    ------------------------------------------
My first trade was buying 2 contracts of QQQ puts. QQQ is an ETF comprised of Nasdaq tech stocks. It’s also fairly volatile. I was betting that the price would be lower than $216 by March 6th. I paid $424 for each contract for a total of $848. Luckily for me, the market took a little tumble and two days later, I sold both contracts for $1,670 apiece for a total profit of $2,492.
My next big trade was as follows:
On March 2nd, I bought 20 contracts of Las Vegas Sands puts. I figured things were going to get shut down due to the pandemic and their casinos would take a hit. These contracts were $107 apiece. Well, I was right and the stock continued to tumble. By the 16th, the share price had gone from $58 to $40. My options were now worth $800 each. I decided to sell 14 of my 20 contracts for $11,200… netting a $9000 profit. And I still owned 6 contracts in case the stock continued to fall. I ended up selling the final six contracts on April 3rd for $810 apiece. The total trade netted me $13,860 in profit… all from a $2,140 initial options purchase on LVS.
Okay, then I bought two contracts of Spy puts on March 4th for $547 each. In case you aren’t familiar, Spy is an ETF that tracks the S&P 500 - so it’s not just a single stock like Apple. Just five days later, these same contracts were worth $23.90 so I sold them for a profit of $3686.
On March 10th, I played Spy again, purchasing 5 contracts of puts for $805 apiece. Six days later, I sold 4 of the 5 contracts for $28.55 apiece, netting a profit of $7,395 and leaving me with one contract, once again, in case the market continued to fall. I ended up selling that last contract for $3,956 for a grand total of $11,351 in profit on March 18th. Now If I would’ve held all 5 of my contracts until the 18th, I could’ve made an extra $4,000 in profit, but you never want to let your green positions turn red and it’s impossible to know what the market will do the next day. You’ll never go broke by locking in profit - as they say, pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered.
I played Spy puts a few more times.
I bought 3 contracts for $6.61 on March 10th again, selling 8 days later for $3290 per contract for a total of $7,887 in profit.
At this point in time, all of my puts were really paying off. I did play Spy Calls on the 17th. I bought 5 contracts of $254 calls for $620 each and sold just before the market closed that day for $845 each, for a quick $1100 profit.
I think my first losing trade was on March 18th when I bought 10 contracts of CODX for $110 each. That trade went against me and I sold the next day for $40 per, losing $700.

@@gominuke yeah I’m real careful, especially since I’m not legally trading. I’m 15, threw $100 in late last year and I’m right around $550 today. Wish I had the money to start but it helped me learn the market a lot, I had my first option 2 weeks ago Wednesday with Skillz, threw my last $70 i had settled in a $17 strike call. I thought it was time to step it up as with such a small balance throwing my whole account into something wasn’t getting me much of anywhere no matter how good the stock did. But Skillz did rocket in price the next two days up past 19 in after hours, and since the option expired that Friday once I saw it wasn’t moving at market open I took my $270 profit. I was proud of that hopefully I can keep growing it into something I can work with more at ease. Good luck too you :)

Research shows that 95 to 98% of day traders don't make any profit, they will only lose money. Options is only for very experienced people, even for them it's risky. Just start with normal, low risk, stocks trading... This video is not a realistic example of how things will turn out.

A newbie should start with learning everything they can about trading from books, websites, videos etc. Next step would be spending time on a demo account to test trading strategies. Only after that start trading for real. But with something easier, not options, those are too advanced and risky for newbies. Jumping right into trading without any prior knowledge or preparation is a sure way to lose all your money.

Awesome video man! Would love to see more. One question! What expirations were you trading while doing this. I'm not thinking weekly! Monthly?

I have been trading for about 6 months now and just about every trade backfires and slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points . I try to do top down analysis but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader?

@robert anderson You're correct, I don't lose money every single trade, but my main problem is trying to let my runners run. Very rarely do I catch big moves . Instead they go a few pips in my direction, then go against me if when I try holding them. Also my entries could use a lot of improvement. A mentor would be amazing, but getting one is easier said than done. If it's not too much to ask, do you know any legit ones?

@robert anderson I think I have seen this name on a trading forum before, on discord one time, is she really that good ? And how may I contact her if that isn't too much to ask.

First step is learning about trading. Learn while you’re trading by reading books.
I recommend trading for a living by Alexander elder

So my personal theory is even if you’re closing out an option when it’s ..let’s just say $1 in the green (profit). Technically it’s not a dollar you had before so small stepping stone. Profit is profit. I also prefer to try and close losing options to cap my losses instead of seeing if they’ll run. Hitting home runs are rare and usually hard to come by unless some gracious news blesses your account. Keep trucking though. Just realize profit is profit no matter what.

You’re probably taking to long to enter a position and not doing proper risk management

I'm binging your videos a bit and I know they'd be longer if you did this, but I feel like the content quality would be better if there was explanation behind your thought process for all your moves like you explained in the beginning with the Sprint buyout
