Thanks for answering the question I asked about the injuries, Andy! Great to have content creators interacting with the audience on camera and not just in the comments. The rib fractures sounded very painful! You’re a great guy, keep it up. I Watch every episode

Impeccable timing, mate! Just got the notification as I was looking for something to watch. 👏 I do enjoy these hiking catch and cook video's, would be nice to see some more of them. I'm really getting into foraging at the moment and I love seeing the things you find in the bush to eat. I usually Google what they are called here in South Africa, or even just an equivalent, but most of the time we get the exact same thing here. Really cool. Thanks for the effort you put into these videos. I'm hoping to start my own channel soon. You've inspired me to really give this a try. I've always loved doing it and I might just start making videos about it. Thanks Andy.
Watching this I look over at my wife whose on the couch with me. “I miss camping”. She looks over “your watching that Australian guy again aren’t you?” Left my small town and chased her into the big city. The things you’ll do for love.

Great vid again! The water dragon nodding is a territorial gesture, and the hand wave is a submissive signal. So in this case, the lizard is probably fairly dominant, and immediately regretted stepping up when he realized how interested you were in him! lol
These hiking videos are really good to watch. I'm not sure which I like more: These jungle episodes or island camping ones so it's good that you do both.:) I hope that your knee is ok now. About the injuries. Have to say that while I was injured, your videos along with some others brought inspiration to my days. So thanks for that also!

Hi Andy, Great Video as always! A little tip for cooking whole fish on the BBQ, especially if you are stuffing it with head on , try cutting from the back down the full length of the fish., that way you are left with an intact belly,
well Andy it didnt go past the second minute and im thinking damn.... this guy is living the dream. i know i say this alot but what an EPIC landscape you have. its true wilderness, i can imagine alot of the places you walk may be untouched. i wish i could do this thing in my country, im a wealth of survival and primitive knowledge, and just to see wildlife over there would be amazing. Everything would be new to me :) keep up the good work mate im going to enjoy the remaining 48 minutes

try saying red belly black snake three times ahahaha she sells sea shells at the sea shore. peter piper picked a peck of pickled peppers, but how many peppers did peter piper pick?
Andy, been a little while since I've gotten back to your channel, sorry (so little time, and too many channels). Watching you cook up that little sooty reminded me of a time I was prospecting along the Palmer river and catching them there. Old mate, that I went with, showed me the native way of cooking them. Catching them was easy and plentiful, with only a little sausage meat as bait, I think I was using one of those corks with light line and small hooks. We'd wait until the coals were just right and throw the whole fish on, un-gutted and all. Some of the sweetest fish I've ever eaten. Peel back the skin once done and fork the flesh off the bones. I'm not too much into spices, apart from salt and pepper, maybe a little lemon. I like to taste how the fish or meat tastes without buggering it up. Hope you give it a shot sometime, if you haven't already. Regards. PS. A constrictive bandage is a necessary out in the bush and might have relieved your knee a bit, particularity a snake bite. Nothing like watching a 7 or 8' taipan slither past you while you're sitting down rolling a smoke... and being hours away from anywhere. Locator beacon these days too, now they're available and things really go south.
Thank you for the comment and cheers. Sorry for the late reply. I have been busy creating online fishing courses. In my last video I give a an update on it. Also note, I do see all new comments, this time I just got a bit behind.

Cool! Andy, at minute 7:40 in the video, you mention the leaf as "Gotu Kola" which is actually the Sri Lankan word (me being Sri Lankan was very proud :)) the english word i think is "Pennyworth". Keep on posting. LOVE you adventures.
Hey Andy, the mushroom you picked up was an amanita mushroom. It's got a lot of poisonous species in that family and I can't tell from the video, but it could have been a death cap. It has a slight yellow/green tinge which changes brown as it grows. Contrary to popular belief, handling the mushroom will not do you any harm, but consumption can result in death. If you find any mushrooms on your travels, show the camera the top, the stalk and the gills and people might have a good go at identifying them :) As always, never eat any mushroom you aren't sure of 100 percent.
Good idea about filming the mushroom from different angles I do know this to identify them but I’ll try and remember to do it in my videos for you guys

Hey Andy..just some advice dealing with injury..When filming and talking to us have your knee in the cold/cool water to reduce the inflammation ....cold will reduce the swelling "RICE"
Some time ago I asked you who was filming parts of your videos. You said it was all you. I did not belive you becaus some of the filming looked impossible to do alone. So it was great that you gave us info
Hi Andy, I'm in the States and I know a bit about mushrooms that I find here. Great description of that mushroom. It is an Aminita. They grow out of a sack (vulva) and typically start out as a ball like the one that you found. There are some edible varieties but also some poisonous/deadly ones. You are right to avoid it.

Thanks Andy another great video
It's always great bumping Into the black cockatoos, I hear them and instantly look out for them and we could watch you eat nuts on a rock all video mate, we love your stuff
And I know trout are well acclimatized and a great sport fish but I would much rather catch Macquarie perch, yellas and bluenose cod in the upland streams anyday
Never hard of a blue nose cod
I think their numbers are increasing, I see more and more
@@Andysfishing bluenose is the old.timer name for trout cod
I reckon andy finds magic mushies in the bush and has a good time
Sorry but that’s not my gig
Hey Andy..just some advice dealing with injury..When filming and talking to us have your knee in the cold/cool water to reduce the inflammation ....cold will reduce the swelling "RICE"
Yes, I remember RICE from school. I did a bit, but 5 hours hard walk out didn't help, 2 weeks later and its still not right.
That banana shrinkage🤣🤣🤣
Cold water
BRAID BURN😉 awesome vid mate
Ha ha
Wow birds great
They are very cool but I think I need a new zoom camera
Some time ago I asked you who was filming parts of your videos. You said it was all you. I did not belive you becaus some of the filming looked impossible to do alone. So it was great that you gave us info
I do film almost all my videos solo, I’m guessing you understand now that the 360 camera is the impossible shots
Thanks again for another great video. Take care of that knee!
The knee is manageable, but still sore now, 2 weeks later...
sorry u hurt your knee just have to be careful out there God bless u
Yes almost 2 weeks later and my knee is still sore but it’s getting better
Awesome! 👍🏼
Thanks! 👍
Thank you for the info, I try to be careful.
Great Bush trip 👌
Yes it was!
hope your knee feels better soon... keep up the great work mate.
Much appreciated. The knee is manageable, but still sore now, 2 weeks later...
I Love watching your videos..
You are so nice and inspiring..
Love u Mate ☺
Thank you so much 😀
Fans from malaysia😁
Great to have you along
Awesome vid!
Glad you enjoyed it
i like how you list the common name and then the scientific name, really helpful
I do this because in different states and countries there are different names for the same species
@@Andysfishing yeah i just think it is an awesome idea, keep up the good work mate
