FPS tanked after patch...I was getting 130s w/ fsr quality and FG now under 100 on DLss ultra performance and looks terrible. FSR is worse and FG (FSR) does not work anymore

The thing about framegen that some people do not understand is that the amount of input latency introduced when its enabled depends on what frames you were getting before you enabled it. If your approaching 90 fps then turn on FG input latency is barely noticeable in most games. However if your down in the 40-50 fps range turning on FG will without doubt introduce noticeable input lag. FG is not the bandaid everyone thinks it is, it works great for high powered machines not so great lower powered machines. But for single player games that input lag on lower spec machines is fine.
On my 5700X and 4070, I'm getting 120-130 and doesn't go below 110 on 3440x1440p ultrawide, except when aiming down sights using zoomed optics. DLSS on balanced, medium settings.
Before I got good frame and I was using lossless scaling, before standard I was getting about 90 and now I’m getting 60. Adjusted all my settings it’s just chalked
Have in mind that a higher field of view needs also a little more GPU power because your gpu has to render more in your sight. And... as sad as it is for the most people... but a 40XX series Nvidia card helps a lot. I had a 3070 some weeks ago and it was not good. PS: Frame Generation seems a little bit buggy atm...some people have CTD's with it (including me sometimes). Hope they fix that.
@ I have nvidia settings for tarkov on so that’s why but yeah the moon is really bright and when jungle trees and bushes start is when it begins to get a little hard to see
Tweak gamma, saturation and contrast, need to find ideal values for best of both, correct black levels are super important for night-time especially without NVG
@@Jamie-z3u thing is I could see without nvgs fine so why would I do that it would put me at a disadvantage requiring nods, and this is the issue that now I have an advantage making something valuable useless
Us AMD graphics card users are seeing good performance. The Nvidia card guys are seeing no frame gen from far, only the 40 series is getting frame gen from dlss. They will fix it in a future hot fix. For now I am having a blast with this game.
Well gents, looks like we’re gonna have to wait for one of the knowledgeable PC guys to make a video lmao. This update killed my performance. I was getting 200fps in the base and 160-180 while out and about. Now I get 90-130 in the base and about the same while out and about. I’ve tweaked my WinPriority32 and updated my registry and while the stuttering is gone again, frames aren’t any better. Checked my NVIDIA control panel and all of it was the same. I only get like 170fps at the main menu too which was my first indication that my performance was gonna be dog
UE5 v 5.4 was updated and as a result, the game's clarity has decreased, making it appear blurry.

literally smh

100 procent agree
My FPS just cut in half after this update, i ahd 120 before and its just 60 in base now. Even lower in cities and when i use scopes

Btw this works DLSS and turning on frame generation made my frames go from 50-70 to 100-180
you only have access to Frame Gen in DLSS if you have a 40 series nvidia card. 30 series doesnt use that version of DLSS
@ it’s garbage anyway more latency
Anyone else have no problem seeing at night and the nvgs are actually too bright?
Ive seen it actually could be because of the monitor used, oled monitors looks almost like daytime at night atm
@ I have nvidia settings for tarkov on so that’s why but yeah the moon is really bright and when jungle trees and bushes start is when it begins to get a little hard to see
Makes night ridiculously easy starting off to where a flashlight or nods aren’t needed and if anything keep the nods in your container and you’re 👍

And I got rubbish performance before this update
I'm not even going to bother playing it anymore.
i lost 50 percent of frames since this update even put everything on low... cant play it anymore .....
what's youR GPU dude ???????????????????????????
I cant even get 120 fps @ 1080p.
R9 3900X, 3060ti, 32gb ram, 970 evo ssd
Aint no way I only get 40-70fps.
the game needs a beefy CPU, yours is just to old
Game runs awesome for me get 175 to 190 amd ryzon 7 7800x3d gpu 7800xt and 32gigs ram nvme ssd samsung settings all high and epic no issue

Why on earth would you even be tweaking when you were getting a minimum of 160-180fps?
@ I’m not. That was before the most recent update. After the night ops update it’s 90-130
@@kayshell66 overall - the game has become even more processor intensive, so turn down Effects Quality to low
@@-mrws- I’ve got everything on low except textures which are at Medium 😂

1660 super, ryzen 5 3600, 16gb 3600 ram. Am I screwed chat?
Just put higher contras setting and dont warry about nvg or flashlight
Show us your Nvidia control panel settings please!!
He did..?
Frame gen got disabled for now
the character menu has some pixel on it 😑

69 FOV nice
This game is optimized as shit. Useless update
one of the worst games in optimization. Its like day before. This game is made for 4090 only. the devs are so stupid.
its a pre-alpha what do you expect
@ExTremZero they didn't have to release it so simple, I don't care.
