This is the first time i have ever done a voice over on these kinds of videos i apologize in advance for any hard to understand parts as you can hear my voice is not exactly professional commentator grade. Let me know if you prefer voice or text only in the future.
Awesome idea making a behind the scenes video. It's fun to see how the madness was created. It was also informative. I'd love to see more of these kinds of videos
Every year I have in some way shape or form came back to this video simply due to how informative it is, as well as just genuinely loving the video associated and wanted to see how it was made. For however many times it still amuses me.
The absurdity of really *any* of your videos, explained in detail with behind the scenes, appropriately as if it was a documentary. Just had me all giddy.
i really enjoyed this video it's rare how we don't see videos like this despite the source engine limits. you my friend have creativity i've not seen, but as always, the road lay down ahead loaded of experiences you'll be surprised how easy to expand the limits in source engine c:
@@Delta135Z yes. there's the NewBlue Fx that have some cool plugins, and one of them is the chroma key. it's even better than the default one, but you have to get creative of using it so, remember that. it can work with any vegas pro, even 13,12 and 11. i'll leave the two links here cuz it seems that there's the beta version and there's this one i didn't realize it exist. although it's up to you which on you want : ua-cam.com/video/6lwqDlgenps/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/oNxAMkUlYE8/v-deo.html
In fact all the problem you had with source come from missing or bad documentation Anyway you manage to pull it off and i must admit it is flawless to me Exellent job
The engine is based on different types of diesels. The front is a GP35 or GP38-2 just like the original engine in the game. The rest of the body is from a SDP40F.
0:52 - 1:08 This is why I don't animate characters in vehicles. Although I'd like to know how the 'Make Persistent' option works. I've never used it before. 4:15 - 4:237:34 - 8:03 Nice. Always great to learn about these things with maps. Makes using them more fun and easier. Is there a chance you could provide help with how you made the train move at the station? Since it's a model and not a vehicle addon, it would be very useful to me.
I like how originally there were no blackhawks came in to blow everyone up instead there is one in the background of the one scene (not bloopers oops) crashing
There’s a tool called propper that lets you create props from brushes Maybe you should check that out when you have issues like the windows in the future
I know about that and i used to create the train model that was used in the train station fight scene, however there is a problem using models right next to map brushes, models are not lightmapped in gmod they only calcualte vertex light so there would be a visable border around where the model and map meet
Hey there Next time if you want your physgun to be more efficent you can make it stronger in the admin settings, where you can also set the speed of nocliping!
The reason you could not do the round windows is that the source engine requires that the brushes are always convex, the solution is to do a simple hole in the wall and do the details with a model
I know, while i don't show it in the video, each corner are made out of two separate brushes that are both convex if they weren't hammer would not allow me to save them and would auto fix them the next time i load the map
TF2's trains are based on real trains in Post-War America. So it would've mad more sense if you used a F7 unit that were commonly used for passenger service during that time. That's my opinion anyways so it doesn't bother me much that you didn't do this.
The level of effort you put is astounding! Amazing work man.
Hello there
Thanks :D
@Mᴀʀᴛʏ Mᴄғʟʏ hey ethiomod

ANIMATOR BEHIND THE SCENE
The "empty" part of the train is Acctualy used durring the demoknight fight sense...
That's actually a separate model and not part of the train map itself
Oh come on
I for sure prefer hearing your voice rather than reading text.
Agreed
The triple Medic vs Ticket Medic scene was amazing. And I would love to see your Star Wars parody come to life someday.
I wanna know how to pose those faces.
28:20 I feel would have worked as a small misfire and then the "correct" shot. It was hilarious.
28:33 as well
The Medics and Obi-Wan scenes are forever going to be my favorites in that video. I laughed so much with those I had to pause the video. XD
Thank you so much for showing your tips and tricks. I wish every gmod youtuber did it, like I REALLY need to see how eltorro does his videos
That's a lot of amount of work Delta.
Respect.
I love ya. ❤
7:35 The locomotive that you used is based off of the EMD GP38-2, to answer your question.
As a fellow creator, I truly appreciate behind the scenes videos. Well done! Love your work!
I always love these behind the scenes videos, animation is so compicated at points u never expect

well some fx can just screw the color after using greenscreen. you can install custom plugin for a separate fx chrome key.
Do you know any custom chroma key plugins that work with vegas 14?

i am so happy that this video got a 2nd episode, your animation does give me 2012 vibes
Thank you for still uploading.
Very good video! I really enjoyed this. Relaxing and interesting ;)
I really love the map design for the train station, I use it for my gmod art (which I hope I'm okay doing) keep up the good work dude
thanks
We have the same sense of humor. Keep making great content.
27:00 just another day in Scotland.
You know what's funny?
Bloopers!
You know what's funnier?
GMOD BLOOPERS!
You know what's even FUNNIER?!?
*GMOD BLOOPERS WITH SOUNDEFFECTS!!!*
The engine is based on different types of diesels. The front is a GP35 or GP38-2 just like the original engine in the game. The rest of the body is from a SDP40F.
Those bloopers are amazing

I used the stop motion helper addon to animate the train moving
25:08 "And yes I do plan on uploading the credits song soon"
Me: [Waiting patiently] :)
3:18 that area is VERY similar to the Omsk trainstation.
I love your content!
When the baby cries inside the train.
The passagers: UAHHHHHH
27:12 the sound i make when i have a shopping cart
Oh nice, excellent.
I can relate to the ragdoll inside the prop problem too much.
YA VOICE. i adore ^^

train trouble 3 the epic adventure of enginner and your friends
what maps did you use during the making?
I just learned about the mad hat scout today lmao
OMG, you a danish. Me to. So nice to se danish people still play tf2.
I like how originally there were no blackhawks came in to blow everyone up instead there is one in the background of the one scene (not bloopers oops) crashing
and so you see how hard it is to be a gmod animator
3:31 stay away from the 80's
me: 80's nokia phone rings
Those bloopers lol.
"all i wanted to be was engineer"
spy 2020
30:12 RAPPY!!!

28:25
No watermelons where harmed from this video
How did you create that explosion effect at 29:01?
how do you get tf2 characters with almost no bones?
The police car part reminds me of Christine

Wow your alive
Can i ask your Outro Music on Train Trouble 2?
I thought you were going to say how the Spyro scene was a nice little reference to tf2 air’s saxton hale scene
Hey there
Next time if you want your physgun to be more efficent you can make it stronger in the admin settings, where you can also set the speed of nocliping!
5:00
Simple, fo
Ix the cubemap
And test them with "impulse 81"
Oh wow!
28:21
Is the remix from the credits on Spotify?

Should release a director's cut of the video, with all the cut scenes included
whats the train model from the original train trouble delta
What other models do u need for the error to go away
nice
good job
ok this is why this engineer hates 28:19
Sooo, those Blu Medics are called "Sponges Toulon Medics"?
Interesting..🧐
yes but what is the red thing sitting next to the blue engie when one of the train engies is running across the carriage with the crying baby gun?
fem sentry model from the gmod workshop
@@Delta135Z ok **bhops into a wall and explodes into rubber ducks**
Good
25:00 Pardon? The Spyro scene was based off what??
Good job lmao
14:10 Whats that on top of the roof in the top right corner?
The top of a tree in the background
Actually the locomotive is similar to the MK/EMD GP40FH-2.
yes
i really want this map in gmod but i cant gt it bc no download lnik to steam
Nice voice
