drift fish. You can fashion one from an old 5 gallon bucket. It's not as good as an electric motor but makes for a plan B as we say.

Lucky man, I travelled 200kms for my birthday to get away and the place was packed aha I still caught plenty of trout 👌 you should show your collection of shells every so often and I like the sound effects too haha cheers
You should try boiling your potato in a little sea water for 5 minutes first before cooking over the fire in the foil. They do it on the Canary Islands and it is amazing. Creates a tiny salty layer across the whole potato skin. It would probably work with the corn also (but I wouldn’t boil it) - maybe just dip it in water and then put it in the foil.
Amazing you didn't take the skin off the fish, I never take the skin off, I guess growing up in South Australia is differenrt? Now living in the Tropics I still leave the skin on, LOL

@@Andysfishing Whats the length of it roughly? I agree mate, i rarely will buy a fishing rod that bounces and flexes easily. Not a fan myself! Definitely prefer stiffer rods (haha how bad does that sound lol). Was asking mostly because i noticed when you cast it, it looks almost the same size as a 12ft surf rod at the base. Looks like a solid rig!!!
Those oysters would have never made it into a pan, if it were me. From the little milky, to big (a little chewy) black lipped. I'm not sure sure how far south of where I used to live you are, but the big black-lipped were prolific tended to fill you up quicker. After gaining a taste for them all au-naturel, I felt it's a crime to cook them. Anyway, good vid and some nice little cod caught. I might have thrown it straight on the campfire, uncleaned or scaled, though. I loved little river caught sooty grunter that way. Coming south and inland a little, I've still to have fish as fresh as when living in the far north, even if was was deep frozen at times off the boats. Freshly caught and cooked, by your own hand, was the best though. Great vids, Andy. Keep it up. Regards and best of luck in the waters, salt, estuary and fresh.

I have a C anchor but it’s a bit of a pain to use and it’s huge

Hey Andy! One of the highlights of my week is being able to relax in bed with the headphones on and watch your video each week.
Was just wondering what size casting / spinner rod you are using at the end of this video? I'm looking to move up from the smaller lighter gear as i do mostly saltwater fishing these days.

I agree mate, i rarely will buy a fishing rod that bounces and flexes easily. Not a fan myself! Definitely prefer stiffer rods (haha how bad does that sound lol).
Was asking mostly because i noticed when you cast it, it looks almost the same size as a 12ft surf rod at the base. Looks like a solid rig!!!
Hey Andy just wondering if you checked for a faulty relay block between the battery and fuse box or between the trolling motor and fuse box?
After some testing it turns out the new remote control stop working after two or three trips it seems odd but that’s the thing thats not working
@@Andysfishing is there a manual foot pedal you can get so if the remote goes out again you can use the foot pedal to steer it?
Those oysters would have never made it into a pan, if it were me. From the little milky, to big (a little chewy) black lipped. I'm not sure sure how far south of where I used to live you are, but the big black-lipped were prolific tended to fill you up quicker. After gaining a taste for them all au-naturel, I felt it's a crime to cook them.
Anyway, good vid and some nice little cod caught. I might have thrown it straight on the campfire, uncleaned or scaled, though. I loved little river caught sooty grunter that way.
Coming south and inland a little, I've still to have fish as fresh as when living in the far north, even if was was deep frozen at times off the boats. Freshly caught and cooked, by your own hand, was the best though.

Hey Andy, when do you think the 13 fishing Concept E bait casting reels will be back in stock on your Amazon shop?
They are really only good for freshwater fishing my Amazon shop is not my own it’s just a link to somebody else’s sale I don’t recommend the concept 13 reels for salt water
@@Andysfishing Ye, I wouldn’t have used them for saltwater, wanted one to go with the daiwa b.b.b rod for hiking or freshwater travel fishing.
