when people backpack, they love to just show the beautiful and the good, the fun and the adventure. you showed real stories in this Raymond, meeting people, the awesome people along the way is what makes trips like these truly life changing. Im loving these videos man :)
Thanks +JR Alli - greatly appreciate this and it's in no doubt when you try to intertwine yourself with the locals, it is a trip that will change who you are. Top comment man
“In my mind, I want Kday to spend a day with his kids” is the best phrase. so kindhearted. We could see that they were so happy for that day. What a inspiring video!!!! Thumb up!!!!
Raymond, I have to say that Im really enjoying and looking forward to the future episodes of this series. I was frustrated with most "youtuber" pumping out daily content and fillers just to keep their viewers engaged but you on the other hand have produced something that tells a really good story to the heart in my opinion and the EFFORT you have put in really shines. You are awesome my man!
Wow..in tears, when you went to visit Mr. Gedey. Thank you so much for being so kind and humble to his family. I am going to try and be strong when I going back for the first time for volunteer work. Very good video by the way!
this is my favourite episode by far. Very inspiring. Now I know how lucky I am and I must be grateful more. And I'm happy that you enjoyed your trips by the look on your face. Can't wait for next episode. Keep it up!
It's very refreshing to see not every traveling video is about capturing the adventure, but also about capturing the stories of the locals and their struggles. Great story man :)
Great video, keep up your great work. Very humbled to hear the stories of people you come across, especially the tuk tuk driver. Helps me to realise how fortunate and lucky some people really are
I am very happy i discovered you on youtube. Loving your videos, good filmmaking and a very nice story, very inspiring. Earned a new subscriber! Thank you
These backpack trips are seriously mind-blowing. Keep up with what you're doing, this really is a big eye opener to appreciate how fortunate i am. Thanks for giving me a look of my culture and others too!
Hey Raymond, just joined your ch & due to your serie on "poor Cambodian man" of Gedey & his family! Good job, keep up good work, very inspiring on your part💕🙏thank you for helping them🤗
i just stumbled upon your vlogs....and while this video was only 7 minutes and 38 seconds long, it has caused me to think a lot longer. thank you for letting me watch your journey....and most importantly to learn.
You are a true inspiration for me! I am considering starting UA-cam and u just made me do it! Thank you and i support your stuff! Nice videos! I am a fan !
It's the best video about Siem Reap and Cambodia I've ever seen! I live in Siem Reap few months and this is exactly what people should see! Great job mate, thanks for that! Congrats!
Well produced Raymond. First video I ever seen of yours and I loved it. If you ever decide to visit the states, Seattle or Denver I'll be sure to make some time to show you around.
I’m a Cambodia and I’m really happy that u make this video to show the world about the real Cambodia and the whole experience Cambodia has everything that u ever wanted if u just wanted to learn something then go to Cambodia you’re learned a lot
somehow just came across your channel and i'm in love. the way you tell and show your story in each of your videos is so touching and breathtaking. keep up the good work!
I'm Cambodian. And there's so many scary stories of traveling to Cambodia. There's good people and bad people. It really touched me to see that your company made them happy. I loved this a lot.
wow man i'm astonished that you were able to capture this touching story, your videos are nuts, i'm so surprised you dont have more views and subscribers. Your editing and aesthetics are amazing, big things will come your way man, i know it. god bless
Hey Raymond, I’m Rayane we met in Langkawi (I drove your scooter to go to the Cable Car), I just wanted to let you know that from all the videos I saw on travelling, yours are by far the best !! I’ve spent a couple of Days with this Guy, he only has a camera and a laptop, he is just holding the camera without any equipement (we were on a scooter, he was holding the camera with one hand and holding me with the other hand whereas 10mins earlier I had never driven a scooter). So basic stuff and look the result ! You have a real talent. Your videos show the reality, the truth, and are full of emotions. Remind me of that backpacking time, it was incredible. Thanks Raymond
I just did the se Asia loop for 2 months and did not for a second think to give a nice tip to a local to show me his life at home. This is absolutely genius and I'm inspired to go back and help a lot more people out in September, much longer than 2 months this time though
There aren't many UA-camrs that i get excited when i see their videos in my Subscription, but you are one of them. As soon as i saw the Video i clicked it. Loved the Video!
You are truly a GREAT filmmaker!! I love your videos: so meaningful and lovely to watch! Great job with everything you'e done and much love from Italy :D
Hey! That was Awesome, I expected to see Angkor What! just like all the tourist SHEEP but you gave me the Heart of the peoples daily life. Amazing and Awe, you are a pure soul.
