What's up youtube! as you read the title 'I just turn my Leica M camera from $5k become $50K? ' Yes and no, basically I get bored with my current standard Leica M 240. I have had Leica M8 before and it was the same color. I want something different but most of the colors Leica are normally for Leica limited edition. So when my camera has no more warranty I decided to makeover and change the color of leather skin. The one that I like is The Leica - Hermes MP-9 edition which cost about $50,000k. Yes, that much.. but I'm not gonna spend my money on that expensive and limited edition camera but instead, I change my Leica M240's skin leather to look similar to that. Hahaha..
This video is actually more about reskinning my Leica. Here I will share with you guys the process or the making to turn my camera look the way I want it.

This video already screwed up. Because of the copyright song i used. So i have to replaced the song from youtube thus the original sound is totally off 😩😨sorry about that
wd 40 on a rag would have taken that off in about 5 minutes, a little alcohol after to prepare for the new adhesive and you would have been able to do that much quicker.

@@ijansempoi right on, yeah, wd40 can be used on your car, electronics (non conductiive) and its the worst enemy of anything that is sticky, it literally prevents things from sticking and anytime you have the sticker residue from adhesive tape you just get a rag with wd40 and it will wipe that stuff right off, its the worlds best kept secret and it doesnt hurt anything it touches, just use a little alcohol after and you are good to go.

Also lemon or line juice would have disintegrated the glue residue easily
The glue is very strong. This is not my first time using skin from this company. My previous Leica M8 until today the skin is perfectly fine. About 10 years already
@@ijansempoi sorry, to rephrase what I said, when removing original skin, u can use lemon or lime juice to remove the glue residue before putting the new skin
