FivePoints Vids I wish you would. I only had one interaction with you where I said your immature jokes distracted me from the content of your videos. And rather than take the constructive criticism like an adult you proceeded to insult me and make even more juvenile jokes about balls. There are plenty of real children on UA-cam, so there is no need for manchildren.
Some Blue Dude I’m almost 6.4 and weigh 260 lbs and the first time I saw my friends d1 game at OSU and got to meet some of the athletes I felt out in my place big time. There are some big guys in D1 so for him go out of his way to tackle some dudes when he didn’t have to i say he has some serious balls. Good for him.
Some Blue Dude - Yea it was entertaining as hell UNTIL !!! he got knocked on his azz. Then PSU nation started whining like little girls how unfair it was that a defenseless kicked got knocked on HIS azz. If he's going to hit then he had be ready to get hit without crying.
If only he didn't choose a school whose claim to fame was covering up a serial child rapist. Good thing we got good ol' Michigan State, so wholesome! Nobody ever does anything bad there! What's that? Nassar did what!?!?!? Fuck it, Penn State is fine I guess.
I actually played soccer with Joey, we were actually on rival teams. Dude was really good. Lots of respect for the guy. Hope everything goes well for him. Truly an inspiration.
I suffer from anxiety and depression. It's a silent killer. People can see you on the street, smile, wave and yet they have no idea what you are going through. I applaud Joey for getting help that he needs.
This man went to the same school as me. I still remember his legendary kick in the playoffs to win the game. You even showed the clip. Mad props to the man!
Joey was a fan favorite even before those two big hits. Glad to hear that he is still getting the help he needs and completing his education. Would love to see him on the field again but even it doesn't happen Happy Valley will always be pulling for him. He's just a good kid that deserves to be happy.
it truly is, yet it is so misunderstood. depression for example is one of the most misunderstood maladies a person can deal with. I have suffered from depression for years, and people would tell me, "snap out of it" "get over it" or "you just need to get out and meet people". not until I actually talked to a professional did i learn what my problem was and how to deal with it.
KTO we’ve been over this before, You know everytime I see the notification for a new video. I have to drop everything I’m doing just to watch. Love the videos bro!

Please take care of yourself and know you are a valuable person needed as the example you have set. I thank you for your efforts and showing us all how to handle adversity. Thank you!! May God bless you sir!!
Love your story and your stories. Thanks for your work. Joey's story is amazing, as is his talent and place in Penn State history during a time that saw a program turn a corner withe a new coach and a once in a lifetime talent (Saquon). I hope he gets his degree, because he's earned it in spades, from sports to life. Good luck buddy.
Whoever did this video is a LEGEND! You are a storyteller, the world needs more of you, you guys are a dying breed! Great video, and upmost respect for JJ, I hope he finds his Peace!
Lots of respect for that Michigan returner. Didn't gloat or try to rub it off like it wasn't his fault or nothing - just took it and appreciated the kicker as an equal.
My dad and I are big Penn State fans and we would always get out of our seats to watch Joey kick, he was so entertaining! I’m glad he turned his life around for the better.
As a Penn State fan, I’m just glad he’s getting the help he needs. I hope he keeps improving and gets to the best health possible. Thank you for the update video.
That kicker sweeping the returner’s foot with an all out stretch right before the TD line is the most insane moment of this video. That was a trip every NFL safety would be proud of.
Thank you for the video. You helped address a serious issue that is to often overlooked. A great way to tell Joey Julius story and let people know they are not alone. Great Job.
This is one of your best videos. I keep coming back to it because of the way you tell the dudes story and to show people that everyone can struggle and work for getting better
My girlfriend’s brother is a life long friend of Joey’s. I’ve heard stories about Joey and what he went through as a kid and post football. I’ve met him on several occasions and the guy is doing a lot better in life, on top of being one hell of a character
I am a high school kicker and I cover my own kicks all the time. I have about 6 or 7 tackles as well as 3 or 4 assisted tackles. My inspiration is Joey Julius. I watched the Michigan Penn State game on TV and told my parents that I want to do that one day. I hate he had to leave and stop playing football but everyone deals with their own personal problems. He is the bravest guy I know of because he let everyone know about his disorder and was not ashamed as much as others would have been. He is an inspiration to anyone and everyone, but especially kickers who aren’t afraid of “a little contact”.
Having suffered with mental health myself i hope he has the support i got off my family with his own.12 yrs with PTSD and still trying to move forward. Good Luck young man. love from England.
bro im a lions and a Michigan fan also a broncos fan so when I see those clips it gets me triggered lol! But for real great vid its a shame somebody like him faded away in football history.
As I remember it, he could dish it out, but couldn’t take it 🤷♂️. As soon they knew he was fair game, he was running down the field scared of getting his head taken off.
he’s big, but not BIG big. when you’re going up against 6’3”, 300 lb guys as a 5’10”, slightly big guy you’re gonna get shit served to you a lot of the time. it’s damn impressive he made a lot of the hits he did given that size difference, goes to show his natural determination.

As someone who battled with depression I knew he was feeling different deep down inside. So glad he was able to "turn" his life around. Truly a role model to a lot, including me.

Exactly! When he started getting hit back he folded like a cheap suit. Dude would start shit and not be able to finish it.
6:38. Thank you. I’m from Louisiana and I was at that game and I nearly walked out the stadium after that call
What's with the flop when he finally gets hit? I never heard why he laid on the ground like that -- was that something he learned in soccer?
