Rest in peace Ian McGinty, you had a lot of life left to live and a lot of creative joy left to give. Your passing is a cruel unkind sorrow. I'm glad at least you had a chance to put your creative spirit out there into the world, which will hopefully stay lit for decades to come, a little spark of your essence carried on.

He was taken from us way too soon.

This show has so much potential for deep backstories for all the characters and such, and the characters are all very likable.

Black haired girl-Every intelligent "I should lead the group, but the idiot will solve the problem either way" clichè (Ex:Benson, Connie, Princess bubblegum, etc.)
Kit:"I'm an idiot that will save the daaaaaayyyyyy, why? Because I'm an idiot" clichè (Rigby from regular show, Steven from SU, and Finn from the first few seasons of AT)
And the scull dude is just bill cypher.
While the animation is great, the characters are overdone, with overused personalities

The animation is really nice, but the writing, well, it needs some work. It's very cliched and they call each other "dude" waaaay to often. But this show has a lot of potential and an interesting concept.

The animation is super smooth and the designs look great. The animation, while stunning and could be studio quality work and is seriously impressive, seems a bit chaotic. There is so much to register all that is going on. But The world it was set in seems unique enough to hold a show too, however, the writing could use a lot of improvements. The characters seemed like they were trying too hard to make memes and lol-so-random humor as I like to call it. While not bad, it seemed all the jokes were based in this style. This makes the characters feel a bit one dimensional, the nerd, the protagonist, and strong girl. It would be great to see this with more fleshed out characters and a variety in the approaches to humor. Overall, I would be excited to see the direction this goes in. My most major fault again is the writing, but it has potential. I'll be excited to see the follow up. ;D

I agree with the writing being the main downfall and the characters feeling cliche. The world looks cool though and the story interesting just don't like the almost cartoon networkish characters and try hard dialogue.
I don't mind characters being cliches, because they can become more developed as the series goes on. I found Adventure Time's characters pretty cliched at the start, but they're much more fleshed out now.
TheMaskedPicori When I say cliché I mean that I found them too exaggerated and similar to other characters Cartoon Network). Also the dialogue with dude and radical. The skull guy was awesome.
The animation is super smooth and really cool. The character designs are bursting with personality and the voice acting was not bad at all.
I think the pacing of the dialogue needs more tweaking. Certain lines that should get way more weight to them. The fast and snappy exchanges work, but the audience isn't given a lot of room to breathe. Midway through I realized that I had completely missed why exactly Frank wanted to kill them all and when Kit's dad was brought up in the first place.
Overall, a very promising project, that can use a couple nudges to make it even better.

I "think" it's -There's no "tribe called quest" if there is no "Phife"-. I don't really know what they mean by this but "tribe called quest phife" gave exact search results. Apparently the rapper Phife brought A Tribe Called Quest to success.

To be honest, everything in that song is true, because if there was no evil, there would be nothing to be happy about, because everything and would be gone, making you numb to happiness. And if there was no good, there could be no fear, because if everything good is gone, you would only experience bad things, eventually making you numb to it all. The only thing bad is the end of the song, I MEAN HOW DO YOU FRY ICE CREAM, PLUS IT DOESN'T EVEN RHYME

for anyone watching this now and wants to see more of this, he actually made a comic book for this in 2016!! i've read it and it's really good, it goes into a lot more depth about the demon realm and the characters themselves, especially kit and his dad :)

Also, female black Dipper has the book from gravity falls, but she can do magic like Star from star vs the foces of evil, except it is dark evil magic.

Why does this remind me of MLP so much? I don't even watch it but I see Pinkie Pie, Spike, and Twilight with the script writing of Adventure Time, situations from Regular Show, and the blonde girl looks like she's from Street Fighter but she's more like Mabel from Gravity Falls.

I remember this every few months and decided to finally come and check it out again.
Honestly, this would've made for a great cartoon. So many jokes in it are the perfect kind of silly that would fit in nicely with kids cartoons these days.
Ah well, at least we got a taste of what could've been.
This was super super nice!! I felt like Kit was playing the "funny, slightly awkward but cool" character trope a little too much, but other than that, the art, idea, and characters were all amazing!!

Nice job! How long did it take to make all that? Judging by the fact that the animation is EXTREMELY smooth, I'd guess that it took a good long while. Well, no matter how long it took, it payed off, because this is awesome! Can't wait to see more in the future!

I love this pilot!! Hope you guys can make this into a cartoon! I'd love to see this on TV.
It has nice animation and it has a good idea. I could easily see it on tv. Which is a good thing except in my opinion it needs more depth and a little less silliness. I'm not saying that it needs no fun and games just tone it down a little. I know it's just a pilot. And if if goes in the right direction I can see great things.