Wow! This was powerful! I'm so glad you're sharing your journey. I'm heading to south east Asia next year and your videos thus far have made me more eager
Raymond thanks for sharing your love in my country. You are a good person, God bless you! There are many more people who are starving and cold because of insufficient money. Since they didn’t receive high education, they won’t be able to have more comfortable careers beside of being Taxi, Tuk Tuk driver or something else. By this meaningful video; hopefully, everyone will see the reflection and please come to visit Cambodia more and more so that the local people can serve you and reduce some of their burdens. Also, you can help them and spread your pure love to them at the same time! Thanks! 💕
Lovely. The guy was very genuine, and it felt like he greatly enjoyed your company. Also, that promo at the end has me all excited for the next one, aha. Great job, as always
This is incredible!! So inspiring to see the story of an individual family in SEA as oppossed to the standard travel video. This series has been amazing so far, can't wait to see what's next!!
Awesome video, Raymond. It's nice that you took the time to get to know Gedey and learn the reality of how many people live in Cambodia. Keep up the great work!
Love these types of videos! They're very inspiring and enlightening. It shows the importance of getting to know the locals every time you travel and really puts into perspective how privileged we live our lives compared to others who have it worse. Can't wait to see your future videos and your growth as a youtuber and a person! Great job on filming and narrating your trips as always!
You did a really great job with your adventure... The memories will last for a lifetime. My only negative comment would be that with my downloads, the music was frequently louder that the conversations or narration. Otherwise, as I said, great job.
Raymond this is awesome . As a young film maker trying to find his way I really appreciate this video . I was just in Cambodia but was unable to capture the essence that you were able to in just a couple of days . Keep doing what you are doing . This is beautiful work.
This was so inspiring and eye opening. I really admire the quality of your videos and the stories that you're sharing with us - could watch your videos for hours! Sending lots of love and support from back home in Australia :)
Fuck, I'm crying. Bon Iver's Holocene gives so much feels to me because it was one of the soundtracks of my most memorable travel together with the most amazing people I met. The one who introduced this song to me was a woman I met during my volunteering who became my girlfriend. I can still remember every feeling of the fleeting moments sitting together on a bus ride through the clouds in the mountains with this song playing on our ears. Also, my father is a tour guide and a tricycle driver back home in Batanes Philippines, so this film is really close to my heart. So much feels. Thank you for this slice of life and inspiration, Raymond. You're doing my dreams and you're materializing my visions. It's easy to feel jealous and feel unfortunate not coming from a privileged background to pursue my dreams and materialize the visions I had for years, and be discouraged and frustrated that people are already doing what I've been wanting to do years ago. And I do. There's a piece of me that feels all these things, but big part of me is grateful to have stumbled upon your videos. I'm happy for you. Thank you for these beautiful stories, films, and inspiration. The in-betweens, the rawness of the up and downs, the genuineness of these inspire me so much. While most uploads showcase the highlights, these videos remind of my whys. Thank you, Raymond.
I first watched this film when you uploaded it, but since then I've come back to watch it time and time again. It's one of my favorite films that you've created; but not only that, it is also one of my favorite films on UA-cam overall. You are honestly such a great storyteller and I love that you took the time to really get to know a local. Thanks for creating and sharing with the world Raymond! :)
i have no clue how i went from make up videos to this, but i absolutely loved this. i love your style of filmmaking and editing. i felt like i was there with you. i can definitely see this series at a film festival so i would definitely submit if you haven't thought about it all ready.
when people backpack, they love to just show the beautiful and the good, the fun and the adventure. you showed real stories in this Raymond, meeting people, the awesome people along the way is what makes trips like these truly life changing. Im loving these videos man :)

How many episodes are there? I don't want it to end!
“In my mind, I want Kday to spend a day with his kids” is the best phrase. so kindhearted. We could see that they were so happy for that day.

Deep man, I can only imagine how special and appreciated you made the man feel. It truly is a blessing.
Ijust love how you can just seem to fit in with everyone, and in under a week youre practically staying in a taxi drivers house!
This video made me so happy great video
Wow..in tears, when you went to visit Mr. Gedey. Thank you so much for being so kind and humble to his family. I am going to try and be strong when I going back for the first time for volunteer work. Very good video by the way!
This is probably the best travel post I have ever seen on UA-cam. And I'm subbed to many many travel UA-camr's.
Keep up your unique style!
that's really sad. is there anyway I can help gedey's family by donating? I would really love to.
You don’t have too donate , the government have enough money to help everyone there if they wanted it too . But they won’t
This video was GREAT!
That was really kind of you to visit his family.
this is my favourite episode by far.
The most real thing I had watch on UA-cam in a long time, congrats!
Fantastic! You really have a knack for meshing with people and letting them tell their story.
Great video, keep up your great work. Very humbled to hear the stories of people you come across, especially the tuk tuk driver. Helps me to realise how fortunate and lucky some people really are
